"O-M-G Chloe, did you hear about Denzel's birthday party?" One girl screamed while the one picked at her manicured nails. She gave a nod to her friend in reply. The two were located in the courtyard of the school, waiting for the bell to ring.
Suddenly, Chloe perked up, turning towards her friend, she whispered in her ear. "Ree Ree isn't that Jeremy Wong!" Her eyes following his well-toned body. "And he's with Denzel Desoka!"
Ree Ree nodded furiously.
The two male teenagers are the envy of the entire male population. Jeremy was their school's self-proclaimed bad boy. Wearing black tees, jeans, and sneaks, he matched the description perfectly with his motorcycle and leather jacket. He was a total "hottie" with his cunning eyes and killer smirks. Along with a smart mouth and black locks he could charm the pants off any girl. Denzel was the captain of their football, basketball, baseball, and soccer teams. Multitalented at sports and a comedic man, girls threw themselves at him. He had short blonde hair and ocean blue eyes that could melt the crabbiest lady's heart. Coupled with his easy-going personality and short-sightedness many girls took advantage of him.
"Back off nerd!" The two girls woke up to reality. There they saw the two males pushing a younger smaller female. Marianne Suezan. The nerd of their school. The sarcastic nobody. She could've been popular however her horrid fashion taste and weirdness kept her away. Brown hair and green eyes, potential fashion material used for nothing.
"Boys! You know that throwing trash on the floor is littering! You could get fined for that! Make sure you throw it in the trash after you're... done with it." A snicker could be heard.
Everyone in the courtyard became silent. Their eyes darting towards the Queen Bee. Fallyn LaClaire. The cheerleader and literal queen of the school. Blonde hair, blue eyes, tan skin, hourglass figure, every boy desired her.
She moved forward, her heels clicking and clacking on the sidewalk. Roughly grabbing Marianne's chin, she made a sympathetic expression. "Darling, you are so," lengthening the so, "annoying like a little roach that won't go off on its own merry way. Haven't you heard the memo? It says 'F!ck off.'"
Marianne struggled to hold in her crying. Tears welled up in her eyes and she began to shake quietly.
The onlookers made no move to help her less they risk themselves to the similar treatment.
Just as the clock struck twelve, a sudden beep was heard.
"What just happened?"
"Did you hear a beep?"
"Wait, so it wasn't just me?'
"Yo! It wasn't just a beep it was like BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!"
"I know right. It was so weird."
Nobody noticed the small green figure floating above the water fountain in the center of the courtyard. "Ahem!" No one gave it a glance. "Ahem!" It grew frustrated. "AHEM!" The students looked at the creature.
It had two menacing yellow eyes, sharp bucked teeth, and two wrinkly wings protruding from its back. It wore brown rags and had a commanding aura surrounding it. If a human was to describe it, it could be called a goblin mixed fairy with dwarf like characteristics. "Now that I hav-"
"MONSTER!"
"Mickey! Hide me!"
"What the f!ck is that?"
"SILENCE! YOU PEOPLE ARE SO ANNOYING!" It exclaimed while stomping its foot in the air. "As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, my name is Ruddy! I will be supervising your section until the tutorial ends!"
The students muttered to each other in confusion.
Ruddy glared at them until they quieted. "Now I understand your confusion." Its high pitched voice said. "But you still have to do this. I'm gonna finish my introduction now, I am a half-goblin, half-swamp fairy halfling. You are all gonna respect me if you want to live through the first phase of the tutorial which is getting instructions."
"Right now, the entire Earth is under my race's supervision until you exit tutorial mode. Of course, we aren't going to "nuke" your planet or anything silly like that. [The System] will decide what happens to your race if you fail the tutorial.
Now, where was I? Haven't done this in so long. Ahh yes! [The System] grants you abilities, you can say. If you think about your status, you will see an image appear in your field of vision."
The students each followed the creature's instructions. The image popped up on each teen's field of vision.

"Now that you have all seen your stats, you may notice that they aren't all exactly the same. But that's to be expected since you're all different in your own ways." Ruddy cackled. He eyed the mostly terrified students.
He scratched his dirty chin with a long dirty fingernail. "Now then, to explain these things... have fun on your own. I'm pretty sure simple things like stats are self-explanatory if not then well get a geek to teach you. Titles can be gained after each [Game] but aren't given every time and only one title may be used at any time. You can switch titles..." He paused for a solid few seconds. "Never mind, I won't tell you until I'm sure you survive the tutorial. Class means your job. Race ranks are very important if it reaches a certain number than [The System] will use your race for a not so happy purpose." His eyes lost focus.
"Hey, Mister! Is that what happened to your race? Is this why you're watching us?"
"No. Thankfully no. Our kind merely received a penalty, not a punishment. Anyhow, affiliation is who you stand with, good, evil, humans, demons, depends on who you decide to pledge yourself to."
As I mentioned before," he floated around. "each [Game] is filled with [Phases] and [Stages] that you can check at any time. For example." He snapped his green fingers.
A pop-up box appeared in the crowd's vision.

"As you can see, there are two phases and a total of 4 stages in the first phase. Note, that the second phase will never have more than the number of stages in the first phase. Each time you complete a [Game] you will get a reward. The reward of [A Skill] can differ per person. The goal normally changes with every stage. So far, we have done two out of the four explanations which are stats and the [Game]. I still have to explain our life and death policy than we can move to phase two."
At the mention of life and death, the student's faces paled like ghosts. "That got all of you scared huh?" He let out a cackle.
"I'm pretty sure our life and death policy is pretty simple, you die here you die forever unless there is a special condition that will be stated in the [Game]. These situations are very rare so don't count on them. Oh look the [Phase 1] is complete. I hope to see as many of you as possible for Phase 2!" He turned around and began to enter a green golden retriever sized hole.
"Wait a minute! You didn't explain everything! What is equipment?"
"What are companions?"
"What is [The System]?"
"What is our next goal?"
