[Now I have two choices, I can go and deal with werewolves or go and proceed with zone questline which requires me to collect more pelts]
Dro though for a bit before going towards the werewolf cave, he wanted to take a look. If the werewolves were to be stronger he would go and do the pelt quest. Dro moved through the area, the moon still hanging up in the sky the entire time he was here it didn't change one bit. It was if this area was always shrouded in night.
On the way to the werewolf cave, he didn't forget to kill <Vampire Bats> that were in the way they together gave him enough XP to reach <Level 3>, to reach <Level 4> he needed 1,200 XP. He finally arrived at the werewolf cave. He spotted one beast at the entrance of the cave <Werevolf, Level 10, HP 5,000, Elite>
Seeing the string of information his face changed as he frowned. He immediately gave up on the idea of doing this quest first. He turned around as he headed towards the area where <Corrupted Vampire Bats> were located. Like before he killed <Vampire Bats> that appeared on his way, he killed 5 which gave him 250 XP.
He finally spotted his first <Corrupter Vampire Bat> looking at it he saw the monster's information <Curropted Vampire Bat, Level 2, HP 500> seeing the reasonable HP bar and level, he went forward. He was ready to do his quest.
<Blood Slash>
<Critical Hit>
<-618>
<Corrupted Vampire Bat Slain>
<+100 XP>
Seeing the huge damage number he was shocked since he could do so much damage with the <1-3> weapon. This damage amount was only possible for him because his skills stacked on each other. <Blood Slash> did 150% weapon damage it was further enhanced by his current <Strength stat> which was now 44, with this alone he would have dealt 247 damage but he scored a critical strike, the damage got doubled and his <Blood Rage> passive increased his critical damage by additional 50%. These effects stacked together dealt 618 damage.
He came closer to the corpse of the beast and he looted it,
<+50 Copper>
<+1 Corrupted Vampire Bat Pelt>
Dro smiled as he received this much copper, he was slightly closer to his goal, but he still didn't even have a single silver coin which made him sigh. He approached another <Corrupted Vampire Bat>. Dro slashed at the bat,
<Blood Slash>
<-247>
<253/500 HP>
The bat still had some HP left it attacked, Dro <-43> it dealt some damage but it wasn't that much. Dro attacked again this time with a simple attack since <Blood Slash> was still on cooldown.
<-55>
<198/500 HP>
The monster attacked again biting at Dro with its teeth <-64>
His skill was cooldown so he used a normal attack again,
<Critical>
<-275>
<Corrupted Vampire Bat Slain>
<+100 XP>
Since he has increased critical strike chance he managed to score a critical strike. Another <Corrupted Vampire Bat> has fallen to the ground. Picking up the items it was like last time 50 copper and a corrupted bat pelt. Dro repeated this process four more times just until he had all the pelts he needed. From killing these bats he received in a total of 3 silver coins. He also had <750/1200 XP> all he needed to do now was turn in the quest and he would reach <Level 4>.
Dro returned back to the village and before long he was standing in front of the NPC. Dro spoke, "I have completed your task, here," Dro gave the Vampire the pelts that he requested.
"Thank you, your Excellency, I will not forget this task you have done for me."
<Quest Completed>
<XP +800>
<Silver +1>
<Level Up>
He already reached <Level 4>, he was at the same level as those crabs but he still didn't want to go fight them before he had a proper weapon. Casting his look at the Vampire NPC again, he again had a quest. But this time the quest marker was not yellow, it was red and it symbolised an instanced quest. He had to go to either a dungeon or a raid.
Dro spoke, "Is there more, that you need to be done?"
"Yes, your Excellency. I need Vampire Bat King's Pelt, but it is a strong creature, and you al.... pardon my words, you alone should be enough as you are the great progenitor, only lesser to our Queen. The location of the bat is East of the city, you will find a cave and inside that cave the bat awaits."
<Quest Received>
<Rewards +6,000 XP>
< +1 Gold>
<Talent Point +1>
<Random Item of uncommon quality>
<Accept, Decline>
"I will do it"
"I knew I could count on you, your Excellency."
[This quest gives so many rewards, but can I do this?]
Dro went to find the cave and like in the instructions he found a cave near the cave there was not a single monster. Looking straight ahead the entrance of the cave was foggy.
[This must be how instance entrances are displayed in this game]
Dro walked through the fog and when he passed the fog a message popped up.
<Damp Cave Instance, 5 MAN Dungeon>
[5 man dungeon?]
[Can I even do this?]
Looking up ahead he only saw one path and his path was littered with monsters, looking at their information made Dro gulp.
<Vampire Bat, Level 5, Elite, HP 5,000>
Dro gulped his saliva, he watched these bats they were patrolling the cave after waiting for few breaths he managed to pull only one bat, he engaged in combat with this elite bat.
<Blood Slash>
<-172>
<4,828/5,000 HP>
The bat struck Dro, and it was not a small hit either
<-250>
His health got reduced by more than half he only got left with 200 HP. He frowned as he used a skill <Drain>
But nothing happened, sensing the incoming danger he used <Blood Puddle> since monsters in the dungeon don't break combat, he was forced to run out of the dungeon.
[Why my drain didn't work]
He opened skill window as he looked at the ability
<Drain 10+5% target HP, heal half of the damage amount, Cooldown 5s, Requirement Blood less than 50%>
[What?]
[My ability got changed?]
[And I didn't notice until now?]
[I wonder if my other skills also changed?]
He looked through all his other abilities and only one other was changed
<Blood Puddle, Cooldown 3m, Only usable when Blood is above 50%, Reduces Blood by 50%>
[I didn't use those skills before now So I never noticed]
[I should go back to true progenitor and learn new skills]
<Blood Gate> he started channelling the skill and after the gate got summoned he went through the gate, his surroundings changed and he was now standing before the Queen. He looked at her, "You highness I wish to learn new skills."
She gave him a glance before speaking, "Alright you are strong enough to learn few of them."
