Chapter 7: Superman's Kryptonite
After her consultation with Doctor Arion, Elaia left immediately. She needed to pack her things in order for her to be ready to go to Arizona.
Doctor Arion said to her that they might stay for a whole month in Arizona.
As Elaia left the doctor's office, Arion gazed at her retreating figure and sighed. Then he heard someone knocking at his door. He said "Come in."
Then he saw Jane peeking through the gap of the already opened door and said "Still busy Doc?"
"Not anymore. Why?" he asked his assistant.
Jane is a nurse from the hospital that were given to him by the higher ups to be his personal assistant to manage his schedule and every patient's documents.
"You seemed to be very busy this past few weeks, and I just received a memo that you'll be filing a leave for a whole month from work which is quite unusual for you. Given that you're a certified workaholic." she answered.
He chuckled lightly and said "Am I not entitled for a leave? You're making me appear as if I'm a superman."
"Uh huh. And your kryptonite is definitely Miss Chase." Jane said in a teasing manner and giggled. She knows that Arion likes this special patient of his. That is why he has done everything in order to cure this girl's illness. And now, he even filed a month long leave.
She really do ship the two. She even called their love tandem as ElaRion.
The light blush on Arion's cheeks were a huge giveaway that him liking Elaia is true. So Jane continued teasing him, "Look who's blushing. The legendary Arion!" Then she laughed because the light blush earlier on Arion became a dark shade of pink that even reached his ears.
"Stop with your teasing already, Jane. And you better not tell Elaia. I don't want her to act awkwardly in front of me." he said. He admits that he really likes Elaia. But his priority is to find her a cure first before confessing his true feelings.
This one month being with her will really be a true challenge for this gentleman.
