Chapter 169: The Face Behind the Red Mask (Part 2)

[That's right! Heal!] Moving around his eyes, Fu Tao looked at Mingyue's figure with his fiery eyes – a pair of eyes that would devour a little child if one wasn't careful.

[Little Yue is a healer, hence she should be able to heal me, right? Even if someone says the otherwise, I will not believe it.]

Taking a few steps backwards, Mingyue wrinkled her nose while glared, "Don't be bad, smelly tofu. Or I will report it to little Yun! Humph humph!"

[WHO WANT TO BE BAD! HEAL! MAKE THIS PAIN LESSER! HEAL MEEEEE!!!]

With the word 'Liao Yun', he was forced to calm down.

Opening a gap between his teeth, Fu Tao tried very hard to voice his word, "Hi. . . hi. . . hi. . . hi. . . hi. . . hi. . ." His words were stuttered and fragmented, making it harder to recognize. But unfortunately, that was the only word he could only say. All his willpower was focused on resisting the existing pain.

(Author's Note: Half of the word 'heal', but I decide on hi.)

Making a sour face, Mingyue had a little pitying gaze which was shot toward the curling Fu Tao, "Smelly tofu. . . don't make such creepy laugh. . . even little Yun will not like it. . . And I tell you to not laugh with a face like that in front of little Yun. . . It's. . . It is creepy"

[LAUGH?? LAUGH YOUR DOG! LAUGH YOUR DEER! LAUGH YOUR DEAD BRAIN! WHO THE HELL IS LAUGHING!!!!]

Gritting his teeth even harder, Fu Tao forced himself to turned his face toward Mingyue and directly looked at the latter's eyes. With many difficulties, he re-tried to convey the message with his eyes, his convincing eyes. He winked while rolling his eyes toward his hands in his embrace.

But alas, Mingyue was planning to tease Fu Tao again, thus she replied, "Oh? Are you wounded? It hurts? Why don't you say it earlier. . ."

Mingyue had no qualm about healing his hands. In fact, she was planning to do so. But she wouldn't feel satisfied if she just repaired his hands without expecting something?

She was a humble little girl without any desire, not to mention any worldly thing. She had transcended humanity and reached the same stage as Buddha. Her will is of the Heaven, and her kindness was as wide as earth.

But even so, only one exception, one little thing – she wanted to watch an interesting reaction.

[FINALLY! AT LAST!] Fu Tao screamed in his mind, wanting to cry in gratitude while not knowing what inside Mingyue's mind. He could only think about his aching hands.

But on contrary to his expectation, Mingyue only patted his cheek and head while saying, "Sigh. I don't find any abnormality with your eyes. Perhaps, you want to check your brain instead? It is clear that your hands are in bad condition, but you only care about your eyes. Stop your blinking, smelly tofu, your stupidity is contagious – I don't want to be stupid."

Mingyue said with straight expression, the most serious expression he ever saw.

He had given up. . . it was useless. . .

Something warm welled inside Fu Tao's chest, but it was not something comfortable and stuffed his chest. In fact, that warm feeling was transferred into his neck, and in the end, he couldn't hold it in.

"Hoeeeek. . ."

A disgusting liquid was puked out from Fu Tao's mouth – a yellowish and brownish coloured liquid along with some trace of black blood. Not only that, but also a weird and disgusting stench which could repulse anyone lingered in the air and shrouded Fu Tao's body.

"Smelly tofu!" Mingyue moved back a few steps while glaring and covering her tiny nose, "You smelly tofu! Dirty tofu! I know you are smelly, but I never think that it is this bad!"

"Also. . . Also. . . dont shit from your mouth. . ."

As if facing something disgusting, Mingyue waved her hands around to diminish the killing stench, but it was futile – like a curse. It might be bearable for anyone else, but not for Mingyue. With her enhanced sense of smell, it was as if the puke was thrown directly into her face.

"Aaah. . . I feel better. . ." Even though Fu Tao's face was paler, he had a refreshing smile on his face. Some of his old internal wound and clotted blood inside was thrown out of his body with this puke, making him felt better. Also, making him forget about both of his hand's condition.

And of course, he didn't hear what Mingyue just said earlier.

The internal wound wasn't a foreign concept as it was very possible. But different from an external wound, an internal wound was harder to heal. In fact, it was almost impossible to remove the internal wound if one only depended on one's regeneration.

The simplest way to remove the internal wound was asking for a high-level healer – not only completely heal the internal organ, but also remove every foreign substance like internal blood clotting or even an almost undetectable toxic substance.

But the number of the high-level healer was considered very rare – even rarer than a Great Spell User, a level higher than Spell User.

Hence, people would usually depend on medicinal concoction to remove most of the internal wound, or they would leave the wound as it was – wishing that the wound would be healed by the passed time. But in some case, the internal wound would leave some life-lasting side effect, making one's body deteriorated and never reached the peak of one's physical condition.

And for Fu Tao, it was considered a big jackpot since black blood inside his body was out of his body – improving his health by a little margin. But even so, it was still a big jackpot.

So, it wasn't weird for Fu Tao to smile, feeling satisfied even to forget his own condition.

"You! You bad tofu! Smelly tofu! Bad egg! You dare to laugh!" Mingyue glared at Fu Tao while pouting, but the latter sure didn't pay any attention toward Mingyue. Faced with such blatant negligence, tears welled up on her eyes and she ran toward Liao Yun. "Buuhuuuu. . . Smelly tofu is smelly! Also, he is puking over there! No, he is shitting with his mouth! And he is only laughing. . ."

Not far from Fu Tao's location, Liao Yun was done with the fight. Unlike Fu Tao, her fight was much more direct – not caring about the existence of the red mask.

From the fallen ex-Fatty Pig's corpse which was lied down, all over the corpse was full of bruise and swollen body, along with dented armour from top to bottom – the result of Liao Yun's fist. There was no any trace of blood on the corpse, but it was badly mangled over here and there, crushed bones and broken limbs, making it didn't look like a man.

Even though the mask wasn't broken, it was removed from the corpse by accident, making the fight ended earlier than expected.

And of course, Liao Yun felt dissatisfied even though she was satisfied with the hard fight.

On the other side, Liao Yun didn't come out unscathed. While most of the wound was superficial, her whole body was mostly filled with bruises and her fists were both swollen until it was deep-purple.

But if one saw the grinning Liao Yun, no one would expect that his wound was shallow. In fact, her fist's condition was worse than Fu Tao.

Even so, she just stood straight – not willing to show her weakness. Her strong and valiant figure once more dazzled the pair of women nearby, Zheng Yi and Peng Zhen.

"Aahn~ my prince, my handsome prince on the white horse~ as expected from my strong prince, no one is capable to defeat you~ . . ." The full of infatuation Zheng Yi was already converted into Liao Yun's worshipper. Her face flushed red and a little feverish. Perhaps, she would create a cult to worship Liao Yun someday in the future.

Peng Zhen was also dazzled, but a little different from Zheng Yi. If Zheng Yi was thinking of Liao Yun's figure, Peng Zhen was dazzled by her fight – the heated fight against someone bigger and stronger while not giving up until the end. Not depending on trickery, not depending on any strong gear, only moved forward with one's fist, one's strength, and in the end, defeated the enemy.

But for Zheng Zhanglie, he didn't even look at Liao Yun, but rather the infatuated Peng Zhen. It was not like Peng Zhen was infatuated like Zheng Yi, but for Zheng Zhanglie, Peng Zheng was attracted along with her feverish gaze. He felt scared, a little lost – fearing that Peng Zhen would decline his advance.

He felt the inferiority if compared with Liao Yun, and he felt the same if compared with Fu Tao. Both were stronger than he was, also they were both still young.

If Peng Zhen used both Liao Yun and Fu Tao as her reason to decline Zheng Zhanglie, Zheng ZHanglie didn't know what to do. Hence, he had no time to look at Liao Yun nor Fu Tao.

While the trio were having their own thought, a small figure was shot toward Liao Yun's stomach.

Bum. . .

"Buuhuuuu. . . Smelly tofu is smelly! Also, he is puking over there! And he is only laughing. . ." With a tight hug, Mingyue wrapped her hands around Liao Yun's waist – not accepting any refusal from Liao Yun.

But on contrary on what Mingyue expected, Liao Yun only gave her a cold smile without saying anything.

Felt that something was wrong, Mingyue raised her head.

"Let's not talking about tofu, but about you first." Liao Yun was taking her time to talk, but her smile was still cold, exuding invincible pressure from her body. "Those four years, those every escapes from the Fierce Beast's chase, was all of that your ruse? Your little game? Your trickeries to play?"

"Un?" Mingyue was a little surprised, but pretending to not understand and played stupid. But sadly, it was not very effective.

"Don't play stupid, little Yue." Liao Yun's smile grew wider along with the pressure she exuded. In case of Mingyue ran away, she hugged back Mingyue – not letting her away. "I will not let you leave unless you answer, little Yue. Don't think to run because I will chase after you."

"No! I don't know anything!" Even so, Mingyue didn't dare to face Liao Yun as she gazed at her side – escaping Liao Yun's questioning gaze.

". . . Don't lie."

"No, I never lie to anyone. . . I am a good girl. . ." But Mingyue's voice grew fainter the more she talked. And in the end, she only mumbled on something as if feeling guilty of something.
