As Elaia recovered from what just happened, she asked D, "What did you just say? You're Death? Like Death in a black cloak and a hoodie? Like Death with a scythe? Like Death that looks like a skeleton from our biology class?"
D narrowed his eyes and said, "Wow! That was a hell lot of stereotyping! I don't wear a cloak, I wear a coat. I don't have a freakin' scythe, because no soul would come near me if I possess one. And Elaia Chase, do I look like a fuckin' skeleton you assemble and disassemble in your fuckin' biology tackling about what's the largest bone from a human's skeletal system? And by the way. The answer is femur. You're welcome!"
Elaia doesn't know whether to cry or to laugh, "You're quite knowledgeable about our bio class huh?"
"I lived for more than a thousand years. It's either I'm dumb or living under a rock If I haven't even got a clue about the worldly issues!" D exclaimed.
Elaia was about to rebut but her phone made a sound which means that it is currently dead battery.
"What was that?!" D asked and was now in a fighting stance.
Yeah. Talk about someone who lived for more than thousand of years.
Elaia rolled her eyes and mumbled, "Death was afraid of a dead battery." Is anything can be more ironic than that?
"Dead Battery?! I haven't got a notice that someone with the name "Battery" died!" D said, and was clearly confused.
"No, D. It's just my phone." Elaia stated.
"Who's Phone?!" D asked.
Elaia wants to facepalm herself. With D being here, this is going to be a looooong trip. And she hoped that she brought a lot of patience with her.
She's going to need a whole lot of it. Really.
