The projection around me broke down, leaving nothing behind as lost my concentration from the shock.
'What do you mean? She can create these pearls?'
'Not exactly hers looked like crystal…'
'Crystal? When did this happen, why I never heard of it?'
'It was back in the battle at the east when you and Hope were swallowed by the Alpha.'
Noticing that I wasn't talking anymore, he just continued his story.
'When she thought that she lost you, she screamed and started crying… at that moment, two things happened. The first was that her Cold Aura lost control and the second was that when she cried her tear got frozen… and when her tears fell, they froze the floor.'
I understood the meaning behind that statement.
'You think that those tears are like Janice pearls.'
'Yes, I have no way to be a hundred percent sure, but I think that they are similar.'
I nodded it was indeed similar as they both concentrated a part of her abilities in a solid form. The formation process was still not clear, and as Dante said, we couldn't confirm that it was the same.
"I need to see that moment…"
I subconsciously looked in the direction of that battle and found the vortex turning as usual.
I threw a couple of things to the floor, but instead of falling right away, all of them were slowed and took them a while to land.
Nothing…
Without taking another minute, a blinked back to the floor and with a step, I was at the corner of the street.
And I spend the remaining of the day seeing the current state of my powers…
______________________
I woke up a little worried about the group in the farmlands as there was a proving attack last night, from what Rose told I knew that they were able to handle it without any losses on the human side and minor losses in the beast side.
She didn't say anything about the injuries, and I already know how she does to avoid letting information out. Probably someone was hurt during the attack, I limited myself to ask her about Sophie and Hayley, and both of them seem to be okay, so I decided not to ask more about it.
Despite what happens unless they are in real danger, I can't go and help them, or all of this would be meaningless.
Since there was no use in worrying about the elite team in the farmlands, I focused on my current objective. Yesterday I didn't rest until it was late at night.
Because of my endurance and stamina abilities, I didn't really need to sleep that much, and most of the time I do it so I can spend time with Rose. She wasn't here last night, so I spent a lot of time seeing the current state of my strength, and I haven't noticed any rebound or side effects during last night experiments.
It seems that I would have no problems using most of my usual abilities and I plan to give a try some of the one that I use just from time to time (Mainly those related to my "Rules are meant to be broken" ability).
The morning went as I created the one I used to heal people and another that would make the time slower inside. Without my interference, both worked without any problem, proving me that I was most likely ready to go all out if I need to.
Well, not really, I'm in a better state than before.
Thanks to my leveled-up knowledge and to the use of visualization, the process when using my abilities was smoother than before.
The way I change the rules is more efficient, the time I need to set it up, it's a lot less, and I don't get as tired as I used to, which allowed me to set up more effects in the same area if I want to.
I checked the inventory and took out a piece of clothing. On a first glance, the dark green jacket didn't seem to have anything particular, but for the ones that created it with the remains of a blinking lizard, it was a pain to work with. It was harder than regular leather, and from time to time, the needles and tools that they used to work on it disappeared.
It was an interesting effect, and once it was finished, we tried to figure out how it worked without results.
I put the jacket on and thought that with visualization, I should be able to see the "Stats" of it.
The resistance of the leather should be a little more than mine, with all the improvements I have and not being this the main power of that lizard, this is a huge accomplishment.
Besides, space laws are more interesting than resistance. Since nothing is controlling its own blink, it kind of transfer the ability to something touching it. When something touches the jacket, (on the outside) it gets teleported away.
I'm not sure how often it happens since the chances vary depending on the object. I know that small objects like needles will be teleported away with something like a 10% chance, and the chances of teleporting a living being are almost zero.
Interpreting the numbers took a while, but thanks to me noticing this way to use Visualization, I thought of the stuff that the system has given us till now. Maybe I'll finally know if Rose's ring does something.
With the jacket and some of my weapons out of the inventory, I finally started to walk in the direction of the vortex…

[Rose's POV]
That night I left my post to rest for a while.
Despite us knowing the position of the Queen Bee, neither Blackie, Pinky or Blake wanted to leave this place.
It's the best choice?
I have no idea, from what I heard from Blackie each day it passes the Queen Bee's subjects become stronger, and even if they attack and we manage to repel them, it will only buy us time. Sooner or later, we will have to be the attacking side.
But the fact that we should be able to defend better here it's also true, Blackie might still remember that the last time they decide to rush into battle didn't end well.
I thought about going back and sleep with Spence, but I noticed that he was still awake and practicing. I changed my plan and went to a barn that the farm beast had lent us to rest. I looked for an empty pile of hay and laid down looking up while thinking…
A cat appeared and my side and snuggled onto me and purred.
With the purring coming from Tailless, I was able to relax and let my guard down.
I have Paws on the lookout and Pinky's network is the best intel source we could ask for.
I gave in and closed my eyes.
…
Not sure how much time has passed but an alert from Paws woke me up.
It took me a second to figure out where I was,
"Wake up, something is coming!!"
I woke the people near me once I figured out what was going on. Paws felt something was wrong while patrolling and decided to wake me up. Before I would have been reluctant to wake up everyone because of a hunch, but I have learned the power that instincts hold now in this world.
I'm not sure who it was the first that moved, but the answer came to me as I heard Milo's voice ordering everyone to get ready as soon as I spoke.
With a group of tired human slowly waking up, I grabbed a dagger and went outside to check what was going on.
The place was calm. Some animals could be seen patrolling at a distance, and others were sleeping in the grass. It appeared to be a quiet moonless night, but the brightness of the starts was enough for me to see around.
Paws appeared next to me, and we both surveyed our surroundings. Some rats around noticed the movement inside the barn, and all of them started to run around, the beasts were confused, and slowly the whole camp was awaken.
The wind made the grass sway, and some of the stars were covered by a cloud.
But it was when I noticed… that's not a cloud.
