Chapter 16: A Bet With Senior Adventurer
Before everyone's eyes, their Goddess is acting so servile that they even opened the door for the unknown man in front of them. How can the adventurer proud of their strength, especially the man who harbor feelings towards them can stand it anymore? Finally one of them opened his mouth and calling out this unknown youth.
"Hmmmm? What's the matter?" - Ranata
"Going in and out as you wishes, not even introducing yourself to your senior here. Do you think this Guild is your home? Aren't you newcomer too arrogant? Have no one teach you some manners?" – Senior Adventurer
"Oh, right. Where is my manner. Everyone, sorry for the late introduction. My name is Avadhi Ranata. From now on, we will be your colleague. Best regard! Oh, please excuse us now." – Ranata
"A noble!?"
Hearing his name, the crowd gasped. In this world, only nobles and upper echelon in society have name consisted of two words or more. One is a surname, or a family name, while the second word is their own name. So, hearing this man said his name in two words, surely the crowds who mostly consisted of commoners cowered for a bit.

Pointed by Louge, Althea and Lumina show a displeased expression. As wise dragons, how can they not know what is this fella up to? He is intentionally stirring up trouble in hope to impress them of his power and authority as a senior adventurer. So disgusting. One should know that in this world, there are people who can be offended, and people who CAN'T. And their Master is absolutely belongs to the latter. Is that fella nuts? Or did he knock his head somewhere and has screw loose? Whatever it is, in their opinion, he surely doesn't love his live anymore.
Trying to speak up her displeasure, Althea is stopped by Ranata with a silent gesture via Mind Link.

Now that their Master has given his verdict, they can't help but shaking their head in wry smile. Having tasted their Master's prowess before hand, although it's full with suspicious power and unspeakable matter which can't be told to the others, how can those ladies doesn't know what kind of future this fellow will have from now on? Oh, so bleak and pitiful....
Letting the door leaves from their hands, they choose to wait and see what will happen from now.
"Fix my manner? What did I do wrong? I have introduced myself and I have excused myself before because I don't waste to waste my time and everyone here. Isn't it you who purposely finding faults here?" – Ranata.
"Hmph! You don't know your fault? If I say you can't leave then you can't leave! As our junior, you should listen to us your senior!" – Louge
"Okay, stop beating around the bushes. We got nowhere here. State your business or I will leave now. Time is precious, you know?" – Ranata
"You....! Fine, seeing how you are so arrogant, why don't we have a duel here! Show us if you have the strength! Everyone here is the witness. Do you dare?" – Louge
Now this is what he wanted. Ranata let out a chuckle and laugh at him for a while, before talking.
"Duel? Good. But what I will get there...? How about a bet then? I have a Platinum Coin here. How about we bet it on our duel? Do you DARE?" – Ranata
After saying that, he sent a message to Althea and Lumina via Mind Link. He explains his plan and gives his instruction to them. They nods their head together as their response and ready to take action.
"A bet? Hmph. I accept. Here is my Platinum Coin." – Louge
Lumina immediately come to him and take his coin. Louge's heart skipped a bit when The Goddess in his heart is getting close to him. Especially after smelling her fragrance and seeing her gesture close up, his face become flustered and his mind is going wild in pink color. Meanwhile, Althea take Ranata's coin and come to meet with Lumina in between the two man.
Together, they make a declaration.
"We have confirmed that challenger Louge wanted to have a duel with our Master! Everyone, please follow us to the Plaza to watch the duel!" – Althea let out a cheerful smile to the audiences.
"For those who want to bet who will win, you can bet with us. Both of us have a dozen of Platinum Coins. We bet all of them on this Man's Victory. Those who wanted to bet against us can state the bet and pay only one Gold Coin." – Lumina said the betting condition with clear voice to everyone present.
There are around 40 people in this Guild building right now. If each of them make a bet while they only need to pay one Gold Coin and then win, they will receive a dozen Platinum Coins, that's worth 120 Gold Coin shared together. That mean, if they win, they will get three gold coins while betting only one. Which one of their eyes who doesn't get bright with this sweet offer?
Everyone followed the girls and the dueler to the Plaza. When they have arrived, they each pay a single gold coin to The Two Goddess. Money aside, just this chance to be close up with those beauties when they give out their gold is already a reward in itself. Nobody minded when a crowd of people who heard about this event comes to the plaza and also betting their Gold with the two ladies. Counting the gold they have collected, the number totaled to 108 Gold Coins. Both Althea and Lumina shakes their head with amazement in their eyes.
Their Master is so meticulous! So cunning! Just from someone wanted to make a trouble with him, he can turned the situation around and reap a huge benefit here! As for the duel, they have complete confidence that their Master will absolutely win. With that, they would gain a Platinum Coin and 108 Gold Coins just from this duel. Never in their career as Adventurer did the two girls have gained this much money in just one day. That's worth almost the same as a dozen Platinum Coins they said earlier which is an accumulation of their work as adventurer for months! And all it took is just a single moment.
They really get it big this time!
