Chapter 8: Chapter 8
I walk into my room, closing the door behind me, breathing heavily. Good thing none of my roommates are here right now. I think to myself as I grab a different robe out of the chest at the end of my bed. I wish I wasn't so powerful, it's just a hindrance. I thought to myself as I walked into my bathroom to get changed. I look into the mirror and examine my exhausted face. I look like I've been through a blender, although I guess that's to be expected since I just snapped, not fully understanding my power.
Maybe I should go take a shower? I ask myself, trying to remember when the last time I had a hot shower. I strip all my clothes off and I walk towards the back left corner of the bathroom, opening the shower and walking into it. Turning on the hot water, I ran over the scenario of what happened with Walter.
I had felt a rush of strength from my chest flow out into my arms, giving me power I had never felt before. It felt like a bunch of energy was being gathered in one spot inside of me, building, and building until I couldn't hold it in anymore. I just released it in anyway possible, even if it was just in a wave of pure magic, no form to it at all.
I put some soap on a washcloth, wiping thoroughly before rinsing myself, I then washed my hair, I got out and dried off. My hair was sticking up everywhere, grabbing my clean robe and putting it on and grabbing my dirty one, I walked out of the bathroom just in time to have Nina come into the room. I walk past her, trying to hide my robe but failed.
"WOLF!!! What happened?!" She yelled, freaking out. I sighed and threw the robe in the trash, not salvageable in the slightest.
"I hurt someone really bad, that's what happened Nina." I say, and flop onto my bed. I sigh, looking up at the ceiling. I turn onto my side and look at Nina, her eyes were wide open in shock.
"You hurt someone?" she asked, shocked. I sighed and roll onto my side.
"Yes, I was trying to protect Adenine." I say, finally sitting up. I swing my legs over the side of my bed and turn my gaze to the door, hearing someone coming. I then stand up and walk over to the door, opening it, only to find someone standing in the doorway, about to open the door their selves. I come face to face with Alfred.
"Wolf, follow me. The Headmaster would like to see you." He said, staring at me coldly. I nod, following him out.
"Why does the headmaster want to see me?" I ask, following behind him. Alfred looked over his shoulder at me.
"You will find out when we get there." He said coldly, continuing to walk towards the headmasters office at a fast pace. I follow him, watching the different halls go bye.

"I heard you severely hurt a senior today." Headmaster Zelen said, watching me closely. I looked down at my feet. It wasn't my fault he got hurt that badly. I thought to myself
"Yes, I hurt someone named Walter. I didn't mean to, it was just he was disrespecting Adenine." I say, looking up at headmaster Zelen. He watched me for a few minutes then opened a drawer, taking out a necklace. He stared at it for a minute, then handed it to me.
"This will keep your power in check, only take it off if it's a test or you are in danger." He said, watching as I examine it. It was a regular necklace, other than the gem was a ruby big enough to store about three days worth of magical energy. I put it on, feeling myself weaken.
"Thank you Headmaster. Is this all you wanted me for?" I ask, feeling confused. He reached into the open drawer and took out a paper, closing the drawer and handed me the paper.
"No, you have a new class added onto your already huge schedule. It is a class for high level magic casting. If you can't control your powers by the end of this semester then I will have to personally tutor you." He said, staring into my eyes. I looked down at the paper, seeing my updated schedule.
"Thank you Headmaster. May I leave now?" I ask, feeling drained. He looks at Alfred, who in turn nods.
"Yes, you may leave. Just make sure to be careful Wolf." He said, nodding. I then stand up and walk out of his office, closing the door behind me and walking towards my room, ready to fall asleep.
