Chapter 5: First Thing First
They finally arrived at the WEO's Wellington branch and went to curtain room to be transported to Orth. After they transported back to Orth, they went to Newcomer Building and met Sarah. "Hey, Mrs. Sarah. We want say thank you to you for giving us some facilities." Nash shooked Sarah's hand.
"It normal kids. We want our best talent get the best facilities. Just make sure you will do your best too." All of the kids then shook Sarah's hand. "Sure thing Mrs. Sarah. Thank you." Bagas said it with big smile on his face.
"Let's go kids." Noah said it while pointing on his watch. Nash replied, "We still have time, right? Take it slow Noah."
"Time is money, kids." Noah tried to straight to he point. "I have something else to do. I will drive you there." Then they entered the jeep and Noah then drove the kids to the Newcomer Building.
They arrived at the building after driving about an hour. This building was a huge building with ten floors. We could see many people standing here, they were soldiers that tasked to protect this building so the newcomer could train without afraid of their safety. The Newcomer Building located near a forest. Why? Because the main purpose of the building was to train the newcomer so in a year they could improve their survivability. We could call this building as a school, with the best security system.
"Here we are." Noah said it after parked his jeep. "So, here is our new school?" Bagas said it while he going out of Noah's jeep. "Yeah, we will study abroad here." Nash replied with sarcastic tone. "Correct. Study abroad." Via said id and chuckled.
"Oh come on kids, we don't have much excuses." Noah replied and then went out of his jeep. While walked towards the main gate of the building, Noah said, "Let's go kids." Then all of the walked together.
They arrived in front of the gate and the staff greet them, "Good afternoon sir Noah. Good afternoon kids. My name is Akira Sakaguchi." Nash shook Sakaguchi's hand and replied. "Hello Mr. Sakaguchi. I'm Nash and here is Via and Bagas." Then Via and Bagas introduce themselves. "Ah, Sakaguchi, is there a new report from the Head Tutor about our last meeting?" Noah asked to Sakaguchi. "Not yet, sir. Mr. Fin still has something else to care about. The incident we discussed last time was already taken care by the Security Departement."
"Good, but please don't forget to remind Mr. Fin that this incident happen in his territory so he will be interrogated soon enough." Noah replied with a serious face. "Alright, what should we do then, Sakaguchi? We need to do the administration right?"
"No need sir, these kids can go to their room. The administration was already been completed by Mrs. Sarah." Sakaguchi explained it with his always smiling face. "Woah, good then. I have something else to do, can you accompany them, Sakaguchi?" Sakaguchi accepted it with a nod. "Good bye kids, remember that you have your watch. Send he message when you get into trouble. I will come back at the day before your first class. We will have a quality time that time." Noah then walked away towards his jeep.
"Okay, kids. I will guide you to your room." And then they walked to the kids room.
On the way to their room, they aksed something to Sakaguchi. "Mr. Sakaguchi. I have a question-" Before Nash completed his word, Sakaguchi replied. "If your question has anything about facilities and the curriculum, we already prepared some books for you at your room." He said it with a faint smile on his face. "Ah, that will be convenient." Nash could only nod. Then Via asked a question, "Mr. Sakaguchi, If I may ask. What incident you and Noah talked before?" As always, our Via here. "Well, some newcomer just attached while went to the forest with their tutor. Everyone survived but had injuries with them." Well, WEO had the protection feature and yet there was still an incident happen. Of course, this made the kids shocked and worry about themselves. "No need to worry. We already increase the safety after that incident. Our safety protocols had been improved since then. The safety department made huge changes including the facilities they used. So, you can relax." That explanation made the kids a bit relaxed, but still, they worry about themselves.
They finally arrived at their room and went it. Their room was just like what Noah ever described. It looked like they have their own apartment with four rooms. After they went in they have some briefing led by Nash. "Okay guys, we need to make a rule here."
"Right,I agree with you." Via said it. "What rule do you have in mind, Nash?" then Bagas replied.
They sat down on their sofa in front of a big Flat LED TV. "First, about room. I think we can use two rooms for sleep, I will be with you Bagas. And for other two rooms, we can use it for training room and study room." Nash gave a suggestion. Via then replied, "Yes, you right. So we can put some books at the study room and some tool at training room. We already promised to get a better facilities here."
"Ah, I see. Okay, I agree with this rule. What next?" Bagas nodded in agreement.
"Next is our political stance here." Nash gave another suggestion. "What do you mean?" Bagas confused
"Like who will be in our friend list and threat list or so." Nash gave another explanation. "I agree. We don't know anyone here. Even Noah, we must be in caution with him before we really can put him in our friend list." Via gave another yes to Nash. Bagas then nodded, it indicated that he understood it.
"Well, the last is our daily routine. What must we do in a day. We must have a very good plan and a good teamwork." Another suggestion from Nash. "I get it, Nash. And I agree with you." Bagas gave his yes and Via nodded.
"Well, the rules are done. So, let put our stuff first and eat first." Nash said it and Via hurried to reply, "Yes, after we eat, let's have another talk. I have something in mind." Nash and Bagas then nodded.
They put their stuff in their room and changed their clothes. After that, they went to the canteen together.
At the canteen, they went to the queue immediately, and when they arrived in front of the staff that prepared the meal, the staff asked, "Hello, I never see you here, are you guys, newcomers?" Nash replied, "Yes, we are sir."
"Oh, don't call me sir. My name is Augusto Diaz, you can call me Gus. I'm 28 years old by the way." Via replied with a smile on her face. "We will be in your care Gus."
Then they ate and nothing happen. After that they went straight to their room as Via suggested to do.
At their room. They sat at the sofa and turn on the TV to decrease their tense.
"Okay, Via. What do you have in mind." Nash asked.
"I have tried the watch and I found that the watch has a very convenient feature. Party Mode." Via explained what was in her mind.
"Ah, I see…" Bagas nodded repeatedly. "Let's syncronize our watch then." Nash replied to Via.
They opened up their watch and sync them. Now they could monitor each other through the maps and GPS feature that been provided.
"Next, I want us to have our role. But I don't really know what can we do with our talent. I have an exceptional fire and a high amount of mana so I will fo mage." Via gave an explanation.
"But, We heard before that we can do summon here. And we combine element." Bagas gave his opinion.
"Alright, I know what must we do. Let's ask Noah about the book and the tools that WEO promised." Nash said it and they message Noah.
Nash: Noah, we want to start studying and practice right now. So, when will the books and another thing come?
Noah: Ah, you're right. It will inform Mrs. Sarah right now. It will be arrived tonight. We already prepared it before.
Nash: Thanks, Noah.
"Hmm, looks like we must enjoy our selves first." Via said.
