The choice broke him, and it broke something inside of me too. As soon as he had finished speaking, four Nagas led the two bound Naga princes to the platform, and close behind them was black, wearing a simple white dress. Kodak rushed past me, and scooped her up in his arms, and her brother was not too far behind.
However her eyes, they were different and melancholic, especially the way they seemed to linger on the dejected frame of the Naga prince. Was it just me, or could I actually see remorse and affection, rather than the expected anger and hatred. Something was wrong, and with my new sensitivity to magic, I would have known if something was wrong with her. God I could already feel a headache coming on, there seems to be a lot of complicated shit abound. I placed my focus back to the Naga King and said to him.
"They'll get a fair trial that much I can guarantee you. Or at the very least I will give them a chance to prove their innocence."
now i know quite a few of you might be angry with what i did with Kodak's character. but i have a fever so lets just chalk it up to deliriousness. a month or two from now, ill start a sort of mini series, chronicling Kodak and Shao Tie's adventures. that should expose more of Shearath than what is currently known.
so let me know your thoughts and feelings about this chapter. dont hold back. thanks for reading and God bless you all/
