Write a reviewsome persevered because of responsibility, some persevered because of hatred, some persevered because of excitement, and some persevered because of love… And Fang Yuan’s answer? He was still expressionless, he continued to move forward relentlessly. I had once screamed, gradually, I lost my voice. I had once cried, gradually, I lost my tears. I had once grieved, gradually, I became able to withstand everything. I had once rejoiced, gradually, I became unmoved by the world. And now! All I have left is an expressionless face, my gaze is as tough as a monolith, only perseverance remains in my heart. This is my own, an insignificant character, Fang Yuan’s — Perseverance!
I tried this 4 years ago when it first came out, and it hasn't changed one bit from the last I read. The inconsistencies are way too distracting to be ignored, while the Author's use or classic cliches and tropes signify they're more of a gamer with a reading hobby, than an actual writer. If you want a more thorough review, look at the 1000 other bad reviews.
That you add Chinese cultivation to something like the skyrim saga seems to me an insult in itself, it is sacrilege against the best European fantasy saga on the planet, it is the model in which the rest of the games and stories were developed for years.
Rating up to chapter 150 of 750. The quality of writing - English is not my mother tongue, so I don't have much to say about it. For me, the novel is okay; if I can understand the meaning of the sentences, it's fine. Update stability: I didn't follow at launch; as far as I read, it was already written, so I'll say full marks. The development of the story, in my opinion, started out normal and got better, but after Chapter 88, it started to go downhill. There were some problems before, but they didn't bother me. However, after Chapter 88, these small problems joined with what, in my opinion, was a poorly written volume, making me wonder if I should keep reading (I'll get into spoilers later on). Character development, in general, is very good. Most of the characters are well done, with one or another personality trait that bothered me. One of which was in Mc. World development was well done, counting the original lore of The Elder Scrolls that already exists and is well-developed. The author managed to combine the original lore well with the one he created/modified, not that he was free of problems, but they are small. Now I'm going to try to explain things that bothered me in the novel (spoilers). It started out normal, as I said earlier, but the author started to develop a cat-like personality in Mc, which at first was okay, but after a while, it started to get boring. All the time, talking about cats, making jokes that got annoying. He even introduced that the soul or whatever of a cat is similar to that of a dragon in the world of The Elder Scrolls. He explained only that communicates with a dragon has the ability to understand a cat (the clan he belongs to communicates with specific animals, and with the closest races of these animals, like if I talk to a wolf if I try a little harder, I can understand a dog, and the author wants me to believe that he has to talk to a dragon in order to talk to a cat). About Mc revealing in jokes that he is reincarnated or something like that, I personally didn't see much of a problem with that, but some people might be bothered. Maybe there are some minor problems that I don't remember right now, but I'll try to talk about what bothered me the most when I started volume 4, the quest for Hircine. I felt like I was reading a filler; it wasn't well-written, the power of the Mc varied a lot. One day he is taken by surprise and runs away from fighting 4 werewolves, and the next day he is fighting the 4 original werewolves plus four new ones and 200 more enemies who were battling each other. Everything so that in the end, the story ends the same as in the game. He takes the armor from the mission (which, in my opinion, is useless since he would be able to enchant the items better if he did it himself), and the cat he previously adopted gains a Boost to become a bigger feline like a tiger. I felt that only served to fill, nothing else. After these events, the story proceeded normally until reaching around Chapter 125 when the Mc will meet his clan. I will try to give a summary from what I understand. The Mc has a prophecy that he will get 3 elder scrolls, and the Thalmor and other clans found out and want to kill Mc before he was even born. His mother gave him to someone else to raise him so he wouldn't be killed. Returning to the clan, his grandfather says that he preferred to abandon him as a baby because if they brought him back, the clan would be destroyed, and for that not to happen, he preferred to abandon the Mc and apologizes. What made me angry was that the MC simply accepted it. Not that I want the biggest family drama, but it was like a child's fight when one hits the other, and then they apologize, and everything is resolved. That's not children; it's 16 years of his life that the clan didn't do anything. The only one that showed up more during that time was his mother; otherwise, I saw nothing. I know that the novel has a comedy tag, but in my opinion, one of the problems of the novel is the excess of comedy. If you tell the same joke more than 10 times without much time between them, it will lose the fun. You practically turned Mc into a Deadpool in the novel, with many fourth-wall breaks, jokes with the enemies and friends. I think it's cool to play with The Elder Scrolls games, talking about bugs, glitches, mods, and other problems (what I said doesn't happen in the novel that becomes a problem). But I can't imagine the world of The Elder Scrolls as comedy, and a Deadpool in the world of Skyrim breaks the mood/immersion. Having a joke every now and then is cool, but for me, the world of The Elder Scrolls is a little dark. And about the excess of jokes (this is my theory; it may or may not happen). When you're writing the novel, it takes time. Let's say you release a chapter a day. For those who are following, it doesn't feel this excess of certain events. After all, from one day to another, I practically forget 50 percent of the details of a chapter if not more. But when you're reading several in a row, I feel this excess. I think it caused a lot of people to complain about certain things. A recommendation, I don't know if you do that, but it would be for you to reread the entire novel from time to time to see how it looks as a set without many breaks, which I think is the least a writer should do. An example: how many times the author of Game of Thrones has read the own book before publishing it, correcting errors, script problems, and other things (I don't know if this happened, but I think it must have happened). As you cannot and will not deliver a finished book, reading what has already been done can inspire new things or pick up things you forgot. There were some more boring events during this volume, but I won't say that; this review is too long. I'm not saying these things so that you don't read it. I recommend reading this novel; just be prepared for the points I mentioned or what other reviews said. I'm going to keep reading; with 500 chapters left to finish, I'm hoping that the story will improve again from now on.
oh author thee breaks between chapter hath killth mine feelings for i needth your updates to brightenth my week

Can anyone tell me if I can read this fanfic without having played the game?I don't want to get totally lost in the story....................................
I read this book some time ago, it was really good, but I took a break from reading and forgot what chapter I'm on It was a little after he met his family.

Reveal SpoilerImpressive writing for someone who doesnt speak English as a first language. However, if you are looking for quality, look elsewhere. Plot plausibility and reason is thrown out the window to create an anime-esque novel about Skyrim. The plot holes are numerous, the main character is borderline unlikeable (he’s a furry/zoophile, yuck) and characters are one-dimensional and also equally unreasonable. Elves that live hundreds of years lack any sense of maturity, and for being a 35 year old lawyer in his past life, the MC is also severely lacking in that department. Author tries hard to create comical situations, but it comes at the expense of any cohesion or logic. This is something that you would expect a cringe anime watcher to write with various references to overused memes like “LINKU STARTU” (I should have stopped reading there, I really felt like it). Author puts in a lot of effort to make a lore-friendly-ish story that integrates a lot of characters from the game. Unfortunately, the terrible character personalities detract from the story so severely that it is nigh impossible to finish even 20 chapters. TLDR: Author put in lots of effort, very commendable. Characters suck, don’t read if you want something that is not purely “comedy” for the sake of comedy.

so I have no idea what's in skyrim, so I'll have to go back to Jacksepticeye or Markiplier or even Pewdipie to know any thing abit.
I've read this story a few times. its one of the best skyrim fanfics. not saying much since there is only a few decent ones and its definitelynot the best. The Lore delved into is amazing tho, the origin and creativity at designing the beginning character and plot was awesome. however, the author wanted this MC to be unique and used a lazy method to do so. he gave him a cat fetish, thats it. embarrassing, i know. He also gave him angry arrogant women you honestly want to see dead. you know the type that only talk to one man, no friends, and think they are better than everyone. gag. Also, the logic the author forces us to swallow to justify the MCs idiotic actions sometimes is just a mess. The author even reaches so low as to fake a death for some shock factor from the audience, definitelya low point. author was probably going thru real world problems at the time. and also, thats how you know an author is running on fumes. Honestly if this story had an amazing editor or someone to stop the author from some of his mistakes we'd have an unbelievable story on our hands. instead of spending time on nonsense then still following cannon for all the major quests and factions, which honestly shows how wrong the author priorities are when concerning the stories quality. Sad seeing a story not reach its potential but its still worth the read. just get ready to cringe at all the pomp and nonsense that comes with an author like this.
I definitely enjoy your novel . I hope to read more of this story in the future author. stay safe
A brilliant story set in Tamriel that follows the lore of the elder scrolls but starts before TESV showing brilliant planning both in for the main character and for the Aurther leading to me binge reading the 695 chapters in 10 days.
THE FIRST CHAPTER WAS GREAT, THE STORY OS GOOD OVERALL BUT IT NEEDS TO BE EDITED REAL BAD. PLEASE CONSIDER EDITING IT AGAIN.
I’m gone guess I just need to get something done and get something else done ✔️ then I’m done lol lol I’m just like a little girl 👧 I can’t remember lol 😂 just like
