80 dull notifications rang out one after another as Alex opened the wooden chests one by one.

"Not bad, Not bad," Alex thought as he looked at the new number of GDPs at the top right interface of the system. He gained a total of 162,000GDPs from opening all of the mortal treasure chests, adding to the 26,989GDPs he already had, giving him a new total of 188,989GDPs.
Alex turned his attention back to the storage room. The rows of wooden chests had disappeared and in their place were two small spirit stones and a short iron sword. Alex will his mind and begin moving them around to make things more convenient.
Shortly after, a pile of small spirit stones formed near the small pile of great, high, and mid-grade spirit stones, made of 162 small spirit stones in total. Looking at the pile of great and high spirit stones, Alex saw two small spirit stones lying in there.
"Oh."
Alex forgot about the change he'd gotten from the chubby manager Hall. Focusing on the small pile, he moved the two small spirit stones over to the new pile of small spirit stones he had just made. In conjunction with order, Alex also moved the mid and high-grade spirit stones into new piles as well.
Now there were four individual piles of spirit stones in the storage room for each grade, 9 Great Spirit Stones, 9 High grade spirit stones, 8 Mid grade spirit stones, and 164 Small spirit stones.
After moving the spirit stones around, Alex neatly moved the short iron swords into 9x9 stacks. Once everything looked nice and neat, Alex felt satisfied with his "hard" work.
Turning his attention to the two rows of valuable bronze chests, Alex rubbed his hands eagerly.
"Open!"
The lid of the first bronze chest to the very left of the first row quietly rose.

"That's more normal," Alex secretly let out a relieved sigh, those 81 notifications from earlier really hit him where it hurt.
The thought that the system would only give him the same loot over and over again was enough to ruin his mood for a week, but now he had at least confirmed that that was either the system messing with him or that just the loot for mortal wooden chests were the same.
"It seems the amount of god and devil points stay consistent thought, so the precious silver chest should all give out 180,000 GDPs," Alex thought, he couldn't help but look forward to when he could farm silver chest.
Now that he had a total of 388,989GDPs in his pocket to spend, Alex couldn't wait to open the cultivation technique section of the system. In a heartbeat, he picked out the second levels of the Origin World Devil Technique, Nine Suns Godly Being Technique, and the Smiling Laughing Joy Soul Technique.

The land in Alex's dantian slowly started growing bigger inches by inches, a steady thin stream of five-transformation origin qi flowed into the earth before spreading out into the grass, trees, and water. While the natural qi Alex refined was being turned into the origin qi for his devil world, Alex was also absorbing heavenly energy. The Heavenly energy moved towards the nine suns hanging high up in his dantains.
That's right, Alex was two-timing his cultivation. Using the second level of his Nine Suns Godly Being Technique, Alex refined the heavenly energy into heavenly qi for his nine suns to absorb and grow.
"Ahhhh, This feels great!" Alex subconsciously thought as a steady stream of heavenly and natural energy flowed into his body. If only he had seen the look of horror on the faces of Jeffrey and the others as they felt the massive amount of energy flowing into his room.
"What a monster!" The Village Chief Lara sat at a wooden desk with a terrified face as she felt the disturbance in the surrounding energies.
"Whoa, That's master for you!" Dragon Sr looked towards Alex's room in awe.
"Master's crazy," Emperor Jr trembled slightly as he looked in Alex's direction.
"..." Hell Jr silently turned his head to face Alex's direction before focusing back on the sigil in his hands.
"..." Heaven Jr also looked towards Alex's room with a bewildered look.
"Master!" A spark of flames ignited continuously as Fire Jr stared toward Alex's room with a gleam in her eyes.
This feat that caused such a disturbance among the village chief's headquarters was only possible because Alex had reached the peak of the Earth realm, or else just the pressure alone from absorbing two different kinds of energy would have left him crippled.
Alex had figured this would happen and controlled how much heavenly and natural energy he absorbed, or else the entire hidden cloud village would be in full-blown panic.
Although he could cultivate faster by fully using his absorption ability, he would also quickly exhaust the heavenly and natural energy in the area. This way at leat, he could increase his cultivation steadily and leave enough energy for his disciples and Jeffrey to cultivated as well.
