Chapter 196: 4-31 is Waking Up

"Okay, got it." The person on the other line said so before hanging up. He then kept his small satellite transceiver and fixed it back to hang from his ear like an earring. He took out the earpiece and had it become the missing pair. He raked his hand through his hair and started taking the shower seriously. Masking his voice with the sound shower was hard, but not the hardest.

After working on things to not draw attention, the man walked out of the shower while patting himself dry. However, as he walked, he ran into a nurse who looked rather very distressed. Since it was their quarters' shared shower for the males, it was normal to meet from time to time. 

The nurse had been wary of stares so he immediately shot a glare at the person who was looking at him. However, he easily dropped it. The nurse only smiled faintly. "How was it getting drenched in bile on your first day, doctor? Happens to me a lot when I was still working on the third floor."
