Chapter 455: Family
The fairies and humans alike waited with baited breath as Kyera took her place in front of her Zither. The Shadows seemed to deepen like they were seats being occupied in a theater. a tender stroke of the strings made a gentle sound that sent tingles down their backs as Kyera refamiliarize herself with the instrument.
Gods how she had missed this. She began to play, the world around her melted into nothingness. The Zither's gentle music began drawing out her emotions as she poured herself into the strings. Her lips moved parted softly letting soft humming noises join the music.
No words came from her lips as she began getting even more lost in the music. Her heart poured out into those around her as she completed the same exercise that Raina had. Slowly she went through the emotions one after another.
Love, excitement, fear, lost, hope, contentment, fierce protective nature all seemed to transition within the music. A pair of gentle arms wrapped around her waist as she played, and the music changed. It was full of love and contentment, happy and sweet. A light kiss to her neck brought her out of the music.
"You are right where you belong, My Kitten." Clovis whispered into her ear softly.
Kyera looked back at him and smiled. "I know I am. Where my family is, I belong also." He smiled in approval, that fire appearing in his eyes again.
"Exactly." He smiled at her and she at him. Raina walked over and sat beside them, nestling herself into her parents. This was a family.
