Chapter 3: Sorry
While preparing to begin posting the next volume of Apex, I ended up doing something stupid. I self published the novel online on Amazon. This would not have been a bad thing, not at all, but I found out shortly after that by allowing it to be enrolled in an opt-in program with kindle direct publishing, called KDP Select, I gave up the rights to offer the book for free on other sites.
I am very sorry about this, as I INTENDED to always have this story available for free on my blog and on this site. Unfortunately, I can only allow a limited amount of the story to be available for free until the program expires.
So, I will have to private all my chapters on my blog until then and delete the ones here....
Again, I am very sorry.
I can't believe I did that.
