Chapter 2053: Trapped With A Spider

Davis and Evelynn came to a stop as they stared at the inch-long radius rift further shrink until it was no more.

"Ah, it closed..."

Davis's mouth slightly hung agape, causing Evelynn brows to twitch, not because the rift in front of them closed but the way back had also closed.

"What now?" Evelynn asked.

They were now eternally stuck in one place if the rifts were to never open again.

Davis contemplated for a moment before he shook his head and waved his hand, using his soul force to collect the corpses he couldn't collect before, storing them all in his spatial ring. As he did so, he noticed a minute tear in space that one wouldn't even notice because it appeared comparatively stable.

"This rift hasn't completely closed yet, fortunately."
