Chapter 4: Chapter 118: Secret Admirer 3
NaNa liked to tease Jun Liu, that's for sure. Seeing how Jun Liu stopped reacting, NaNa tried to think of something else to make him respond to her teasing.
Birds of the same feather flock together; Yi Fei was not the only one transparent when it comes to expression. Maybe since NaNa spent too many time with Yi Fei, her feeling was easily seen by Jun Liu.
"Don't test my patience. Now, if you please just take your tail and go" Jun Liu was not used of being teased by a woman. He did not know how to deal with women.
"Why? Did your heart beat faster when I tease you? Cause I'm about to make your heart go crazy" There were only two spans of distance between NaNa and Jun Liu since Jun Liu stopped resisting.
Jun Liu looked at NaNa, and then he looked at the bouquet of roses on NaNa's lap. "Why should my heart beats faster when you tease me? Why don't you just go and play with someone else like… I don't know. Go and play with the person who sent you this flower or your fans out there. Now, take away your tail please."
NaNa could feel a hint of jealousy in Jun Liu's words and that made her became more enthusiastic to tease him. She enclosed the gap of their face to a span away.
"Some guys sent me confession I guess but what should I do? I still want to tease you" NaNa smiled because she thought that she had made Jun Liu flustered until he was rendered speechless.
The truth was, Jun Liu was not speechless. It's just that, something snapped inside him when NaNa openly bragged that she received several confessions from guys. It was seldom of him to say or do something irrational but when people who usually could tolerate a lot of things snapped, they snapped hard.
"You always try to test my patience by doing this because you think it was fun to test my limit. You thought that I'm a nice guy who wouldn't do anything to you right? But have you seen a perfectly normal guy, a mere mundane, resists the temptation to take a perfectly beautiful girl when she is acting like she's offering herself on a silver platter? Jun Liu articulated each word clearly.
NaNa felt like she stepped on a red zone. She wanted to retreat because she thought that she was in a dangerous situation – but it's too late.
"Because I don't" Jun Liu leaned over, grabbed both of her cheeks and kissed her by surprise.
NaNa was too shocked to do anything. By the time Jun Liu let go of her, she was staring right into Jun Liu without saying anything. It was her who supposed to be teasing Jun Liu, but now the table had turned.
"Serve you right. Don't play with fire." Then Jun Liu pushed NaNa's forehead by using his forefinger.
When Jun Liu pushed her forehead, NaNa came back to reality. Jun Liu just kissed her? What does that make them now? There were a lot of things going on in NaNa's mind. She couldn't think straight, and suddenly she felt over conscious of Jun Liu after the kiss.
Then NaNa did the other way out she could think of – she ran out of the car.
Jun Liu looked at NaNa's back that vanished quickly from his sight. It was doubtful of him to do things like this. It was not as if he was entirely at fault in this situation.
A few minutes earlier, when he sent Ying Yue to her piano class, he asked Ying Yue about the meaning of the Japanese characters written by NaNa on his pocket. Like what she did previously, Ying Yue snapped a picture of her uncle's pocket and then she sent it to her friend who could read Japanese to help her translate for it.
Shortly after Ying Yue sent the picture to her friend, her friend translated it for her. When Ying Yue got the translation from her friend, she was very excited, and she told her uncle about it.
"Uncle Ajunie, NaNa-Sama said that you are hers" Ying Yue started imagining things that could happen when Jun Liu and NaNa were dating.
Jun Liu was surprised to receive an indirect confession like that from NaNa. That lady had been playing with his emotion since the first time he saw her.
When Jun Liu tried to destroy Ying Yue's overly active imagination, Ying Yue said something that made him rethink of his feeling towards NaNa.
"Flirting is teasing, and teasing builds anticipation."
That exact words made him rethink that did he not anticipating any teasing from her? Because to be honest, he quite likes it when NaNa teased him. Is that what they called anticipation? So, the whole time when NaNa is teasing him, was that counted as flirting?
Jun Liu has never been in a relationship before. He didn't know what is flirting encompassed in a normal conversation.
But one thing he was sure about was that he was not going to apologise for the kiss. Jun Liu felt that the kiss was right and he was not going to apologise for kissing NaNa by surprise.
So, should he build anticipation for NaNa too? It would be unfair if he were the only one having an expectation.
The bouquet of flowers was left on the driver seat. Even when NaNa was running away, she didn't forget to put the flower nicely on the car seat. That alone showed how much she liked the roses. Damn flower.
Then, there was still the gigantic dragon's tail at the backseat of his car.
Jun Liu heaved a sigh. He went out of his car, took the bouquet of roses with him on his left hand and then he carried the dragon's tail on his right side.
Since NaNa came to him for the tail, he concluded that NaNa might need it for her cosplay. It would be bad if for her reputation as a top cosplayer if she went off without her full costume and Jun Liu didn't want to get blamed for that.
As for the roses, Jun Liu threw it into the dustbin while he was on his way to the convention hall. If NaNa got mad, he would get her a bouquet of flower hundred times better than the one sent by the secret admirer.
