Chapter 22: Bask with me in Glory
A big smile formed on Alex's face at this sight, "Jeffrey, You've finally broken through to the Third Realm."
"Yes, Your Highness!" Jeffrey looked genuinely happy. He was finally able to take the next step after receiving The Heavenly Devil Technique from Alex. He was naturally very satisfied and more motivated than ever to bring about the Highness's wishes to fruition.
Alex looked at the smiling Jeffrey in thought. Jeffrey had reached rank 1 in the Sublime God realm, as well as the Noble Devil realm thanks to his cultivation technique, becoming a Heavenly Devil. The power in his body was enough to crush multiple experts in the kingdom.
The Heavenly Devil Cultivation Technique was separated into 7 Realms. They were Angel, Fallen, Heavenly Devil, Heavenly Master, Devilish Sage, Devilish Saint, Paragon.
With this in mind, Alex said these next words boldly.
"Jeffrey, from this day forward, you shall no longer be my Butler but my Personal Assistant. You will bask with me in glory for all Eternity!"
Jeffrey was stunned by Alex's statement and tears formed around his vision making the room become blurry. Everyone in the meeting room was looking at him to see what his next move would be. Jeffrey smiled at Alex and stood up from his chair, "I will always be your Butler, Your Majesty."
Alex smiled back before nodding gently, taking that statement as Jeffrey's acceptance. After Jeffrey sat down, Alex once again looked around the room in satisfaction at the day's events.
"This is your reward for completing the mission, you may split it amongst yourselves." With a wave of his left hand, a pile of glowing treasures appeared on the table. This the pile he stuffed in his storage interface after killing the panda king.
An assortment of Small and Mid Grade Spirit Stones, as well as some weapons and martial techniques.
"But Master, You've already helped up with our cultivation," Thunder Jr was dumbfounded.
Alex smiled, "That was merely my duty as your Master, nothing more." Alex watched his disciples pick apart the pile of treasure excitingly. The village chief Lara could only watch with envy and her weird glances at Alex turned into a burning gaze.
Dragon Sr didn't take much and only took a handful of mid and small-grade spirit stones. Beast Jr took a simple silver ax with a long handle wrapped in red cloth from the pile. He also took a Jade Slip with the Martial Technique, Flurried Axe Battle Technique.
Sword Jr took a couple of mid and small-grade spirit stones and a sharp long black sword with graceful gold lines designed into the hilt. Thunder Jr took some of the spirit stones and a jade slip containing the Three Fist One Strike Battle Technique.
Ice Jr also reached for a share of the spirit stones before grabbing a short wooden bow. Beautiful lines were detailed onto the bow, making it a handcrafted masterpiece. Emperor Jr gladly reached for a pile of mid-grade spirit stones, and a long green spear.
Holding the spear by his side, Emperor Jr reached for a Jade Slip, it contained the Basic to Advance Battle Spear Techniques Manual. Hell Jr coldly grabbed some spirit stones and nodded at his brother, notifying him he was done picking.
Heaven Jr also only grabbed some spirit stones from the pile and pushed the rest of the pile to Fire Jr with a wave of his hands. Fire Jr looked at what was left and took the remaining pile of spirit stones, as well as a violet and red saber, and a Jade Slip with the Continuous Saber Strike Technique.
Alex turned to the village head once his disciples finished distributing their spoils, "Where are my Quarters?"
"We've prepared your room Upstairs, Your Highness, "Lara replied somewhat quietly. She was no doubt in shock from the proceedings she witnessed from this group in the meeting room.
"Very Well, "Alex looked at the group, "Dismissed! We will meet here again at the same time."
"Yes, Master!" Resided Through The Room. Alex stood up and started for the door, "Jeffrey, lead me to my quarters."
"Yes, Your Highness, "Jeffrey stood up and opened the door behind him, letting Alex walk out before following after him.

Once Alex settled into his average-sized simple room, he took in a deep breath and let out a long sigh. Looking around the room, he was reminded that he was far away from the lavish palace in the capital.
The room was small in comparison, only having a soft wooden bed and a wooden dresser. Different from his massive room back in the capital or even back on Earth. However, this gave Alex a cozy feeling, reminding him of a time before he gained success and wealth back on Earth.
"Ok, Time to see my rewards," Alex pulled himself back from memory lane and thought happily. He had silenced and hadn't checked his system notifications for the past 10 days, knowing it would only be a giant distraction.
Opening the system, Alex opened his missed notifications. He had 91 new notifications waiting for him. Alex was shocked.

These 10 notifications were from Jeffrey's battle, Alex could tell from the realms of the opponents. The remaining notifications were from the disciples' battles, and they only gave a mortal wooden chest.
So in total, Alex had 81 Mortal Wooden Chests and 10 Valuable Bronze Chests. He was momentarily dumbfounded and shaking with excitement. Things were going according to plan so far.
Alex accepted all of the chests and opened the storage interface in the system. The familiar storage room appeared in his mind, 8 rows of wooden chests arranged in neat lines behind another 2 rows of bronze chests neatly lined met his grinning sight.
Opposite the orderly chests was the purple Thunderbolt Sword quietly resting on a little purple pillow, a small pile of High and Mid grade Spirit Stones and a bunch of Jade Slips making up every Technique or Knowledge he'd ever bought from the system.
Focusing first on the wooden to the very left on the third row, Alex thought, "Open!"
