Dro faced the queen and spoke, "Please guide me."
"Alright," She extended her hand and an interface window popped up, it showed the skills he could train, there were 4 skills displayed before him.
<Passive skill, Vampire Blood Circulation, 5% Blood is recovered every 3s>
<Active skill, Blood Spear, Reduces blood by 35%, Launches a blood spear at the target dealing Weapon damage * (50% of your strength + 50% of your agility +50% of your intellect), Cooldown 20s, Range 5 metres>
<Active skill,Transfuse, Cooldown 15s, Converts 30% Blood to 10% HP>
<Active skill, Blood Lech, Cooldown 30s, Draws blood from a target's wound restoring 10% Blood, Range 5 metres>
Dro looked at the skills and with a heavy heart clicked on each one. Each skill had cost him 20 Copper each, in total he had spent 1 Silver just on the skills, so now he had only 2 silver left.
<Skill Learned, Vampire Blood Circulation>
<Skill Learned, Blood Spear>
<Skill Learned, Transfuse>
<Skill Learned, Blood Lech>
After learning the skills he addressed the Queen, "Please send me back."
She looked him in the eye and spoke, "Next time you come before me, I expect to hear of your success."
She snapped her fingers and his surroundings changed to the <Vampire Novice Village>.
Having returned back, he didn't immediately go to the cave, he went for the crabs instead, as they were only <Level 4> and were easier than a dungeon, Dro approached the, <Deep Sea Crab> that almost killed him last time.
<Blood Slash>
<Critical>
<-431>
<569/1000 HP>
After the attack, he immediately used his another skill <Blood Spear>
<-142>
<427/1000 HP>
The crab punched him, <-130>
Having received such a hit he was reduced to 300 HP, Dro countered with another attack but since his skills were on cooldown he attacked normally <-115>
<312/1000 HP>
<Transfuse>
<+45>
<Blood Lech>
<+10% Blood>
The monster attacked with its claw,
<-130>
30 Second already passed, Dro used <Blood Slash>
<Critical>
<-431>
<Deep Sea Crab Killed>
<+110 XP>
<You have defeated one of the Crabs that pose a threat to the Vampire Village>
<Find clues to solve the mystery on why did these crabs appear>
After the battle ended, Dro had barely any HP left from battling a <Level 4 Deep Sea Crab>. Seeing the battle's difficulty he had no idea what to do next. He couldn't conquer the dungeon with his damage. The crabs were manageable but he feared that he might summon some kind of boss after killing them. The werewolves were <Level 10 Elite> monsters which made him reluctant to go and challenge them.
Dro started thinking about what he should do next, decided first to go back to the city and completely look around the village before doing anything else.
It didn't take him a long time to return back. Returning back he saw that there was a new quest it was a new yellow quest. Dro approached the quest giver it was a little Vampire girl.
She spoke, "Your Excellency, can I ask for some of your time?"
Dro looked at the little Vampire, "What can I do for you?"
"My big brother went missing, please go to the small forest in the west. I saw him leaving to that forest, please find him and bring him back"
<Quest received>
<Rewards, XP 1000>
<Accept, Decline>
"Alright I will do it."
"Thank you, your Excellency," She bowed her head, in gratitude.
Before departing to do this quest he looked around <Vampire Novice Village>, he found another weapon vendor but he was selling the items players are given on creating a character, items with no stats and low damage values.
Like in all starting villages, there were no profession trainers.
Dro went to the designated quest area, in the forest he found a new kind of monster,
<Wolf, Level 3>
<650/650 HP>
Dro engaged the wolf as it was blocking his way into the forest, Dro standing from 5 metres used his skill,
<Blood Spear>
<-142>
After getting hit by the attack, the wolf ran up to Dro and using this timing he slashed with another skill,
<Blood Slash>
<-172>
<Wolf, Level 3>
<336/650 HP>
Wolf already was reduced to half its HP, but Dro's own abilities were on cooldown, the wolf jumped at the Vampire with its mouth open the enemy used a skill,
<Bite>
<-250>
The Wolf did an insane amount of damage to the current Dro, taking more than half HP in a single attack.
Dro glanced at his <Blood> bar it was at 70%, seeing it at this level he grinned,
<Blood Spear>
<-72>
<Transfusion>
<+45>
<Drain>
<-33>
<+17>
Blood Spear and Transfusion used <65% Blood> this activated his <Drain> skill. but it still wasn't enough to kill the beast, Dro used another skill as it just went off cooldown.
<Blood Slash>
<-172>
<59/650 HP>
The wolf attacked and Dro countered with his own attack, it was a normal attack with his weak weapon,
<-115>
<Wolf slain>
<+150 XP>
While wolf's attack did <-180> and it left Dro with only 20 HP left, Dro, walked up to the beast and looted the corpse.
<+79 copper>
<Uncommon Gloves, Unidentified, Level required 5>
Dro stared blankly, his first item had dropped, and it dropped from a random wolf. He was really excited about picking up the item, it was uncommon quality. In this game, items went up from common to legendary. Common items were the worst with no stats or effects attached to them after that there was uncommon which had few stat point increases, after that rare, epic, artefact and legendary.
Dro looked at the item and idea was already forming in his head. He wanted to sell the item. He wanted to sell it for 1 Gold and buy his weapon from that vendor named Joshua. Dro returned back to the <Novice Vampire Village> and opened his menu. From the menu, he selected <Auction> option. New interface window popped up, looking in the auction house window there were many common items posted, they were all crappy items with no stat increase.
He posted his item at the exact price of One gold. Only a few minutes passed but the item was already sold, Dro now had one gold in his inventory.
Having the required he went to find Joshua and buy the weapon off his hands.
Finding Joshua, "Hello I would like to buy a weapon from your shop."
"Yes, please take a look, your Excellence."
Dro Saw the familiar items, he scrolled down to the item, he found the item on the last page of the stop it was still there and the price was still 1 gold. He clicked on the item and he bought it.
The item appeared in his inventory, he looked at Joshua and asked, "Where can I identify items?"
"I can do that, your Excellency."
Dro nodded his head, "Please do."
Having appraised the item Joshua returned the sword to Dro, looking at the weapon stats he was dumbfounded. Soon that dumbfoundedness made him curse out loud,
<Vampire Short Sword>
<1-3 >
<Strength +1>
Looking at the weapon he cursed at the night.
