Chapter 107: Gathering in Silver City
"Go to them and ask if their leader is called James. If it is, say that I am waiting for them, and lead them to this location." Francis ordered after hearing his subordinate news.
"Yes sir!" The man saluted, before rushing to his horse and disappearing in the horizon.
"It has been months, I wonder how you are doing now James." Francis started to wonder to himself.

"Sir, someone is approaching us." One of the recruits said to James as they were approaching the city.
It took another minute before the person on the horse finally arrived. "Are you together with someone called James?"
"Who asks?
"I had to give the greetings of Sir Francis."
Hearing the name Francis, James rode forward and spoke up, "I am James. Where is Francis now?"
"Please follow me sir."
It took the convoy roughly 10 minutes before they arrived at the campsite of Francis. It looked rather busy, as 100 soldiers were stationed at that location.
Entering the camp, James ordered his men to start building up their camps, as they would join this army. As for himself, together with a few soldiers, he entered deeper into the camp and went towards the tent where Francis was located.
"James, how are you doing? It has been ages, you disappeared without telling us anything." James was welcomed in front of the tent by Francis.
"Francis! You sure look good. How have you been? Sorry about not mentioning anything before leaving." Dismounting, James walked towards Francis. After they greeted each other they entered into the tent.
James started to explain the situation that he was in. he had already mentioned some of the points in the letter he wrote, however now he had the chance to explain it in more detail. He first explained the reason for his sudden disappearance, as it was the instigator to most of these problems. Afterwards, he started to explain his live in Valencia and the things that happened.
After hearing the story Francis could only say, "That bastard. That he even dared to do such a shameless thing."
James' face was rather sad. However it had a strong hatred towards Edgar, as he told story. Looking up to Francis, James asked, "Can I expect on your support in this matter?"
"I never liked that Edgar guy. And apparently the Herewealth family does not have a too good reputation going on. So my family would not oppose me of helping you out." Francis walked towards the table and continued, "I have 100 soldiers with me. They are all part of the Bridges' family and are directly under my command. Moreover, I will also pay for the costs of these soldiers, so do not worry about a thing."
"Thank you. I will be in your debt. With this, we will have a fighting strength of 189 men. This is definitely a force that would pose a threat. It would always be better to get more, for that, I will talk today with the family heads of Christopher and Warren's families. I hope that they can aid us as well in this endeavor." Taking a breather, James continued, "How are they actually doing? Was you able to contact them when you arrived in Silver City?"
"Yes, they are aware of my presence here. They should arrive soon actually. They visit daily, hoping for you to arrive. They cannot wait to join up as soon as possible either."
At that moment a soldier rushed into the tent, "Sir, Sir Christopher and Warren have arrived. They will be here any moment now."
"That is some good timing. We sure have to celebrate our reunion." Francis said as he made his way to the entrance.
James followed him. Just before he left the tent he heard a similar voice talk up "It seems that you have increased your troops. Are these reinforcements from your family?"
James exited the tent and joined the conversation, "No, they are my men. How are you doing Christopher? Warren?"
"James! Long time no seen. How are you doing?" With that, they entered the tent again after some greetings.
James retold the story that had happened after his disappearance, to Christopher and Warren. Both of them had a similar expression as Francis. It was a shameless that had happened. Because of this, they were willing to help James out even more.
"So, what about your families? Are they willing to meet me?" James asked.
Christopher was the one to reply, "My family has always tried to find a way to weaken the Herewealth family, and this is a good cause. They will meet you, I will ask for a meeting tomorrow, so I think that in the coming days the meeting will be arranged."
Warren was in the same state, he would convey the arrival of James to his family and wait for a date that they could meet.
That night, before Christopher and Warren left, they had a celebration, such as Francis wanted.
