The elements, by their own nature, want to improve their very own strength while suppressing their nemesis, and that caused the Great Rifts for centuries. The elements honed their power into a form of Spear that could be used in war and as a spirit for their nations. The Great Rifts ended and peach was achieved for everyone. no one could say for sure that another Great Rift would not happen again.
