Chapter 2: Learning, Learning, Learning [Chapter 2]
When the Ancient Being left, I was suddenly engulfed in a whirlpool of Emotions.
Joy.
Sadness.
Fear.
Anger.
Surprise.
Disgust.
Who knew, that in the future, that these would form the 6 Basic Emotions for a species called "Homosapiens". But, that's another story for another chapter.
The emotions actually didn't pull me down. Although I was constantly barraged, I persevered. I started experimenting, learning more about who I am, the world around me, and what forms my body.

Let me explain to you, what I see, and what my vision consists of. My vision...I don't see anything. Just nothing. A world of black. I use my tentacles, or "arms" to feel. To "see" which way I'm going.
You may ask, how do I know all these words? Even I, myself, don't know. When I was searching through my memories, I randomly came to find these. Maybe it was a farewell gift from the Ancient Being. Or, maybe it was inside my head all along and just managed to find it...Another possibility, though, is that I'm not of this world. All that matters is that there's still an abundance of knowledge in my head, just waiting patiently for me to read and digest them.

Days has passed, and I haven't see any changes in my surroundings, yet. I think I'm on a rocky terrain, since my arns feel something rough and rigid. I sense a group of familiar matter. When I went closer, I realized they are composed of the exact same things as me, albeit a little smaller. I tried tasting it, to see what happens.

Nothing happened. Except, I've grown a bit bigger..So that's something..
Huh? What's that?
You're asking me how do I eat??
Well, that's easy!
Just ask the Author, he's the one who made me anyway!
Well, erm, author here. Our Protagonist eats other things by bringing it closer to its body, and "hugging" it to its demise. Whether or not our Protagonist can eat something bigger than him, is still a mystery we have to discover together.

After I have eaten a few more, it seems that I have stopped growing. It might need me to eat bigger ones. My size has grown exponentially, where I do not need to hug to digest anymore. I just need to wrap my tentacles around them, and squish. Just like that, I've become the Overlord of my territory.

While I was casually munching on the dead parts of the people who dared to challenge me, and tried to gain my territory, I felt something change within me. This isn't the same change where I grow bigger, except, this change is changing my form, my shape, my cells. It's completely illogical and unexplainable. I felt a jolt of pain, and my consciousness blurred into nothingness.

After what seemed like years, I woke up. I opened my eye- WAIT, EYES?!
When I opened my newly formed eyes, I saw many indescribable things. I saw vibrant colors. Other species that I have yet to interact with, but the joy only lasted for an instant..
Maybe it was the pain,
Maybe it was from fatigue,
But the moment I stood up,
I fell down, and felt something open,
in the depths of my mind.
