Chapter 113: Chapter 113: Ais Awakening
Ye Han spent then whole night reading a Light novel while looking at Ais from time to time, he wondered if he should make light novels when they go to a modern-day world. But he shrugs that thought off as he still hasn't decided what world they should go to next. it was like 5 am in the morning before Ais's eyelids started to tremble. Ye Han notices the movement so he went closer to Ais as she started to open her eyes, the first thing she notices was Ye Han who was staring at her. She said
"Who are you?"
"I am Ye Han, so little girl what do you remember?"
"I...."
Ais stop speaking as she remembers her memories, tears started to form in her eyes as she remembers how her dad fought and lured the Black Dragon back to the dungeon while her pale mother put her into a crystal coffin, she stutteringly said
"Mom....Dad...."
"There...There"
Ye Han hugged Ais as he gently rubs her back, while she cried. Ye Han was worried that her memories would make her very gloomy so he tried to think of a solution to make her happy. After a few minutes of crying, she looks at Ye Han as he said
"I have seen your mother."
Ye Han showed her his memories of how he defeated the dragon and saw her mother, Ais cried once more as she saw how her mother talk to Ye Han before resting in peace. Ye Han sighed as he stayed in that position for a few more minutes, he looks at gloomy Ais as her stomach growl. Ye Han carried her in one arm as he went to the kitchen and made breakfast for four people, Ais wraps her arm around Ye Han's neck as she slowly calms down.
Ye Han took a spoon of soup from the pot as he gave Ais a taste, this was the first time she tasted something very delicious. It decreases her gloomy state as she tightens her hand wrap around his neck, Ye Han just put the spoon down as the food simmers on the table and gently pat Ais's back as he whispers in her ears
"Don't worry, I take care of you from now on. "
Ais calms down as Ada went down while carrying Lili in her shoulder, Lili was still sleeping as she had her arms wrap around her neck while leaning her head onto Ada's shoulder. Ada said gently
"Good morning dear...Oh, my, who is this little girl?"
"This is Ais, she will be our second daughter."
Ais looks at Ada who was carrying Lili, Ada smiled as she gently put her hand on Ais cheek as she said
"Well Ais, welcome to the family."
She could feel the gentle and caring aura from Ada's touch and voice, she slowly lowers her guard as her gloomy state decreases. Ye Han placed the dishes onto the dining table as Ada put Lili onto her chair while waking her up, Lili opens her eyes as she saw a blond hair girl holding her papa on the neck. She exclaimed
"Papa! Who is that girl?!"
"This is Ais, your new sister....Be nice to her..."
Lili's eyes glows as she looks at her new sister when she thought how much fun her lifes gonna be with a playmate. Lili rarely went out as she was forbidden to go outside unless Ye Han or Ada went out with her, so seeing Ais made her feel joy as Ais looks at Lili with curiosity. Ye Han puts Ais onto a chair beside Lili as he went back to his seat beside Ada, he said
"Eat, you must be famished..."
Ais started to eat the meat dish, the moment she tried out the meat dish, her eating started to increase as her cheeks became like a chipmunk eating a lot of nuts. Ye Han and Ada chuckle as he pours her water, Lili feeling determination in her eyes she started to eat in the same speed as Ais, on the other hand, Ais could feel the rivalry of her new sister and started to increase her speed. Ye Han pours another serving in their plates as they drink the water in their glass. He reprand them in a gentle tone
"Slow down, this is not a competition it just breakfasts..."
Ada chuckles as their daughters lower their heads in embarrassment. after breakfast, Ye Han gave Lili a magic crystal as Lili marvel onto the bright dark blue crystal. He said to Lili and Ada as he carried Ais
"I will be back for lunch, please cook more meat dish."
"Yes, Papa! I will remind Mama to cook more meat!"
"Ok, darling. See you later *Mua*"
Ye Han gave Lili and Ada a kiss before carrying Ais to the commentary, he went to the grave keeper and bought a piece of land in the graveyard. He then erected two tombstones and wrote down Ai's parents with quotes " A loving father who gave his life to save his beloved daughter." while Aira's quote was "A mother who sacrificed her authority for her beloved daughter.", Ye Han then gave them a silent prayer as Ais cried a bit while holding one of Ye Han's hand. He said
"Let us wish that they will have a peaceful life in their next life."
Ais nodded as she continues to cry, Ye Han pats her head with his remaining hand. After a few minutes, Ais's eye started to shine with the determination of becoming an adventurer. As she always wanted to become like her father, a strong adventurer who saved the lives of people from monsters. Ye Han then carried her in his shoulder as they went to the Hostess of Fertility.
