Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Leonard opened his eyes.

"What the fuck just happen?" he questioned

Then it suddenly came to him that he was no longer within his holy sanctuary(aka his own room back on Earth.)

Secondly later after notice that he was no longer within his room- a piercing pain erupted within his head.

Leonard clutched his head and rolled on the ground in pain- during the headache session weird images of things that should not have existed on Earth came into his mind, these images were like pieces and fragment of memories.

After for what seemed like an eternity of pain and suffering the headache stopped.

Leonard then struggles to get up from the cold ground- his forehead now covered in sweat and his face become pale due to the pain.

"So...that's what happens- a cliche transmigration into another world- where there are swords and magic and a lot of things that could potentially kill you."

Leonard now surveyed his surrounding in an in-depth fashion.

Where he is now could only be described with these following words.

"Wow...that's rich," he muttered.

From the memories that he has gained from that session of torment, the body that his soul is currently inhabited formerly belonged to the son of a noble family within a small kingdom

To be more specific he is the third and youngest son of the Duke of Ironwood duchy named coincidentally Leonard Welser within the kingdom of Evergreen- a "poor" kingdom compared to their neighbors, however the house of Welser was quite well off - in term of wealth, the family could be compared to that of the royal family themselves due to the fact that the duchy is at the border of the kingdom is also a crossroad that connected with the neighboring kingdom but that alone was not the only reason- another reason was within the name of the duchy itself, yes Ironwood, a type of tough tree that could only be found within this part of the kingdom - and it's a widely known and highly sought after materials due to it toughness and strength.

With that and the fact that their duchy is connected to many of the neighboring kingdom, their wealth slowly build up over the years to this point in time.

But why don't the other kingdoms and noble family within the kingdom of Evergreen itself don't scheme and plot for their duchy you ask?

Well within the kingdom of Evergreen there's only one other family other than the Welser and the Royal themselves, that family is the Windstad- they, the royal and the Welser are all related to one another through marriage- the idea that kind of give Leonard a chill down his spine- so their bond was quite close and tight with one another, they make up for what the other lacks- a mutual close family type of relationship kind of situation.

As for the neighboring kingdom- as to why they don't scheme or plot anything "yet" is due to the Duke of Ironwood duchy boasting a powerful military and almost everyone- yes almost everyone in the family was either a general or a commander of the battlefield that make quite a name for themselves in war.

Evergreen may be poor comparing to the other kingdom in term of amount of money they had to spare at the end of the year- that was because Evergreen spend most of it taxes on the military, making it quite formidable- that's why those kingdoms don't dare to do anything- for if they do and caught- well let just say the three families of Evergreen don't take kindly to stranger scheming and plotting against their relative and their potential livelihood income.

"Taking away a main source of income is worse than killing his parent they said," Leonard muttered to himself.

Then suddenly- an unbelievable thing just happen to him.

[Ascension Engine has been bound]

A blue hologram like screen popped up before him with those following words which then followed by another screen.

Leonard was looking at the screen and unnoticeably drooling.

But then it all changed.

[Message detected]

Greeting mortal, I am God- the one that sends you to the world you currently reside in.

It isn't all fun and game in that world, unfortunately- I will tell you now that a calamity will strike that world later in the future- what you decide to do is all depended on you- either save it or erase it from existence.

P.S you can activate the system through a mental command- or else other pitiful humans or mortal might call you crazy.

Leonard was truly speechless by that message from the being who calls itself GoD.

"Huh….so an all omnipotent being does has a sense of humor after all…"

However, his expression then becomes serious.

"So...a calamity will strike this world huh….and I will be the one who decides this world fate...such great responsibility….bring it on- I said that I will become a god who acts on all my desire- and I intend to fulfill it!" he muttered.
