Chapter 20: Let's Wait For Diana ( Son of An Ancient Dragon )
After Defeating Guild Master. No, Even After Killing Guild Master.. Adger was not satisfied with outcome.. How he accidentally gave guild master an easy death, Adger had made many plans and spent whole night making those plans that how would he torture guild master..
At Owl's Inn
Guild Master, He was ususlly reffered as Guild Master but Guild Master also had an name, ( Why wouldn't he ? ) his name was Benedict Crosby. His Father Former S Rank Adventurer Curtis Crosby, He was owner of Owl's Inn
Adger came to Owl's Inn to retrieve his belonging. it was just an excuse, he was dirt poor and had nothing on him expect his guns.
" Hey, Owner.. i came to empty my room, i am leaving city today " ( Adger )
Curtis Crosby, former S Rank was indeed famous, he was only person in Rengtel to Achieve S Rank. even though Adger was also an S Rank Adventurer but he had yet to touch any job/quest.. isn't that ironic ? he became an S Rank which regarded as a rank which is really hard to obtain, many adventurer never reached this rank in their whole life and who tried, they died. so of course people around adger would regard Adger as strong individual.. thus he is still lying on dirt and had never reached any personal request ( Special Quest ), Everyone think of him a corn artist or worse a cheater
Curtis Crosby was drinking alcohol, relaxing on one of table, ( A Customer's Table, Where they usually eat food in Inn )..... was he drinking because he son died ?
" Oh, Adger.. an new face on s rank... ? Come join me, Sit there "
Curtis said, as he put down glass of alcohol while pointing towards a chair on same table in front of him
Adger joined him..
" Are you okay old man ? " -you seem be really drunk....
Adger don't like Alcohol.. so he refused shaking his head when curtis picked up that glass which was on table and pointed towards Adger..
"Don't worry, this old man is totally fine.... "
Curtis, He Replied with smile.. there wasn't any hidden meaning behind his smile.. that smile of him was pure as it could get.. actually it was too pure..
-Eh ? What's with this old man ? i came to see him crying in death of his son but !!!!! this bastard is smiling. ( Adger in his mind )
The Reason behind Adger coming to inn, it was to see guild master's father crying in sorrow of his son's death but.. He was not able to see guild master sufferring at his last moment so he came to inn to satisfy himself with his father's sorrow
" Hey, Adger. What are you doing here ? i already brought Russhel's little sister from mansion"(Albert )
- just as i thought... he is here to enjoy himself ( Albert )
Albert went to bring Russhel's little sister from mansion, but when he came back.. Adger wasn't there waiting so Albert searched around and while searching he realized something and directly came to Owl's Inn -It was something he learned from his experience
-Oh Shit.... Albert found me, ( Adger in his mind -Panicking )
" uh Oh.. Albert.. i just came to meet Curtis, he is father of Guild Master.. by the way where is Russhel ? didn't he went with you ? " -And What about Shera ? ( Adger )
Adger replied Albert as he turned around towards Albert..
" so, This person is Albert... Who has title of Demong King, i heard quite much about him from my son.." ( Curtis )
-Eh ? that old fart told his old man about albert ?
" Sorry for my rudeness for not introducing myself, My name is Albert, i am Adger's friend and i heard quite much about you too Curtis Crosby, S Rank Adventurer Also known as Dragon Slayer to few individuals... you have quite lifespan for a human don't you ? "
Albert Introduced himself as he put his left hand on his stomach
- The Fuc... Since wh.. no Albert has always been like this... but i haven't seen this side of him for while so it surprised me.. but what's up with that posture ?
" Hahaha you seems to have quite information about me.. unlike this boy " -he never introduced himself formally but i can't complaint, knowing he choose an Adventurer's job ( Curtis )
Adger made an strange face when he heard -Unlike this boy-
- are you tired of living too old man like your son ? should i put you out of your misery ? ( Adger)
" Of course.. but i would've loved to talk to you more about your adventurers and your love life with a dragon.. unfortunately i, and Adger have leave " -though i am not really that interested in your boring stories ( Albert )
" Shall we ? Adger " ( Albert asked Adger.. )
" Um yea... let's go " ( Adger replied, knowing Albert he knew if he refused at time like this.. his story might take an unexpected route )
Adger stood up and left his chair and said good bye to curtis, and they left inn
By the way.. Adger's room payment was due so albert paid..
Outside of Inn,
Russhel, Russhel's Little Sister Leli, David were waiting outside...
It was night time, around 8 Pm.. and everyone were hungry
" Albert, we could have ate at Owl's inn.. " - moron.... ( Adger )
Albert said when Albert suggested that they should eat something while waiting for Diana's Arrival..
" Shorty, how much do you know about that old man ? " ( Albert stopped walking, turned back and asked to Adger with serious look on his face )
Adger knows as much any normal people would.... so, he lift his both hands, lift his shoulder little high
" His Name - Curtis Crosby, his last name ( Family name ) Crosby came from an ancient dragon called Crosby.. that dragon known as Crosby was 11th king of Dragons.. i don't know exactly why but that dragon took a liking to a human girl and married her.. Thus Crosby family born.. That girl gave birth two boys and of course died, they had blood of ancient dragon, both were half blooded but one of them was far stronger than his little brother.. for some reason they fought against each other.. smaller brother was victories.. he killed his older brother and name of that person is Curtis Crosby.. so you know it happened more than 500 years ago... Curtis Crosby is that old.. His Son aka guild master was powerful and had strength but it was not even 30% of his father Curtis Crosby.. you killed Guild master.. Grandson of An Ancient Dragon Crosby.. " ( David )
" And you went to see him crying ? are you out of your mind ? what if he had decided to kill you at that time to take revenge of his son ? " ( Albert )
-i heard this story but never thought that Curtis sir himself would be son of ancient dragon.. ( Russhel, thinking to himself )
" Yea, who the h.. umm whatever.... " ( Adger replied to Albert and David, he was about use that kind of words but seeing a small girl was with them.. he started walking again )

They went to 2nd Layer of Rangtel.. ( Where Nobles, Rich usually are )
Everyone went to a Restaurant, it was high class... so, Adger was
-Albert gonna pay.... going all out on food !! ( Adger in hind mind )
Russhel, Leli both of them never went to a restaurant where nobles usually go
At The Front Gate of Delicious Food -There was a guard like Adventurer was standing
He didn't say anything until Russhel and Adger were about to get inside
" Hey , What are you doing here ? are you lost or something ? " ( The Person who was standing at the front door )
Russhel was well known Adventurer but yet still
Adger... no one actually knows me..
" Oi, They are with us.. " ( David )
" Oh Sir, David and Albert.. i am sorry about that... (Change of Tone ) You can go.. " ( The Person who was standing at the front door, he was guard.. )
2nd Layer of City is totally different than 3rd just like 3rd is like heaven when compared to 4th layer of city...
Changes in Building and Roads, everything was looked far more better than 3rd layer..
In 3rd Layer, Building were mostly build with woods and were fine but in 2nd layer those building had turned into concrete structures.. and were taller than before.. 3 story houses and restaurant, even though it was just one story high than before but the difference was still there..
They were enjoying The Delicious Meal of Delicious food, Albert, Adger, Russhel were talking to each other, shera -she was hmm she was enjoying herself in her own way and Leli was enjoying her juice, food.. she have yet to talk.. members of gun slider don't want to purse a small girl to talk.. ( Afraid of being mistaken as lolicons )
Meanwhile David was thinking about what might Curtis Crosby do now when he son was killed by Adger.. yea those political stuff..
- i only found out about Crosby when i went to meet the king of farry kingdom, damn Adger sure made a mess.. -Killing a his son.. he sure would not just stand idle ( David )
When Suddenly Everyone in Restaurant Heard a loud noise coming from front gate..
Baam, Bhoom, Slam, Phefff
Those noises disappeared as they came, in that silent a beautiful women came.. wearing a trench coat.. yea it was more like men's coat but different, suited for a women, she was wearing a hat and glasses.. but at the time, those cloths were pretty worn out, only her glasses were fine..
"Diana !! " ( Adger )
" That poor guy at the front door, he must have mistook her as someone lost.. Rest in peace " ( Albert)
" How are you diana !! it's been long t... " ( Adger )
" .....i see you are still living through your miserable life... " -such shame ( Diana.... )
" Phefffff.... " ( Russhel, Albert and David... )
They were trying not laugh...
" Eh ? -You shitty guys.. stop laughing " ( Adger )

" Hahahaa.... " ( Finally those guys were not able to control their laugh.. )
- she haven't changed !!! damn it when i thought after seeing me die there she would start to care about me even a little. come on, it's been months since we met... still merciless with her words as always.. ( Adger )
" Mister, are you bad person ? brother told me when a lady talk bad about someone... " ( Leli finally spoke, just to make it even worse for Adger )
