Robin was not really into fashion much. In fact, she always made it a point not to be in vogue, if she could help it. Instead, she chose to capitalize upon using different clothing styles to guide first impressions.
To her, clothes were a disguise to throw off pursuers. Robin knew how to become socially invisible. But Robin was also aware of what she could do to capitalize upon appearance. It was this knowledge that she used to fashion Christian's and Keith's new clothes.
While she was observing Christian checking out his new look, Robin failed to notice the seamstress whispering something into Keith's ear. Keith blinked, then smiled mischievously and nodded, passing the lady a small coin pouch. The seamstress beamed with joy, and quietly stepped into a side room.
"The highlight of any person is their most remarkable feature. In this case, it's your brilliant golden blonde curls." Robin explained.
"Thus, even though the other two colors are prevalent, they are muted and darkened in order to contrast and bring out your best features. The brown pants match your eyes, and the silver buttons add a bit of light to the clothes which also contrasts with the hair, as silver is a cooler looking metal than gold."
Robin paused, as she looked over Christian's new appearance with an appraising eye.
"As expected, this is way better." She nodded to herself.
"This is all very well and good, but aren't you forgetting something?" Keith asked, with a smile.
"Me?...Nope. Why? Do you think I've forgotten something?" Robin asked.
"What about your own outfit?" Keith asked.
"I didn't commission one. This was a gift for you two, not for me." Robin shook her head.
"Oh? Hmm, how odd..." Keith pondered.
"What is it?" Robin asked, knowing he wanted her to ask him.
"It seems the seamstress misunderstood your order and also made an outfit for you." Keith grinned.
"What!? I told her not to, though!" Robin exclaimed, in surprise.
"Robin, you're a noble, now. You must think of it from her perspective." Keith admonished. "As the person who gave her the idea to create such a unique look, if she didn't make you a suit, it would offend her pride as a seamstress. Moreover, it wouldn't look good for the creator to disdain wearing his own creation. It would be seen as a statement that you consider this style to be trash unworthy of you."
"Why, of course I didn't mean that!" Robin objected. "I just-"
"Regardless of your intentions, that is how it would appear. Besides, I've already paid for it, so why not just wear it this one time, ey?" Keith grinned, pushing Robin towards a changing room.
Robin looked at Keith, suspiciously. "What's in it for you?" She asked.
"We'll be wearing matching clothes, of course." Keith replied. "Besides, as the hero, shouldn't you be leading when it comes to the fashions?" Robin gave an exasperated sigh.
"Fine! But don't regret it if I end up taking up all the attention." She grumbled. Then she entered the room, and slammed the door behind her, almost on Keith's nose.
Christian glanced over at Keith, who was now visibly glowing with mischief. "I'm impressed. You managed to change his mind so easily." Christian said, giving Keith a thumbs up.
"There's no way I'm gonna let Robin escape the fashion trend that the hero himself began." Keith sniggered. "How do you think he's going to look?"
"I've no idea, but I'm also looking forward to it." Christian chuckled.
A short while later, Robin also emerged. Her outfit was a royal blue overcoat with light blue trim. The vest was also blue, but of a shade which closer matched her eyes. The decorative embroidery was a burnished red gold, embossed with the same symbol as could be found on her sword. Black pants the color of her hair, and gold buttons finished the look. Christian and Keith's eyes widened as they saw Robin's new look.
The black pants made made Robin's legs look long and slender. And the shade of blue made Christian think of the blue cloak that Keith usually wore. The sharp contours and Robin's disgruntled frown made Robin look the very picture of a young general.
"Oho! A heroic figure, indeed! How come I never realized that you were this tall?" Christian asked.
"I am tall enough. It's because you two are head and shoulders taller than me that I can only seem small to you." Robin snorted.
"Any taller, and you would lose your cu-I mean the charms of your youthful appearance." Christian pointed out. 'Lucky I caught myself. I almost called him cute again.'
Robin frowned deeper to hid the blush creeping up on her face. Had he almost called her cute?
"Is it not to your liking? I tried to follow according to the pointers which you had given me." The seamstress asked, noticing her frown.
Robin glanced at her, and looked conflicted. "You did well. It looks very good. It isn't the clothes, but rather, I get the feeling that I will get mercilessly teased by these two, when I head back."
"All that matters is that you're happy with it. Those clothes were made for you. There's nothing to tease about as long as you're handsome." The seamstress chuckled.
"When it comes to handsome men, they are more often teased than not, especially by their colleagues." Robin pointed out. At this, Keith and Christian began to smirk.
"Oh? Then shouldn't you take it as a compliment? The fact that they're teasing you means they acknowledge that you're more handsome than they are. It can be seen as a sign of envy over your good looks."
"Oho?" Robin looked sideways at Keith and Christian with a catty grin. The two men froze, feeling like they had lost the advantage somehow.
"I'll be sure to keep that in mind." Robin smiled cheerfully at the seamstress.

When they emerged from the clothing shop, they decided to go look at the destroyed square where Robin had faced off against the Rhyllos. Much to their surprise, most of the stonework had been fixed as though it had never broken.
"Ah. The magic tower works fast, huh." Keith said, glancing over the recovered square. The shops were back to normal, and most were back up and running again. But Robin noticed the line she had drawn with her sword through the cobblestone was still there. Moreover, it had been roped off.
"What's going on with that cut in the ground?" Robin asked a nearby tower magician. "Can the earth magicians not close it?"
"That's not it." The magician denied. "It's just that, the city council has decided for it to remain as a monument to the battle that was waged here just yesterday, as well as to mark the day the Black Merchant's Guild was fully eradicated. I heard that the hero himself cut that line, so we are rather loathe to destroy it."
""Hoooh?"" Keith and Christian smirked knowingly at Robin. The corner of Robin's mouth twitched, but she thanked the magician for his explanation.
"Ah, by the way, you..." The magician looked pointedly at Robin. Robin tensed, slightly, hoping not to be recognized. "Where on earth did you get those clothes?" He asked.
"Ah-Oh that?" Robin relaxed, relieved. "We got these at ..." She easily gave instructions to the seamstress' tailor shop. At which point, the magician soon ran off to get a sharp new set made for himself.
While Keith and Christian were grinning wickedly at Robin, she looked away and noticed a street food vendor nearby selling crepes. Suddenly she felt like having a taste of the nostalgic flavor.
"Hey, you want some?" Robin pointed at the crepe stand. The two looked over and shuddered, doing their best not to let out a single laugh.
Christian, seeing that Robin wanted to eat what could only be described as a lady's dessert couldn't help but think that Robin had no idea how cute he was. Keith, was trying not to laugh because the mental image of an upright nobleman eating such a sweet was just too funny. Of course, he knew that Robin was a girl, so he didn't find it strange, just incredibly funny.
"Do you two perhaps not like sweets?" Robin asked.
"No, It's fine." Christian quickly recovered control, as expected of a prince. "It's just that I didn't know they made crepes with so much cream here. I was wondering what to do if the cream dropped on my new coat." At this point, every fiber in Christian's body was determined to see the rare sight of Robin eating a crepe.
