"- Ok several things bothers me, first my life points .. I am only 30/160 ! Well I was impaled that explains that... Then, Mana ? Like in magic? This kind of mana ? Cool ... well we'll see that later. My endurance, well I guess the fight there has exhausted a little but 50 it's a lot I think. And finally my stats here ... Am I not above the usual stuff ? The basic stats for a normal person in an RPG is around 10 everywhere like my Luck there, but here I have personal stats like a character with a class. And that in several stats! 15 in Str, 16 in Dex, 14 in Agi ... and 18 in Vit ?! Well after that I do not know exactly what these stats affect exactly but they are high for a basic "player". So... Str it's not too hard to guess, the Dex I guess it's the accuracy of my shots or actions, Agi ... my speed and flexibility? Vit must influence my Hp. On the other hand Int and Wis I have no idea ..."
While speaking aloud by myself, I observe a little around me: it is always night and the moon gradually loses its color blood. It must have been out a short time, 30 or 45 minutes top. I am always near the stone I used for my ritual that almost cost me my life. There is, however, no trace of blood. Neither on me nor on the stone nor on the ground.

The blood does not flow contrary to what I think, but after reflection I tell myself that as the heart has stopped beating it makes sense.

I concentrate and imagine my energy going up the blood stream of the body of the kobold to then draw all the blood at once. Immediately I feel my energy decrease drastically and a headache appear: the operation costs me a lot of mana, leaving me with 30/115, but the result is spectacular. And disgusting. All the blood gushes out of the wound like a fountain but then forms a sphere facing me, the body then dries up, like a mummy. I completely drained his blood in one blow ... I mummified it ... I can not believe it ... instinctively my hands are placed towards the sphere and my body absorbs it tastefully as if it wanted to quickly get back the energy he lost. My joy is growing again. Absorbing a monster that has a higher level than me gives me a stats boost to choose from!
(- Besides, I forgot to distribute my points earned during my level increase.)
I take this opportunity to assign my points and look at my status then I decide to divide my 16 points like this: 5 Str, 5 Agi, 5 Int and one point in Chance. The first two to increase my strike force and my speed, the third because I want to see if it influences my mana gauge.
(-Actually it seems that a point in Int gives me 5 more mana.It is good considering how the mummification of a kobold almost exhausted my reserve, if I meet a monster bigger I will have to bleed it or to have a big reserve of mana to draw all the blood to me, same if I fight several creatures, if I want to absorb blood to cure myself it will take me more mana.I feel that I will have to distribute my points with attention ... well, if I survive)
It is on this last thought that I get up while taking the kobold dagger that I head for another weapon of interest to me: the dagger that I had brought with me. I catch it and use [identification] on it:

"- Maybe it need more? I do not want to bleed too much so I'll try on the next monster ...
