Chapter 26: Cultivation Goals
Alex had calculated that with his current cultivation speed, it would take him around three months to create another heaven-defying act.
Reaching the peak of the semi-devil and demigod realm would take much longer than when he created his foundations and reached the peak of the Earth realm. You could say these two realms also reinforced the earlier foundations he had created.
He had also discovered another fascinating result of his cultivation. After he broke through to the second realm in the four paths, he gained the ability to cultivate two paths at one time almost instinctively.
The first time it happened, he thought it was by accident but after that event, every time he cultivated the god path, his devil path cultivation manual would automatically start with it simultaneously. Vice versa, when he cultivated the devil path cultivation manual, the god path cultivation manual ran alongside it automatically.
Oddly enough, He didn't find the same results when he cultivated the body path or the soul path. After asking the system for a reason, he got a wait time of two years and ninety days for the investigation to finish and gave up for right now.
The stronger he was, the more he would understand.
Alex was sitting in his new temporary cultivation room. Lara had given him a house not far from the chief's headquarters, it was a two bedroom cabin with a bathroom and a cultivation den. If Alex had one thing to be glad about, it was that even though this civilization was years behind modern Earth in terms of modern technology, they had had long mastered plumbing and water irrigation technology.
Starting another round of cultivation, Alex started circulating his Five-Transformations origin qi. Natural energy slowly surged towards him in streams as thick as a child's wrist. Soon after, beams of heavenly energy descended like rays into his body, matching the streams of natural energy.
The nine sun godly qi had also started to circulate within him. A feeling of comfort spread and Alex closed his eyes, this felt better than smoking. Clouds of energy started forming around Alex while he cultivated, giving him an otherwordly look.
Deep within the body, Alex's dantian was undergoing marvelous changes with every second he cultivated. However, he felt it still wasn't fast enough. If anyone else were to hear his thoughts, they might want to die from jealousy. Not everyone was so lucky to be able to cultivate at his current speed.
Alex had figured out after a couple of days' cultivation that at his current speed, he could grow 6 acres of devil origin land a day and increase the size of his nine suns by 4 inches a day. At this rate, by the end of the three month period he had sent for himself, he would only reach the 5th rank of the second realm.
The devil origin world had already expanded to 28 acres, and the nine suns had grown to 68 inches. You could say he was making good progress, but he was hungry for more. Right now, there was nothing he could do about it. He could only move his plans back and try for six months. That time would still be able to work with Plan Sparta, and at the same time, keep him from rushing the reinforcement of his foundations.
At the current rate, it would take Alex another thirty-three days to break through the second rank. Afterwards, his speed of cultivation would increase considerably. He guessed that from then on, it would take him from around 12 to 17 days to break through the next rank.
The goal that he had set up for himself right now was to reach the peak of the first rank of the demigod and semidevil realm. To do that, the nine suns and the world within his dantian had to reach 199 inches and 199 acres in size.
He had noticed that when he absorbed natural energy to cultivate, it would now automatically be refined into Five-transformations natural qi, and after he refined the Five-transformations natural qi into Five-transformations origin qi with the origin world devil technique, the devil origin world would quickly devour the new refined origin qi to create more land and grow.
It was much simpler when he absorbed heavenly energy. His dantian would refine it automatically into heavenly qi, which would be absorbed by the nine suns and turned into Nine sun qi for him to use.
As a result, Alex would gain more power. The larger the devil origin world grew, the more miracles it would produce. It was only in the embryonic form currently, and would only leave the embryonic form when it reached 300 acres.
After figuring out the objective of cultivation in the second realm, Alex changed some things around on his devil origin land and gave it more structure. This was how he discovered that his foundation became more refined and pure simply by adding some thought to how he grew the devil origin world instead of just letting it grow wildly.
The first thing he tried doing was creating a source origin for each of the transformations in his dantian. He got this idea after observing how the world was forming while cultivating. The initial growth was somewhat chaotic with some smaller pools of magma forming inside of forest areas, and small canyons forming in the middle of hills.
Alex first grabbed and moved a couple of minerals and rocks that had long formed in the devil origin world to create a deep well in the center of the world. Then he moved all of the water in the world into that well and named it the source water well. Alex then grabbed and moved a random hill to materialize under the well, and named it Source Lightning Mountain.
As soon as he was done, the world seemed to fluctuate as if something important had been accomplished. Alex felt satisfied with the result, in the future, this mountain would grow to be the tallest in the devil origin world with the water source well at the resting at the peak. It would catch all the lightning in the sky and provide the whole world with water.
Alex still had more sources that he could build in the devil origin world, specifically, he had three more to build. After thinking for a while, Alex figured he could just find a special item in the world that corresponded to a source and name it as such.
Pretty soon, he found the tree he had seen a while ago. It was the tallest and widest tree sprout in the world, and it gave Alex a familiar feeling. For this reason, Alex felt that it was the first tree that sprouted in this world, and named it the ancient tree wood source.
Afterward, Alex focused on the nine suns and simply named them the nine suns fire source. There was only one source left, this one kind of gave Alex a headache as he couldn't think of a representative right of his head. After racking his brain, he simply sighed and formed a bird made of soul energy from his soul crystal.
Once the bird popped up in the devil origin world, it flapped its wing and with a gust of wind, took off. Alex named the bird the soul bird wind source, and immediately powerful gust of wind spread through the world, followed by nine blinding rays of light, and the sound of tree branches whistled in the distance.
The strategic structuring of the devil origin land revealed Alex's deep understanding of cultivation. Creating source origins for each transformation in his dantian and naming them, such as the Source Water Well and Source Lightning Mountain, demonstrated a newfound level of control and refinement in his cultivation.
The incorporation of special items birthed in the devil origin world like the ancient tree wood source and the soul bird wind source further enriched the devil origin world. Alex's meticulous planning and attention to detail reflected a maturing cultivation philosophy, enhancing the purity and power of his foundation.
Alex smirked slightly, he was satisfied with the current commotion happening in his dantian. As he had successfully established all five sources in the devil origin world, Alex could now concentrate on expanding the world and ascending in cultivation rank.
The journey ahead promised not only increased strength but also the unlocking of greater mysteries within the realms of cultivation.
Just like that, three months of cultivation quietly passed by...
