"Sebas, I'm going to need you to do some errands for me." Ed walked over to Arthur's office and spoke to Sebas there.
"Anything, Master Ed."
"Other than Leonard and Edmund, the other Elders don't have any noteworthy weapons. I need you to get me a list of what they use. I won't be able to craft any Legendary weapons since I don't have enough materials. But, I'm sure it'll be better than what they have now." Sebas listened to Ed as he spoke. When the latter finished, Sebas bowed and started walking immediately.
"If you can't find me in my room, just pin the list on my door. I'll get it when I can." Ed left him with one final order as he too walked away.
Ed entered his room and shut the door. He created a dimension where he set the surrounding to an oasis-like area. He could expend his QI even while setting such conditions on it now. He also set a 50x gravity multiplier and sat down. Garu and Goburou knew that Ed would be crafting and refining, so they walked into the desert and started sparring there. They made sure to keep a safe distance so as not to disturb Ed's work.
Ed withdrew the broken white rapier and the Frost Deer's heart. He was starting with Emilia's weapon and would then focus on other things. The heart wasn't actually a heart, but a clump of pure Ice QI. Only a small number of monsters can produce such a thing in their bodies. The reason why it was called a heart was due to its position being right next to the real heart.
Ed created an intense fire and put the blade part of the rapier inside. He melted it down and mixed it with the powder of the Frost Deer's heart. He repeated this process hundreds of times until the powder was no more. In the end, he shaped the weapon back into a rapier and let it cool down. After cleaning it up, he was astonished. The rapier looked even whiter than before and let out a deadly chill. The air that came into contact with it turned into white mist. The chill surrounded the area, so much that even Garu and Goburou felt it from far away. Ed could feel the chill going through his hands all the way to his shoulder. His bones even felt the pain from such a chill.
'I see. So you're rejecting me.' Ed could understand what the weapon was doing. It did not recognize Ed as its master, nor did it allow him to use it. 'I guess I don't need to add a lock function to it.' Ed thought that it would be useless. The weapon could choose its master, and it would hurt all others. He guessed that the backlash would be stronger against other, and it was taking it easy on him seeing that he fixed it. Ed only added the QI function to it, to allow it to be used better, and called out to Garu and Goburou.
"I'll be taking this weapon back to Emilia. I'll be back as fast as I can." Ed told the two of them so they could prepare for when he deactivates the dimension. The two of them sat down in his room as he walked away. Ed noticed the paper he had asked Sebas to make hanging on his door. He stored it in his Inventory and moved on.
Noises could be heard from the basement as Ed closed in on it. He walked inside to an intense training montage between the four residents of the basement. Emilia and Ellie were out of breath as Suika and Merry chased them down mercilessly.
"Ehem." Ed faked a cough and released a bit of his KI so he could catch their attention. This made them stop to look at him, and noticed he was close to them. Ed had been using the silencing effect of his Spectral Shadow Steps without knowing it lately.
"Here, Emilia." Ed addressed her as he withdrew the rapier from his dimension. Emilia held her breath as she looked at it. It was hiding in its sheath, so she had no idea if it was fixed or not. She only believed in Ed and received it from his hands. She opened it without the slightest hint of impatience, unlike the gallery next to her that wanted to know the result.
The blade part appeared and seemed to release a flash of white light. Emilia completed the unsheathing process as tears clouded her eyes. She wiped them away to get a good look at her mother's weapon, her weapon. Ed studied her facial features closely and noticed no annoyance or uncomfortable feeling.
"It doesn't feel cold?" He asked her just to make sure.
"No. It feels warm, like my mother's hands." Two drops of tears fell down her cheeks as she held the weapon close to her chest.
"I see. I'm glad then,' said Ed. He had many things to take care of, so he returned back. He could hear Emilia muttering 'Thank You' while the others surrounded her.
Back in his room, Ed noticed a huge pile of weapons laying on the ground. "What are these?" He asked Goburou and Garu who had been waiting ever since he left.
"The man called Sebas brought them. He said they belonged to the Elders." Ed hit his head with a palm. Sebas had saved him a lot of trouble. If he didn't have these weapons, he would have to make them from scratch, but now he would only improve upon them.
"Let's see. We have three halberds, two spears, one war axe, one saber, one greatsword, and one bow." Ed studied both the weapons on the ground and on the list. There were no misconceptions so he proceeded to create a dimension.
Two of the weapons were on the level of Epic grade. Ed guessed that these belonged to Audun and Bard, as the weapons were old. The two weapons were the bow and one of the halberds.
Ed referred back to the list to see which weapon belonged to whom. He couldn't create a weapon that would drain its user in two or three uses. The Elders had two Immortal, five Heavenly, including Edmund, and three Earth cultivators. He marked each weapon with the cultivation of its owner and began his work.

Ed spent a little over four days refining the weapons. Thanks to his dimension, he managed to reduce the real-time to two days and a half. He managed to increase the rarity of the weapons that were rare, or below, to Epic. And, while he didn't manage to level up Bard and Audun's weapons to Legendary, he knew that they close.
"I'll leave them to you, Sebas," said Ed. He put the pile of weapons in front of Sebas and returned back to his room. He felt that it was an annoyance to activate and deactivate the dimension ever time he needed something outside his room. His EMS ability helped him majorly in ever since he got it, but as expected he thought about upgrading it. Upgrading his skill didn't guarantee improvements, but he hoped that would be the case.
"Guburou, Garu. You guys remember the training we did back at the academy, right?" Asked Ed while looking at the two of them. They nodded to affirm and he proceeded to speak.
"We'll be doing something similar. I need to improve my Haki, and you guys will need to improve your Nen." Ed created a blindfold, which he proceeded to put on. He then activated his Ren at his maximum potential, and after looking at him do it, the other two did the same. The sand surrounding them was blown away by their aura fluctuations.
"We won't stop until we exhaust our energy," said Ed while unsheathing Muramasa and Ame-No-Murakumo. Both of the weapons seemed somewhat impatient when Ed held them. As if they sensed that they needed to improve, or else they would be overtaken. The appearance of many Legendary weapons and Emilia's rapier which was the closest to Mythical grade must have brought this change.
'Soon…' Ed thought to himself while he started his training with Garu and Goburou. Ed didn't use Seikuken or En. He relied only on his Observation Haki which needed some improvement.
Ed activated Haki and found himself inside black space as if it was drawn on paper. Sand particles appeared as small dots inside the black space surrounding Ed. A little further away, two pure white figures stood on both sides of Ed. He was able to visualize Goburou and Garu in a perfect way without needing to look at them. The two figures crossed the distance between them and Ed in a fraction of a second.
Slash, block, parry, and counterattack. Dozens of actions happened in the span of mere seconds. The sand surrounding them blew away every time two weapons clashed. The sparring session looked like a fight to the death instead of a simple training. Diamonds could only form under extreme pressure. Ed believed the same to be true for improving one's fighting prowess. His body filled up with scratches from attacks that he failed to dodge but healed up by his Regeneration. The battle continued for hours, and by the fourth hour, all three of them took it up a notch. Goburou activated his Hatsu and created two clones of himself, while Garu started using flying slashes and magic.
As the pressure on Ed increased, he gave in and activated Ryusui Seikuken along with his En. His fighting capabilities increased once more and he went toe to toe with all of them. Goburou and his two clones used their speed to shoot out flying slashes from all directions. Ed's swords shined with their respective color and released flying slashes as well. Three slashes vs. two. One might think that Ed would lose, but that was not the case. His two slashes managed to cancel the three targeting him. This resulted in a huge explosion that sent the sand around them flying.
Garu emerged from the sand cloud and used his Glaive to slash downwards at Ed. Ed blocked with his weapons in a cross shape, but before he could pull out, Gary used his Ice magic to stop Ed. It was the same tactic he used back in Aaragon. But, unlike his opponents in Aaragon, Ed was experienced enough to overcome it. The two swords released their magic in a spiraling way. Wind and fire continued to eat away at the ice, reducing it to nothing in a fraction of a second. Garu tried to overpower Ed and send him flying, but he didn't expect him to let go of his swords. In fact, Ed stored them before backing away half a step.
He withdrew Shusui and slashed at Garu who was still mid-swing. Garu retracted his Glaive and used it to block Ed's attack. This exchange lasted for a couple of seconds as Goburou joined in once more with Garu.
By the seventh hour, all three of them were panting hard and sweating even harder. They ate up all of their energy and exhausted their muscle strength. Ed chose not to heal up with a potion, as that would reduce the benefit of their training. He created an area where they could sleep and did so for about eight hours. Their bodies managed to heal up as they were used to such intense training. Ed cooked them something, and once they finished eating, he focused on refining pills and potions.
Ed's speed at refining surpassed anyone's wildest imagination. As long as he had enough materials, he could make a potion in less than a minute. He created the potions and pills for five hours and then resumed his training. Once the two days of his dimension ended, he would check up on the results of the outside world. Blood posts that got destroyed, countries that responded to the danger of the invasion, and many other things.
This schedule went on for a week of real time, and then Ed proceeded to his second phase of the plan.
"Garu and Goburou will come with me. We have many things to do. You don't need to destroy any more Blood posts; you should just focus on your training. Sieg, how's the thing we discussed going?" Ed and his companions were standing outside Avalon discussing some things.
"I should be able to do it, and it'll stay forever unless it's destroyed, or I am," Sieg answered Ed's question with the details he needed to know.
"I see. Thank you all for your hard work. We'll meet again in one week's time."
