Hana was dumbfounded as they just met and did not really know each other. Choi Minha might heard of her, but did she not think that aside from talent, characteristics should be seen too? It was not like she did not have a good personality, Hana just thought it would be bad if the other was like this to everyone she would meet.
Nevertheless, she was planning to look for a job and she should not be choosy. Being offered just like that felt quite odd was what Hana thought.
Since her curiosity was piqued too, she asked what could Choi Minha offer her. She might be a talent recruiter if Hana's luck was good.
"I actually own a restobar, and there are times we are inviting singers to perform. The pay is high so do not worry about it."
Hana felt that the offer was good. After all, she did not know if there would be agency that would recruit her. A place like restobar where audiences might take video of performers could help her. They might even upload it to their social networking sites and share it to others. People would eventually notice her if that would be the case.
There were people who became an overnight celebrity by being viral in her original world. Hana realized it would be beneficial for her if she became one. Even though she was considered now as public figure after debuting, it was just shortwhile and there were even few who knew her.
Nevertheless, she still needed to confirm if it was a decent place as she did not want to be associated to any illegal stuff.
Choi Minha softly laughed and told her, "Do not worry, though we only have few customers every night, those people are elites and have wide range of connections."
After hearing that, a lot of scenarios played on Hana's mind such as: Elite Man Fell in Love with a Restobar Singer, Finding Love in this Lonely World, and the likes. It was silly but those were the usual scenes you would be able to find in the other novels.
Nonetheless, Hana got the hidden meaning of Choi Minha and agreed after removing those thoughts. Although the chance now of people uploading her performance was low, it would be possible for her to seek some help to those who might like her. After all, she could only rely now on herself to have connections.
They exchanged their contact numbers and went on their own way. They decided that Hana could start working on next Saturday night as she still needed to arrange her living place before doing anything else.
It took three hours eating her lunch and chatting with Choi Minha, so she immediately went to the first place of her choice in her search for apartment.
The place was quite good even though the location was not ideal, there were stores near it in case she felt lazy cooking something. Too bad though, someone already booked the place and with that, she only had two choices.
She was able to check the other two places as those were near to each other. However, she felt the area was not safe, so she decided to just look again.
She went back to her place feeling dejected by not finding one. Well, she just came to this world and her first day was really eventful. She wanted to eat a lot to distress, alas, she did not have a budget for it.
Her head was down while walking and kicking a stone on her way. As it was quite dark, a bicycle rider did not notice her and almost bumped her if not for her fast reaction to avoid it.
"Hey! Can't you be careful? It's already dark in this road and yet you have the guts to drive fast?" She was irritated of course, who would not?
"You can't push all the blame to me. If you are not walking in the middle of the street, you would not experience it." Hana was flabbergasted on how illogical was that reasoning. It was night time and there were few people passing the street, who could guess there would be some idiot around?
She thought no one would drive during that time, so she did not care if she was walking in the middle or the sides. It was an illogical thinking too though. Anyway, she was tired because of her experience that day and did not want to argue anymore. With that, Hana tried looking at that person's face, but she could not see it as the light in this street just came from the houses here and streetlights were not working.
Since she could not see that person, it meant that the other could not see her too. And just like that, she kicked that person really hard before running for her life.
