Tian Feng flew toward her to catch her from falling down. Li'er was feeling excited. This was her first time flying on her own power. Tian Feng also wanted to test out his power but there's nothing for him to test his power on at the moment.
The man who was observing them sensed that they had left so he left immediately to report.
The duo wanted to look for Da Jing but they noticed that the connection between them was cut.
Under normal circumstance, this connection could be maintained forever as long as they were within the 10 kilometres radius. Yet, at this moment, they couldn't feel Da Jing's presence anymore. This could only mean one thing. Da Jing was either further than 10 kilometres from them or he was dead.
However, the former has a higher possibility. The duo was flying around and for a moment, they didn't know what to do next.
After much hesitation, they finally decided to visit the researching hall first. After all, they were the members there. It would be easier to ask for information too.
Descending down in a corner, they started to head for the researching hall. Upon reaching there, it was a bit silent as the sun has just risen. An elder who was attending there noticed them and he quickly walked to Tian Feng. "Tian Feng? Where have you been for half a year?"
Tian Feng didn't expect that someone would notice of his absence. Thus, he embarrassedly said. "I was in closed-door cultivating."
As a member of the hall, he wasn't required to come by every day. However, he would still need to come once a month at least. To suddenly disappeared for an entire 6 months, it was only right that someone would look for him.
When the elder heard that, he nodded slowly. He stared at Tian Feng from head to toe. A moment later, he was shocked and said. "You have broken through to stage 3 within 6 months?"
After which, he looked as if he had just realized something. The elders quickly beckon the duo to follow him into his room.
I wonder what would be his expression if he knew that I actually only took a little more than 3 months to reached this level?
In the elder's room...
The elder took out 2 million energy pills and give it to Tian Feng. Tian Feng took it and thanked him. But, he was feeling bitter in his heart.
To think that 6 months accumulation only earned him 2 million. After which, he asked the elders some questions to catch up on what going on around them.
One of the news shocked him. Apparently, the inner competition was suddenly fast-forwarded by 2 years. In other words, he would have to fight in one and a half year. The elder also didn't know of the reason behind.
