Chapter 36: Feedback
After packing, Sam fell sound asleep on his bed, not waking up until it was late noon. After waking up, Sam went downstairs to the kitchen and warmed up the food Carmella had made for him. Chicken noodle soup, egg pudding, and banana bread for dessert. after seeing these foods in the fridge, Sam thanked silently Carmella for being so saintly.
Fater warming his food up, Sam set down his food on the table and began to eat before finally pulling out his phone. He was surprised to see many text messages from his friends.
The group chat.( later, I'll change them back to their nick names, but I have no time for that.)
Ajax: Holy shit, Sam, you're trending. That post of yours has made big waves.
Ashton: There are alot of articles written about it. Apparently, some of people were hoping for it because of the people they ship you with!
Marianne: Yeah, they paired you with literally any hot male celebrity you were friendly with! Don't worry, nothing bad.
Grace: A shipping war is happening on all social media. Sure, there is some hate, but it is just buried under than many people that support Janiel, Joliver, and Juven.
Marianne: I personally ship Janiel. I also ship Jurianne too though.
Sam chuckled before tyoing his response.
Jupiter: Daniel and I don't get along anymore.
Marianne: What?! You guys were all chummy yesterday though!
Jupiter: He drunkenly confessed that he hated me.
Marianne: wow. Are you sure that wasn't just drunken nonsense.
Jupiter: I've sort of suspected it, but I just didn't want to think about it and just tried to forget.
Grace: Aww, Sam, I'm on your side for sure.
Ashton: Me too.
Marianne: All of us are.
[Ajax has removed Daniel from the chat]
Sam chuckled and continued to chat back and forth with the group as they tried to cheer him up and proclaim their loyalty to him.
Only a while later did Sam finally check the comments again.
"If Sam is bi, does this mean I finally have a chance?"
"This only fuels my Joliver ship."
"The Juven ship will beat your ship."
"And the Janiel ship with beat both of them."
"Why are you guys so happy about this? It is disgusting."
There were many replies to that comment.
"We are happy about it because we support him no matter what and we aren't narrow minded."
"You are."
"Kids, be nice, they have their rights to say it despite them being wrong. To answer your question, we are happpy because that means that there are more options."
It was Sam's highest liked post and his followers had gone up by a couple of thousand due to the attention it was getting. Many celeberties liked to show their support, and improve their public image.
Then Sam did something that expressed him cutting off good ties with Daniel. He unfollowed him. Even though it doesn't seem like much, it would blow up as people made speculations on what happened between them. They were known as bestfriends to the public, and there weren't many celebrities that were as friendly as they were, so it was a big deal.
Very quickly, his fans noticed that the number of people he followed dropped. When they found out who it was, they were surprised to see that it was Daniel.
Instantly tabloids published the news.
"Jupiter is no longer friends with Daniel!"
"Afterparty effect!"
"The ship is over!"
Draven was scrolling through his feed when he saw Sam's post. He couldn't help but feel a little pleased. Draven was surprised by the feeling. Why would he feel happy about this? Draven found himself commenting on the post.
Draven: 👍
Again, the tabloids blew up!
"Draven has feelings for Jupiter!"
"Fans panic as a ship is destroyed and another it reinforced."
"What does Draven's comment mean? Good that Jupiter might be interested in him?!"
