Chapter 10: Chapter 10 First day
Stellar mansion Training room two years after arrival
"And that's all you need to know in terms of theory for your powers, now I would like the both of you to review your powers and figure out your preferred fighting styles after that we will start some practical training" Jonathan said to Jack and Ava as both of them focused on books Jonathan had given them for learning how to use their powers. "Give us a while and we will arrive at the training grounds once we have decided" replied Jack in a sensible tone Jonathan nodded as he left the two of them to get ready for the real training. "So what do you think?" Ava quietly asked Jack "Well seeing as speciality will be with katanas i think it's best that I shape my fighting style into something more offensive in terms of power as well as focusing skills into blades for the primary style, my energy power on the other hand will be more suited for support power by using it to enhance my power and body perhaps also as secondary attacks it should also come into use for controlling the world around me and creating pure energy items" replied Jack as he started to get into deep thought. "Fair enough, I think my power will have to be used in a stealth style with it mainly linking with me to be fast whilst using it seeing I don't focus on head on fights as much as well as that my power will come in handy for support as well" Ava said as she also got into deep thought. The both of them then decided to get up and make their way to the training ground.
Once they arrived they saw Theo who had buffed up quite a bit and was very skilled in all styles of fighting. Theo who had not joined Jack and Ava whilst they were learning with Jonathan had dedicated his time into getting stronger and prepared for the coming threats that he would most likely have to encounter. "Before I can get to work showing you how to use the powers Aaron had given you Theo is going to train so you can get your physical states into a much better state" Jonathan said as he began to leave the room. "Wait what?" Theo replied in a confused tone "In terms of basic fighting and raw strength you far excel than me at this point though with my overall power I am better so don't get an ideas about being stronger than me" Jonathan replied quickly as he left.
"Well Theo I guess it's up to you for now" said Jack as he tried to encourage Theo to help them. Theo looked at the two and nodded "Very well young Master Jack and Lady Ava, the two of you have been already training your skill in weaponry and both of you know how to fight far better than I and in terms of your powers i'm not the man for that so I guess i'm just going to have to get you both fitter" said Theo as he tried to grasp what he should do. "So then what do we start with?" asked Ava as she tried to help Theo get a better understanding of what he should do next. "Well just having you exercise relentlessly would be easy but I would rather have a fist to fist sparring match with each of you so i know what specific areas i have to improve for each of you" replied Theo as he got into a battle stance. "Well ladies first" said Jack in a jokey voice. "Such a gentle man" replied Ava in a sarcastic tone.
Ava rushed at Theo with a straight forward punch to his face. Theo fell back grinned leaped forward and delivered a constant attack rush with his fists, Ava got her arms up and tried to block but it was futile with Theo's monstrous strength as he threw her back onto the wall. She slowly got up but not before Theo delivered a sudden punch to get forcing her to get back down, blood was coming from her mouth it was evident he wasn't holding back Ava realsing that relying on strength soley would be a bad idea suddenly delivered a leg sweep to Theo in hopes of bringing him down. Theo was on his knees for a second but suddenly jumped over Ava and kicked her in the back launching her to the other side of the room. He walked over clenching his fist as she got up and delivered the same type of attack she started the fight with and knocked her out completely.
"Your turn Master Jack" Theo said as he picked up an unconscious Ava and took her to the spectators seats. Jack got up ready for his fight unlike Ava he was much more ready for a fight against Theo. Both of them got ready to right.
Standing in defense positions both of them stood there making no move, suddenly the two of them started walking around the training grounds until Theo stopped. In an instant Theo jumped onto and off the wall flying into grabbing him and putting him a headlock. As Jack got a taste of Theo's immense strength he started to struggle, however he was prepared to fight dirty. He kicked Theo in the pride bringing him to his knees suddenly he kicked his head with all his might pushing him against the wall then he ran up to him and delivered a rush of punches and kicks as Theo stood taking them all. Jack decided to jump back he clenched his fist, both he and Theo smiled. Then in less than a second Jack approached Theo with the intention to end this fight suddenly Theo caught his fist without Jack even noticing Theo moving, Theo turned putting Jack into the wall and started delivering hits so hard it felt like Jack's body was shattering. He stopped as Jack fell to the floor breathless.
"You both fought well your styles are very perfected for a normal human being, after this fight I believe I am going to have to increase your endurance and strength immensely though i have to say your speeds are quite impressive. In simple terms all I mean to say is it's going to be relentless exercise from here on out" Theo said with confidence as he helped Jack up. "Alright then, i'll take Ava to her room and explain what's happening next you talk to Jonathan and start preparing a schedule" Jack replied as he picked up Ava as he breathed heavily and walked out the room.
Jack brought Ava to her room lying her down in bed and then taking a seat waiting for her to wake up. Worried that the fight may have been too much for her he set off to get one of the mansion's medics, just before Jack left Ava got up saw him and asked "What happened" she slowly asked after trying to get up. "Well we both lost against Theo thats a given, in the end he decided that were gonna be just relentlessly exercising until we're strong enough to fight efficiently" Jack briefly replied as he tried to make sure Ava was alright. Ava suddenly got in distress as she noticed that Jack's fist was bleeding "Jack your hand!! Oh no we need to fix this immediately" she screamed as she frantically went through her draws to find a medical kit. "I didn't even notice this happen it seems Theo is much better than I anticipated but don't worry it's just a small flesh wound" Jack said as Ava started wrapping bandages around him "Just promise me you won't get yourself killed without you…" she pleaded. "Without what?" Jack asked, Ava's face suddenly went red as she hastily replied "Without you we can't win this". "I know that's why we gotta keep training" Jack replied proudly as he stood up prepared for the next 3 years. "Question, what happens after all this is over, do we go back to our own time and continue as life once was?" asked Ava in a confused tone. "Well i guess, i'm going to have to rebuild the mansion there for starters maybe we could get to work on that promise we made about the orphanage all those years ago" Jack replied in an instant. Ava suddenly held herself on Jack's back and smiled. "Jack we have tomorrow off would it be too much trouble for you to take me out tomorrow?" Ava asked Jack in seductive tone "Sure might be a fun way to spend our time off from all this" Jack replied in a positive tone. Jack momentarily fell back and fell asleep he was completely exhausted from the fight earlier, Ava chuckled and whispered "Well you can stay here for tonight" as she lay alongside him in the bed and fell asleep.
