Chapter 6: Wind Movement Technique
While the duo was practising and exchanging words, He Ming was also there not too far away. She listened in and two streaks of tear fell on her cheek. She muttered with a soft voice that nobody can hear, "Tian Lang! We did it."
6 hours later...
"Son! You are really a true genius. You learn what I have spent years learning in 4 hours. I have nothing more to teach you about the first level. When you reached the second level, I'll teach you how to convert Qi into the fire."
"Okay, father!"
"Little Feng! Although you are clever, I must remind you to not rush things."
"Yes, father! Don't worry, I will take care of myself."
Returning to his room, he lied down. [I have learned of many ways to use my Qi from father but nevertheless, I still have no battle skill or defensive skill. My points are not enough to buy any good book either.]
His Celestial Immortal Art is strong even if it's only at level 1. His father only has average cultivation so he didn't have many things to teach except for some daily uses of Qi like infusing Qi into a punch, reshape Qi into a shield...
He shook his head and decided to sleep. He had only started cultivate yesterday so he should not rush it.
A while later, he sat up again frowning. [Why can't I fall asleep? A child is supposed to sleep a lot, right?]
Suddenly, he remembered that some MC from those novels said that cultivating is similar to sleep and can replace sleep. As such thought appeared in his mind, he decided to try it out. [Since I can't fall asleep anyway, I'll just cultivate until morning.]
Tian Feng sat down then started cultivating. He felt refreshing. [Maybe cultivating might really be able to replace sleep. If it's really so, I wouldn't need to sleep anymore. hehe]
It's always a programmer's dream to never sleep. Since he was a programmer before, he also has that tendency. It has been a long time since Tian Feng last pulled an all-nighter.

[Level 2! I reached level 2! haha... Who said cultivation is an arduous process!] he didn't open his eyes but continue to reinforce his foundation.

[A skill book???] He was so excited that he almost stop his cultivation to check it. But he was able to hold himself back otherwise he would suffer a backlash.
[How lucky!]
Somewhere in the dark, the female chuckling. "Pretty good! You resisted it. I'll reward you by giving you a better one."
He was looking for a skill book and system just gifted him one for free. [Will I get a gift each time I level up? If it's so, then I wouldn't need to buy any book. That would save me tons of points. But the system is so stingy, will that really be the case...]
The female knitted her brows, "Hmph! You dare say I'm stingy. I'll take back my book. Just use that skill for the time being. You can only blame yourself for badmouthing me."
He immediately checks out the new skill book after he reinforced his cultivation.

When he sees that it's just a silver tier, he was a bit disappointed but on seeing the effects of the book, his eyes lit up. [Move as fast as the wind and no wind resistant.] He then spent 100 points to see the side effects.
After reading the side effect, he sighed and shook his head with a faint smile. [Ineffective against wind users on the same level or higher. Cannot be used underwater.]
He thought to himself, [There's no skill without weakness. Consider its advantages, this should be acceptable.]
There are a few methods to remove side-effects. The first one is to use skill fusion and fuse two skills together. The second one is to use points to upgrade skill tier. The higher, the better. It's said that only God Tier skills are perfect. The third one is to comprehend the skill and resolve the side effect manually.
[It now makes sense. Even the Celestial Immortal Art which is in Heaven tier still has side effects.] He didn't view its side effects for now in order to save points. Currently, there's nothing he can do even if he happened to know of those flaws.
Either way, it's the same whether he knows or not. So it's better to save points for now.
The celestial immortal art is the one book that he picked up from among the many books in the shop so he would still cultivate it even if there are some flaws. After he had cultivated it to the max level, he would be able to do something about those flaws and it wouldn't be too late to view it then.
As his strength grows stronger he would be able to earn more points. However, right now these points are hard earned thus spending thousands of them to learn about the flaws that he wouldn't have the ability to do something about doesn't seem worth it.
Tian Feng didn't hurry to practice the 'Wind Movement'. His parents are sleeping and he thought that practising movement would require him to move around. He decided to wait until morning lest he would disturb them.
The truth is practising skill would not require a cultivator to move their body. They just need to move Qi inside their body.
In the morning, he stood up feeling refreshed. It's better than sleep. However, I still need to sleep sometimes. Tian Feng was cultivating until morning.
He told his mother that he wants to practice at home. They hesitated for a moment before eventually acceded to his request. [Don't worry about me!]
The path of cultivation is filled with danger and they can't always protect him forever. Thus, they agree to let him practice alone so as to learn to be independent. With this thought in mind, they went to work.
After his parents left, he went to the backyard and excitedly bring out the skill book. He wanted to practice by himself to save points.
A long while later...
He lay down on the ground looking discouraged. [Am I really that stupid?]
His clothes are tattered and his face is full of dirt. He has been running around for a while now.
He's been reflecting on his previous training hoping to find his mistake. He has followed all the pictures and he was sure that he did the correct posture. There's also instruction for Qi circulation of each picture. [Maybe learning skills is different from cultivation.]
Opening his interface, he used points to learn the skill. It's the same price, 1000 points.

He wants to slap himself. He was so dumb and wasted a thousand points for something so simple. It turned out that he just needed to convert his Qi into wind energy in order to control the surrounding wind force. He quickly practices his newfound skill.
He was moving faster but it's not as fast as the description of the skill.
The sun is dimming. There were sounds of footsteps echoing throughout the area. A person could be seen moving so fast that it's blurry to the naked eyes but, there was no sound of wind while he moved around.
If one was to close their eyes, they wouldn't know that someone is running in front of them.
Tian Feng has levelled up his skill to level 2 after one day of training and he was testing out his speed. In the second level, he was not running around anymore and instead, he was just observing the wind movement pattern to improve his understanding of the wind movement technique.
After reaching level 2, he stopped practising and try to test his out his skill. Thus, resulting in this amazing scene. Luckily, nobody is around otherwise they might mistake him as a ghost.

The sun has set, leaving the world in the moon's care, two people were seen standing near a lake. The older one groaned "I always think that you are a genius but I never expect you to reach level 2 so soon."
"Father, I also didn't expect this. hehe..." he said lowered his gaze, not daring to face his father. It was awkward and he didn't know what to do in this kind of situation.
He's an introvert. In a situation like this, it was best to remain silent.
Time's passing by seconds and minutes...
His father broke the silence with a vigorously laugh "hahaha, it's a good thing. The more genius you are, the better it is. At this rate, I say that you will be able to join the academy soon."
The father and son were standing by the lake, one was teaching and the other was learning. They seem like the only two people in the world.
Not so far away from them, there's was a similar scene. A middle age man is teaching a child about 3 or 4 years old.
