Chapter 12: Chapter 12
I wake up, covered in blankets shivering. Looking around I see that I am in the nurse's office. What happened? I ask myself.
"You passed out because I used up a quarter of your magic and you weren't used to it." Night said, sounding sleepy as if he just woke up. I attempt to sit up only to slowly lay back down again as a wave of dizziness swept over me.
"I see you are awake now Wolf." I hear Chara say from the end of the bed. I nod and hear her stand up from sitting down. She appears in my line of sight and stares at me. Why is she staring at me weirdly? I ask myself.
"So do you feel any better after my services?" She says, laughing evilly. Wait- what? I ask myself as I stare up into her bright red eyes. She sits on the edge of my bed, grabbing my hand.
"You passed out, so I helped you." she said, sadly. I passed out? I slowly prop myself onto my right elbow.
"I"m sorry, I didn't want for you to get involved with me. I have had a messed up life ever since I can remember." I say, laying back down on my back.
"Yeah well my father is Satan though so it kinda runs in the family." Chara says, laughing. Can I get out of bed now? I don't want to seem weak to her.
"Get out of bed, I will give my strength to you." Night said, I could tell he smiled. Swinging my legs off the side of the bed, feeling Night send strength to me and I slowly sit up and then stand.
"Well look at you, getting the hand of having a familiar already. You can transfer strength and magical energy to each other, only Night can store it for later though so feel free to give him as much strength as you want." Chara said, smiling. She stood up and I turned to her.
"Thank you Chara." I say, smiling. I turn around and walk to the door and to my room.
