Chapter 50: Original Recipe
It's been about three months since Yin Yu start learning alchemy again with both of his parents guiding him. He has been creating poison and medicine respectively, and his parents concluded that he has almost 90% chance of success when he concocts a pill which makes both of them amazed.
Of course, Yin Yu didn't always succeed as he will also fail from time to time. The first time he fails, he unconsciously asks his parents for a solution which his parents teach him because they want to spoil their son once in a while. But soon, after they see Yin Yu ask them every time he run into problem, they stop guiding him as guiding him excessively would only make his ability to think of solution by himself deteriorated, which make them stop giving guidance to Yin Yu and ask him to think by himself and only ask them after he truly didn't find any other solution.
From that day on, Yin Yu start to think of every problem he had faced when he's concocting, and albeit it's a little slow compared when he asked from his parents, the sense of accomplishment he feels after he successfully found a solution make him feel proud as he solve it by himself without relying on his parents.
The day passed peacefully as 16 hours of Yin Yu days were filled with practicing alchemy which makes his alchemy skill improve by leaps and bounds. Yin Yu success can be attributed to his talent, but one mustn't forget about the cauldron he uses to reach his success.
In fact, it's mainly because the cauldron fire was easy to control which let him able to easily success on his concocting. Yin Yu has also know that the cauldron which his father gift was the reason why he can easily succeed in concocting as he had tried to control other cauldron fire and he concluded that the cauldron fire which he has was much tamer than the other.
Looking at the cauldron again, Yin Yu realize that this cauldron is nameless and decide to call it Weiss Nieve which in his language means Yin Cauldron as he can feel that this cauldron is unique, mainly because he has seen that both of his parents face difficulty when they try to control his cauldron fire which can be seen wilder than when controlled by him.

Today, Yin Yu has finally finish concocting all Qi grade medicine, poison, and cultivation pill that he can concoct when he's at 3rd stage of Qi Condensation, which is, of course, is most of the pill that can only be concocted by other people when they have at least reach 6th stage of Qi Condensation.
Yin Yu should feel happy right now as he was able to concoct many pills and most of it even reach good state while some of it has reached beautiful state. Yet, it's not happiness that revealed on his face but dissatisfaction, he feels that what he does now can't be called alchemy, he feel that something is lacking, and soon, he figured out what's lacking.
"It's too easy."
After seeing success after success, even Yin Yu become numb on it and start to wish for failure so he can think of the problem which gives him much more sense of accomplishment after he succeeds in concocting it.
Even so, every pill he concocted always ended up with success, success, and even more success! As time goes on, which makes him think that what he learned is not alchemy but copying! Yes, copying... as Yin Yu can concoct most pill just by following the recipe which makes him dissatisfied with it.
Yin Yu also confess his problem to his parents which make them look at him with a blank look. Both of his parents look at each other face for a while and then smile bloom on their face, and both of them answer Yin Yu at the same times while Yin Yu who heard his parents word suddenly gain enlightenment.
"Why don't you try to make your original recipe?"
Right, that's what his parent says and what makes Yin Yu feel that he's stupid for now thinking about it. Basically, what his parents say to him was 'If you don't like to copy, then create your own!'. Most recipe comes from predecessor and improved by their descendant while some are self-created and passed down to next generation.
Yin Yu who get the idea of creating his original recipe, his one, and only recipe, the recipe which truly belongs to him!. Become so excited that he walks straight to the alchemy room.
"What kind of pill did I want to create…?"
Yin Yu who has got into alchemy room immediately stop his track after this question appears on his mind. Yes, what kind of pill did he want to create? Poison, medicine, or cultivation related pill? Yin Yu think for a while and scratch cultivation related pill as he didn't really understand about cultivation for now because of his low cultivation realm which makes him wonder whether he should create medicine or poison.
"Poison or medicine…"
Yin Yu sit down cross-legged while he thinks whether he wants to create a new poison or medical pill, and soon, he starts to ponder what kind of pill should he create if he decides on poison and what kind of pill should he create if he decides on medicine.
The question makes him sit cross-legged doing nothing for a full day, and when he opened his eyes, he feels that inspiration has burst into his mind as he suddenly laughs to the sky.
"Why should I decide on either poison or medicine? Why didn't I think of mixing both of them?"
"In the recipe which I had read before, there are also others who use the medical herb to enhance poison and poison to heal someone, then why can't I do the same?"
"Why do I need to ponder so hard about it?"
"How can I, the Ki- no… How can I, the Mad Alchemist get limited by poison or medicine!"
"I'm going to make a pill which makes people feel relaxed."
"I'm going to make a pill which makes people unable to feel pain."
"And…"
"Little Yu!"
Yin Yu who heard his mother voice immediately stop his words and unknowingly, the door of alchemy room has opened while his mother calls him immediately say.
"Pack everything you need including your weapon and your cauldron. You don't need to pack for other necessities as mom will give you storage ring which has been filled with clothes, preserved food, and other daily items."
"Both mom and dad will wait for you at the entrance. So, hurry up and come to the entrance after you've finished packing."

YuKosaka All hail Chapter 50!, how I wish this is the end of Volume 1 yet it's not possible...
But, my desire for writing longer chapter was stopped by Yin Ying....
