A black blade extended from the top of Rufus' right wrist, surrounded by crimson bolts of crackling energy.

Rufus leaped up, his blade slicing forward toward his enemy. The ground quaked and the air crackled as the blade surged ahead, leaving a trail of sizzling energy.

It seemed the blade was a harbinger of destruction, capable of cleaving through anything in its path.

"Take this!" Rufus roared as the blade closed in on Kiba.

Kiba raised his hand and with a swift movement, intercepted the blade with his thumb and index finger.

BOOM!

A tempest of chaotic energy erupted, unleashing a maelstrom of crimson bolts. Tiles shattered into fragments, and debris danced in the air amidst the turmoil.

"No way!"

Rufus's face turned ashen with disbelief as time seemed to slow, his blade caught between Kiba's fingers. Waves of pressure pulsed from Kiba's grip, coursing through the blade.
