I finally captured one tonight...
I've been waiting for 4 days in that single spot. Carefully I managed my water and food almost becoming too weak to get one. Just as I was about to give up on the hunt the perfect one became available. I kept myself in a small trench covered by bushes, bushes that were once bountiful with beautiful and fragrant flowers, but now cease to express any sign of life. It was almost too easy. She(?) came into view late at night, isolated from any other. I myself question the gender as it's a demonic being that's humanoid in size but lacked human features. She stood about 5'1, thick build, covered in reddish brown scales. She had curves where a woman's breast would be, shapely even but they did not have a definite form. Where child-bearing hips would be were obtuse protrusions that resembled sleek, flat bones. Where there would be a face was only a black void complete with two reddish glowing orbs. Various spikes and strange engravings coated her outer skin. They glowed bright blue in the faint moonlight. If not for my extreme hatred for these fiends, one could say it was almost beautiful. But enough about that. She fell into my trap.
She set down in a barely intact park bench, inches away from my camp. The moon hid behind the clouds as if it were helping me for my first hunt. There was no breeze, in fact, there were no sounds at all. It felt as if it was just her and myself in the whole world. I hold my breath. My heart beats too fast.

'Steady yourself asshole or else you're gonna lose your chance', I tell myself. It's my first hunt and my body is just too excited. The thrill of the kill overpowers my patience. I have to go now before I lose it.

I'm shocked she can't hear my heart racing. Not that it matters, it's too late now. I swing my shovel hard into where her head should be. With a loud *Thwack* her body goes limp, a foul odor permeates the area, and a viscous black ooze spills out. I quickly roll her into my setup of several heavy duty garbage bags and a roll of tarp. With some effort, I manage to wrap the body within, careful to not suffocate it. Assuming, that it breathes of course. With her secure, I quickly move to my base of operations.
*Ba-dump* *Ba-dump*
My heart steadies now that I'm safe. I look over at my prey. She sleeps atop a desk with a clear vinyl sheet, which I made up to resemble a bed. Upon closer examination yes, she could be considered a female in terms of human anatomy. Curves are in similar places but very different, engravements still softly glowing blue. None of that matters now...
I gently lift her dangling left leg into the air. This is a perfect position. Most perfect. I don't want to damage it, but I do most certainly want to hurt her in every way possible. I take out a dark cloth and carefully wrap the leg in it. There isn't much muscle and the flesh is generously soft. She doesn't wake up. Thank goodness, I don't have anything to knock her back out aside from using the shovel again. Well, it's time to get started...
I aim the blade of my hatchet at the upper thigh, just below where the hip should be. I really should have finished medical school but that's not important now. I raise the blade aloft.
*WHAM*
Her body gives a violent little jolt, and the same viscous, foul ooze spurts forth. I catch her severed leg before it hits the ground. She twitches and convulses like a large fish after being caught. Her body keeps twitching. I suddenly realize that my member is fully erect in my pants. I have to finish before I take care of business. I gently set her left leg on a cabinet and lift up her left leg. I grab another dark cloth and gently wrap it up. I carefully take aim and raise the blade again.
*WHAM*
Her body violently sprays ooze everywhere. Her twitching and convulsing intensify. I carefully place her right leg on the same cabinet. I can't stand the void staring at me. I forcefully affix her torso to the top of the desk. With both hands, I embrace this dark void and I twist as hard as I could.
*Craaaaaaaaack*
In terms of human anatomy, her clavicle vertebrae scrape against each other and once again, I'm assaulted by the ooze. I actually vomit from the stench, not due to disgust, but because there's nothing but the stench permeating the air. I get a hold of myself. There's more to be done. But I guess I might as well finish the face before working on the arms as I've already touched her head. Why yes, I should gouge those crimson orbs out. Maybe even let it seem like she was weeping blood? I need to send a message to the rest of her kind. Yes, that will do. I grab an awl and drive it into both orbs. The ooze slowly dripped out and flowed down her face as if she was crying. Perfect. My first hunt, my first art piece, my first message was complete. Now, to leave it in a public area where my art would be seen. This is only the beginning of my vengeance. My friends, my family, my life...
My first idea on how to progress from prelude to 1st chapter was terrible. I rewrote and republished it in a way to match the prelude yet tell a new story.
