Chapter 3: Chapter 3 - Weed Village
After about two hours of walking on a dirt road, Charles arrived at a village with fields covered with weeds except the earstern side.
"Unhearable Chattering." could be heard from the villagers in the fields while pointing towards Charles with looks being a mix of curosity and fear. Charles ignores them walking with his back straight and a glum look on his face.
"Howdy stranger." Says a middleaged man with a another young man by his side, most likely his son since they both had a flat nose at least a size bigger than Charles's nose.
"Yes what is it." Answers Charles in a relaxed but uninterested tone to transmit a air of confidence.
"Well I could hear ya tummy rumble a good distance away and I wanted to offer you a deal. These old bones need a break and your robust statue tells me you can do weeding almost a well as I can do it. Clear out the weeds in the fields together with ma boy and you can score yourself lunch so how about it?"
Rumble. Charles blushed in embassement at having no restraint as a modern person used to three meals a day but agreed at once with "Alright that sounds like a deal to me."
Charles sweated under the baking sun with cuts on his fists and soon after he began he understood why removing the weeds is so important. Unlike earths pests in form of a plant on earth is only preventing the growth of crops by absorbing the nutrients in the soil, the weeds near Weed Village are razor sharp and is causing injuries or even death to the playful children of the village.
While lost in his thought Charles got suddenly interupted by a screams from a young couple working in a field on the otherside of the dirt path. "Bandits are attacking us!"
