The three of them arrived home, Tian Feng went into his room as usual.
"Learn" immediately after he chose to learn it, he felt a rush of information appearing in his mind. He fell onto his bed unable to move his body at all.
Right now, he feels like something was rushing to enter his body through every inch of his skin. He feels pain and itchiness over his entire body. His head felt like it's about to explode.
A short while after, he was soaked wet by his sweats. Tian Feng fell asleep due to exhaustion.
His mother, He Ming came into his room later but seeing that Tian Feng was already asleep, she didn't wake him up. His father felt a disruption in the surrounding Qi for a moment.
It was a short moment, so he can't figure anything further. The idea that Tian Feng achieved a breakthrough didn't cross his mind.
In the next morning, the first thing Tian Feng did was to check his body. He felt the differences in his mind and body. He knew that he had successfully put his first step into the cultivation world.
Status
Name: Tian Feng
Age: 5
Cultivation: Celestial Immortal Art: Qi Condensation Level 1
Strength: 1.3
Agility: 1.4
Race: Human
He also has 8254 points left. He didn't continue to learn it using points as he wanted to save points. Each point was hard-earned with three years of efforts.
Besides he would like to have experience cultivating by himself little by little. To make an analogy, it was like one wouldn't want to cheat a new game that they haven't played to the max level. That would ruin all the fun of levelling up.
"It's still early. I'll try to cultivate for a bit first."
Tian Feng sat down in the lotus position and started sensing the environment. Unlike the past, right now he could sense many energy particles around him and he feels like he could absorb them all with a single thought.
Of course, that was just his feeling. The reality is different. When he cultivated the Celestial Immortal Art, his body was undergoing a change which allowed him to purify all kind of energy for his uses.
Had he bought the cheap book, this wouldn't happen and he would only be able to sense at most 2 energy particles while only able to absorb one.
Although he felt that he could absorb it with a thought, the actual process is not as easy as he thinks it is. It required him to carefully circulate those energies through specific acupoints in his body to purify it before storing it.
In other words, it's an arduous process that will require his full focus. Cultivation is not easy or at least not at his level, the initial stage of cultivation.
When he spent one thousand points to learn the first level earlier, the whole book has disappeared and the content was transmitted to his mind. He had memorized every single word that was in it.
Realized that it'll be a while longer before his mom come to get him, he decided to cultivate the second level. Each level is just accumulating Qi, as long as there's enough Qi in his Dantian for the next level, he'll be able to break through to the next level of strength.
Following the instructions carefully, he guided the Qi in his body through a series of acupoints. After a while, the surrounding energy started rushing toward his body and enter through his skin from all sides.
Perspiration started to appear on his forehead but his body felt very comfortable. After about an hour, he felt that his body is filled with energy to the brim then he slowly stops his cultivation.
He can't absorb anymore otherwise it'll have negatives impact on his body. Tian Feng is about to check out the "Steel Body" book when his mother comes in to get him.
He stood up and started running toward his mother. He wanted to tell her the good news but after taking a single step, he lost balance and fell to the floor face first.
He was not used to his newfound strength yet and on seeing his mother, he carelessly forgot about it and started rushing forward thus resulting in him falling abruptly like this.
His mother immediately rushed forward to pick him up. Seeing the blood on his knee, she frowned in worried. But a moment later, she was startled by the sight before her. The injury on her son's knee began to heal by itself at a visible pace.
Tian Feng is equally shocked, although he had memorized the content of the cultivation book, he didn't have a chance to study and understand it yet. So he also has no idea of what happening either.
It didn't take long for his injury to completely healed.
His mother was looking at him with a meaningful gaze. Although she didn't say anything, her face was saying it all clearly. She wanted to know what's happening and why it happened.
She was demanding an explanation.
"Mother! I finally succeed in cultivating the Basic Cultivation last night. I think I have reached level 1. Regarding the injury, I also don't know but I think it might have something to do with the Qi I absorb."
Different to what Tian Feng thought, his mother already knew about his cultivation the moment she opened the door. She just waited for her son to tell her by himself.
No matter how pure his Qi is, he's still at the lowest level of cultivation. Besides he didn't even know any technique to hide his Qi from leaking.
He Ming was delighted when she heard the first half of the sentence but when she heard the remaining half, she had a look of doubt. "I don't think so. We are also cultivators but our injury had never self-heal before. We also have never seen anyone with the self-healing ability."
He didn't say anything more because there's nothing to say. Since he also didn't know about it. One thing was for sure, it must have something to do with the Celestial Immortal Art. It might be one of its hidden effects.
His father was so delighted that he can't stop smiling the whole day after hearing the news. He didn't say or ask anything though. He looked as if he knew this was what going to happen.
In fact, he really knew about it beforehand. The first Qi disturbance could be passed off as nothing but the second one in the morning couldn't.
Tian Feng was spending the whole day to study the cultivation technique but he still can't find the reason behind that little incident. He can't understand anything beyond the second level. It seems like he needs to be on level 2 to understand the third level.
He has also unlocked the side effects of 'Steel Body' skill.
Book Details
Name: Steel Body
Tier: Bronze
Effects: Practitioner's skin will be more hardened with each increase in level. Practice to the maximum will grant the practitioner the body as hard as steel.
Side-Effects: Decrease agility, reflex speed, touch sensation and harden the skin.
While he now has a cultivation level 1, he doesn't have any skill at all. He was hoping to learn this skill but it doesn't look good right now. Not knowing what to do, he could only keep this skill back in the inventory.
Being someone from the world full of novel, how can he not know of the advantage of body cultivation but practising this skill would make his skin hard as steel. It's easy to imagine that it'd not be comfortable.
Cultivation is an endless practice. He can't possibly endure that for a lifetime, right? Not to mention that his sense of touch would be decreased.
What if he lost his sense of touch when he practices it to the max level? Wouldn't that make his life meaningless?
He didn't continue to read the Celestial Immortal Art side effects. The patient is only sick after they're diagnosed to be sick. A cultivator needs to have absolute confidence in their technique. Any doubt will hinder his future progress.
He'd rather not know of the side effect for the time being. He couldn't even fix a simple body strengthening side effect, needless to say, a heaven high tier.
He has 8254 points in the morning. He has earned around 167 more so now he has a total of 8320 points. He wants to find a skill book.
After having cultivation, his ways of earning points also update.

He's now stronger than average adults. With his small body, it made him feel like he has superhuman strength. He felt so light. His mother told him to keep his cultivation a secret from other people in the restaurant, even his friend, Da Jing.
His father couldn't sense his cultivation so he was confident that nobody would know about it. He cultivated a Heaven tier skill so it's impossible for his father to sense his cultivation.
His mother was able to sense it due to his panicking state this morning. The Qi also leaking to heal his injury which confirmed her suspicion. Tian Feng has also understood more about his cultivation technique and also gain more control over it.
He was looking for a skill book through the system shop when his mother came to pick him up to go home. With a disappointed face, he closed the interface and walked to his mother.
He had spent a lot of time looking for a book but still couldn't find one.
Although he had become a cultivator, he still rides in the front seat of the motorbike.
After dinner, his father came to look for him.
---
In the backyard, stood two silhouettes. It was Tian Feng and his father.
His father has come to ask him about his cultivation. He didn't want to lie but he can't explain his father about the existence of system so he only told him that after reading those cultivation books, he suddenly able to sense Qi and successfully cultivate to level 1.
His father didn't ask further and began to teach him the various usages of Qi in level 1. Tian Feng didn't think that he would be able to break through to level 2 soon especially since he's just reached level 1 this morning.
"Qi needs to be used to reinforce the foundation. If you keep your Qi without using it, you'll not be able to advance further. The more you use, the better. I'll teach you some technique to release your Qi."
After which, he started released a small amount of Qi from his palm into the atmosphere. Then he beckoned his son to follow him and do the same.
"Okay!" Driving his Qi through his various acupoints and meridians, he guided it to his palm and releasing it. But when he glances at his father to see whether he did it right or wrong, he saw his father's jaw agape with a startled expression.
"Father..."
"Little Feng! Your Qi is so pure. It's way purer than mine"
After a short moment of staring contest with his son, he laughed loudly "Hahahaha... my son is a true genius, the time for him to shine has come..."
Tian Lang spoke resolutely as if it's an order. "Son! From tonight onward, I'll teach you everything that I know. When you reached level 9, I'll send you to the academy."
He paused and look into the distance solemnly for a moment before continuing "Actually, joining the academy was your father dream when I was young.
But back then I couldn't reach level 9 before the age of 13 and the academy rejected me saying that I was not talented enough and that they should not waste their resources on someone like me.
Five years later, when I was 18, I finally reached level 9 and I tried to join the academy again but once again, I got rejected. I was depressed and desperate.
Later on, I met your mother. Many things had happened. She gave me a new reason to live. Thus, here I am today."
He has never expected that his father who has the same appearance, the same name as the one from the other life was having a completely different life.
The only common thing between them is their love for me and my mother.
Upon realizing that, his emotion welled up and his determination once again hardened. "Father! I will not let you down."
Tian Lang sighed and turned back to his son with a satisfied smile "Alright! That's my son! haha"
"Come, I'll first teach you how to release and retract your Qi faster."
"Un..."
