Chapter 28: The Elven Race Joins the Fray, Part 2

"So these people are the ones Her Highness has talked about, Silvia?" asked Marvin doubtfully as he scanned the people with an unfriendly gaze

"Aren't these just halflings? Their bodies only contain about one tenth of Elven Blood. How's it possible for them to be the remainings of our Ancestors? Has her Highness made a mistake?" questioned another guard but as soon as he finished his sentence, a slap came out of nowhere before he was sent flying a few meters in the air

"Silence! You won't be allowed to disrespect her Highness! There's no mistake that they are part of our Mighty Elven Race even if their bloodline was diluted over the years! This time, i'll let it pass since we have only arrived, but next time, you'll be punished!" roared Marvin at the guard who bowed his head in shame

Ignoring Marvin's and the guards quarrel, Silvia turned around and looked at the people's bruised bodies and her beautiful face turned into a slight frown seeing the degree of injuries and the corpses of the people.

There was only one word to describe the Elven Race. Stunningly beautiful! Each and every feature of the people looked like it was carved from jade and as the group of people looked at them warily, they were at a loss of words as they looked at the Elves.

They have seen beautiful people before on their TV's, but these Elves were a notch above any other man and women they have ever seen in the past! The people immediately avoided the Silvia's gaze as a slight blush appeared on every mans face regardless of their age.

"First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Silvia, Silvia the Priestess of the Elven Race. I'm sure you have a lot of questions to ask, but before you do, please gather all the injured people at the front." introduced Silvia herself, before a kind and innocent smile appeared on her face as she softly told the people

Stunned, the people were at a loss of words before the Elder who was thrown away by Kathrin the Dark Elf, finally recovered a bit of his strength and urged them to gather together.

After a few words exchanged between the people, they immediately started gathering the sick, hurt and disabled people at the front, while two young man and the Elder struggled to bring Wang Wei's strong and heavy body before Silvia.

"What are your orders now, Madam Silvia?" asked the Elder softly in a respectful tone without any bad feelings for their age gap

"Move back a little. Marvin, i'll leave this to you."

As soon as she finished her words, Marvin respectfully bowed once to her before he moved closer to the group of people.

Seeing the man approach, the people were apprehensive for a moment as they all turned to look at the Elder who's body trembled slightly in excitement.

With his eyes closed, an ancient incantation started flowing out of Marvin's mouth as the grass around the villagers seemed like it came to life, before all the plants in the surroundings suddenly started trembling as a mystical green power flew visible to the naked eyes flew from all the plants around to the people.

As the power reached the villagers, their bodies relaxed as they fell into a feeling of euphoria before their injuries healed at a fast speed.

The bruises slowly turned into scabs before the scabs slowly fell to the ground, the broken arms and legs of some people slowly reattached themselves and the people could not even frown as the process was painless.

There were a few people whose legs, arms and even had an eye missing, but sadly, their missing parts could not be recovered.

Seeing this, Silvia sighed sadly.

"Looks like our powers were restricted so much huh..." murmured Silvia to herself before she took another look at the strange System that she was granted

"Level 25... is it? The last God did an amazing job creating such an array formation that covered the whole planet, offering the Humanity a way to get stronger. But wether the humanity will survive or not is still unknown."

Getting out of her own thoughts, she immediately signaled to a guard beside her.

"Yes, Milady?" asked the Guard, bowing in respect

"Summon the Wisps, Alfred. We will build our base here. Once the Wisps are done, tell Mark to bring the Dryads and the Druids, we will need their help." ordered Silvia in a calm tone

"Understood!"

Having received his order, Alfred went back through the portal to their planet.

After a few moments, Alfred came back before moving to the side of Silvia as strange lifeforms gushed out of the portal one after the other.

Sparkling globes that radiated immense spiritual power taking a deep shade of green as they illuminated the surroundings, these were the Wisps. They had no legs, no arms, but they still floated above the ground by about five centimeters.

As the Wisps came out, one could see the grass swaying wildly before starting to grow at a rapid speed under the Wisps.

The Wisps immediately dashed around Silvia's body as a melody of peace could be heard in the air coming from them.

A beautiful smile appeared on Silvia's face as she held each Wisp in her embrace, one by one before they slowly scattered in the forest that surrounded the village.

As soon as they entered the forest, the vegetation started growing at a very fast pace. The bushes grew bigger as they slowly grew spikes to deter enemies, the tree's became bulkier and their roots stronger and a myriad of flowers of unknown types bloomed everywhere the Wisps passed by.

Having reached different parts of the forest, the Wisps slowly assimilated into different trees as they offered their spiritual power to the trees nurturing them.

The people were looking at all the happenings im disbelief and amazement even forgetting to check their injuries that were almost healed.

There was one person who was basically on the verge of crying and that was the Elder. Small droplets of salty water formed around his eyes as he trembled in excitement.

"The ancient records in our village were right..this is exactly what it described..oh father, grandfather, how i wish you'd be here to see all this!"

Slowly regaining his composure, the Elder who's injuries were completely healed moved his wrinkled and haggard body before the Priestess, as he threw himself on the ground kowtowing.

Seeing his actions, Silvia remained silent as she looked at the man who's forehead was completely red as it dripped with droplets of blood. One could actually see the sincerity of the kowtows as the sound resounded in the air.

"Thank you, thank you for saving our lives, o mighty Elven Princess. If you didn't come, all of us would have died an unworthy death. Please, if you need our help, we will help you to the best of our powers." said the Elder in a very serious tone before turning to look at his people

Understanding wafted on the people, before each and everyone of them, young and d, woman or man, hurt or not, fell on their knees before kowtowing three times in the direction of the Priestess full of respect.

"Rise."

A calm and soft voice called out after the people finished their kowtowing as they immediately stood up from the ground not daring to disobey her orders.

"We, the Elven Race have always thought about you, the last bloodline of our Warring Elven God, Raikel. We tried our best to find a way for thousands of years to come back and rescue our brethren who were left behind after the Elven Race lost the war in the past. But because of the protection of the Last God, Earth has became like a fortress that one could see, but not enter. You used to have the purest bloodline of a God, but thousands of years in a planet with no spiritual energy depleted the bloodline inside your body to a tenth of what it was. For that, I, Silvia the Priestess of the Elven Race am sorry." spoke Silvia apologizing to the people in a sad tone

Seeing her beautiful countenance and innocent face displaying such a myriad of sad emotions the people's hearts softened considerably, as they could not blame her at all.

"What's done is done, my Priestess. I would like to ask you, is there a way for us to get stronger? My blade is itching for the blood of those damnable Dark Elves who killed my friends and my people."

A bulky figure holding a sword and a shield walked out of the group before he asked the Priestess in a serious tone.

Looking at the man's firm tone, the Priestess face turned into a smile.

"First, we have only hoped to find the remaining survivors of our last God and return back home. But now, things have changed. Since the Dark Elves are also here, we can't leave those traitors to get stronger. And...."

'The Last God was so kind that he even left a message to me before his death. If i don't pay him back and get back what's ours, how could i leave this place in peace??' thought the Priestess to herself as she was reminded of the message that she received once she activated her system

'Welcome back to Earth after a thousand years, my dear lovely Elven Race. I don't have a lot of time left, but i know why you are here. You're here for your Ancient Elven Queen's Inheritance , am i right? Well, please don't be sad, but the inheritance of that old hag is already in good hands. Hahaha, this Dimensional Battle sure is gonna be fun! Enjoy!'

-----------------

Pulse and Wang Tao were still engaged in their discussions not knowing that two highly dangerous races have already arrived on Earth.

In the distance could be seen Butcher excitedly running to them while waving with a happy face at Wang Tao.

"Boy, i'm glad you're here. I've got something interesting for you, do you wanna see?" asked Butcher happily

Seeing the lack of hostility on him, Wang Tao turned to look at Pulse who nodded at him with a slight smile.

"Let's go and see what he has gotten this time. Old Crazy Butcher always finds the most interesting lifeforms in the universe. I'm really curious." said Pulse who couldn't help but get excited

"Okay!" answered Wang Tao full of curiosity

Butcher on the other hand rubbed his hands in delight as he moved in front of them , while they walked at a normal pace to Butcher's dwelling.
