Chapter 204: Descent Into Darkness (IX): The Monster's Nurse Maid part 2

Soren was close by, but he was in his armored lion form, rather than his bike form. I quickly got on his back as we ran towards the giant wolf. I placed my shield and sword on my back, and pulled out the guns I almost hardly ever use. I really did not want to fight that thing at a close range.

Soren began moving around the monster, he was not attacking as that was left up to me with my guns. I was trying to figure out a way to bring this down without leaving myself weak or almost half dead. I was stronger, but the nature's backlash for using a weave against something so unnatural, is sure to pack a punch.

However, something peculiar was happening that I didn't for see, neither could I understand. Every bullet I fired at the monster, seemed to be leaving terrible burn marks all over it's body. Though those injuries are quickly healed up, it gave me an insight into this monster that might help me defeat it.
