Chapter 13: For Mei Ling, it's worth it.
2 hours of hiking later, Both Jack and Mei Ling were tired.
As soon as they reached the top, they could see magnificent bright little lanterns, they were everywhere, under the stars in the night with those little lanterns. Mei Ling felt warm in her heart even though she was tired she felt that the view was simply breathtaking.
They quickly entered the temple like hotel, Mei Ling directly rushed in her own room and entered to take a bath, there was even a beautiful hot spring with view on both the mountain and the stars in the sky. She quickly washed her body and quickly wore the floral dress that she wore this morning. Ah yes, Her Boss bought a bag and brought them over, he told her that it would a waste to not wear it at the top so. She directly dressed up once again in the bathroom.
As Mei Ling entered the bathroom, she didn't notice anything weird, it was a simple room with light decoration, even though again it was a kind of low-key luxurious. She didn't notice a big thing, the huge bed, the bed simply too big, it was a bed big enough the fit four people side by side.
Jack entered another room, he felt a bit nervous, but he quickly composed himself, Jack had a nice-looking suit inside his luggage, he quickly summoned the hotel manager and workers, who were all are agents. Yes, they were his agent, before going on this trip Jack decided that since it would be difficult to do what he wants if there was troublesome owner trying to change what he wanted to do so he directly bought the whole hotel.
He prepared the actors, they were all present and ready to begin the session, Jack quickly arranged a room for himself and he quickly took a short bath and dolled himself up, a stylish and a bunch of people were at his side and prepared him thoroughly, he didn't want one hair displaced.
"Is everything ready?" the coldness in his voice that was ever-present was simply powered up by one million. The voice brought a chill to every single person in the room. Jack wasn't in bad mood, even though he was disappointed himself multiples time today he was even more fired up by what's coming but Jack was extremely calm, his heartbeats were simply too high but in his exterior, it only made him colder.
The actors who prepared themselves were sweating but the manager quickly waved his hand indicating that they should position themselves.
"Sir, everything is ready, madam should leave the room within the next five minutes, the actors are ready and the pianist who would do the song is also ready, the dinner is already served for the actor so they can begin eating and decorating the room, every single place in this hotel is already ready and already started the operation" the manager had determined face as he announced. Jack couldn't see but under his stare, the manager's palm was sweating.
"Good, no mistake is allowed"
"Yes, Sir" as soon as these words left the manager's mouth he left the room.
In the dining hall, a soft sound of piano could be heard, the sound was simply perfected and every single thing in the room was one the theme classy Romantique.
Waiters were quickly serving dinner for the people in the room and every one of them had a concentrated look on their face, even though it didn't show very much nearly all of them were looking at the stairs that lead to the rooms of the hotel.
The dining hall was filled with soft chatting sound and a nice atmosphere.
Jack appeared by the stairs that led to the rooms above, he had a cold look on his face, his face was expressionless but just him being here radiated an aura of piercing coldness, no one dared to look anymore.
They all returned to their chatting, no one could tell that in reality all of this was scripted, even the dialogue that was ongoing on each table was scripted.
Above each table was a light lantern, and the lantern was tied to a golden string that was bound on the glass ceiling, yes, the ceiling in glass, originally this ceiling wasn't made in glass but in a slightly original styled temple ceiling with carved pattern but Jack found It too stifling so he broke them down and changed them to a ceiling and a wall filled with glass, there was light snow so it added to the atmosphere of the room.
The room was originally giving a strong feeling, and it gave an ancient feel but after the changes were made, it was simply filled with a lot of warmth and it added a certain romantic aspect in the room.
Even though the room was far too expensive and Jack made an extremely bad deal for having it build within four days, you have to admit that for a billionaire like Jack it was entirely worth it, Jack had a few simple thoughts when he was doing all of this. Was it worth it? Was Mei Ling worth so much? In his mind, Jack found that no matter how much money it takes, no matter how much it was worth, it was worth it as long as it's for Mei Ling.
Yes, no matter what it is, as long as it is for Mei Ling it's worth it. He didn't know why but he felt that as long as he could have Mei Ling he was ready to lose everything, and these feelings slowly brewed inside Jack's mind for five years and it finally solidified itself when he asked himself if it was worth it to spend so much on the complete change of this hotel.
If it's for Mei Ling, no matter how much it cost, no matter how must is it, It's worth it.
A simple thought, but it changed Jack so much.
