As one could tell, the result of his actions was failure after failure. Even counterclockwise rotation of his four internal energies didn't have the affect of attracting what Cultivators knew as World Qi. It was as if the natural energy of the world existed purely for those born with Spiritual Channels.
From what he could deduce, Internal Qi could be drained from Cultivators and integrated into his four fundamental internal forces as long as it was injected into his body. This meant he had two options: He could either ask a Cultivator to waste their time injecting Internal Qi into his body or go around offending people and draining their Internal Qi mid-battle.
Both of these options were ridiculous so he immediately threw them out of his head once they came to mind. Not only would offending Cultivators for the sake of improvement be stupid, it would also be pretty idiotic for him to reveal this heaven-defying technique. A normal wouldn't think twice about killing a Mortal like him to steal this extremely valuable technique that could allow one to reach the Perfection realm in all four fundamental forces.
He could only feel depressed despite how extremely fortunate his current circumstances are since his end goal of finding a way to cultivate seemed unreachable. Perhaps he may be able to take on a Nascent Forging stage Cultivator in a fair fight now that he's reached the absolute limits of the human body, but just being able to beat up people who merely beginners on the road of cultivation wasn't his goal.
To reach the gates of the Arctic Ocean Dragon Sect, he needed strength beyond that of a mortal. He needed to be able to fight against Core Formation Cultivator despite being a mortal. It is only then will the powerful Cultivators of Arctic Ocean Dragon Sect accept their relationship wholeheartedly.
As such, he couldn't go around courting death through using such a useless cultivation method. Even though he could also rely of Lou Meng to inject Internal Qi into him, he wasn't willing to selfishly hinder his best friend's cultivation in order to derive benefits.
Lou Meng was his own person, and Fang Yun wasn't going to use someone he was so close and familiar with as a stepping stone. He'd rather never meet Chu Rinyu again than to do something he will definitely regret later in life. As a man who has already experienced life and death, he knew well that if people didn't stay true to themselves, they would find themselves losing their way.
Fang Yun discarded his newly created mystical technique with a heavy heart since he now found himself back at square one. Revolving his internal energies didn't work and there was no longer any alternative paths he could think of. It was then that he came to a realisation that perhaps he was looking at this innate problem the wrong way.
Although the use of Spiritual Channels allowed one to cultivate Internal Qi through absorbing World Qi, it didn't stop one from increasing the mass of internal energies within the body.
As his thoughts reached till there, a difficult situation presented itself... The only way to go beyond the four fundamental internal forces' human limits was to abandon one's own humanity. To become an existence that was neither a human or a monster.
Maybe if it was someone else, they would've hesitated to choose this unorthodox path. However, Fang Yun had no choice but to give it a go since there wasn't any other options left for him to choose. If he could increase the amount of Internal Qi he could condense using his four fundamental internal forces, he would be able to one day forge his Spiritual Artifact and become a true Cultivator despite having been born as a Mortal.
He once again entered his sea of consciousness after he stopped revolving his internal energies. This time his inner world seemed to have changed due to the previous methods he used to reach the Perfection realm of his Heart Force and Mind Force. He stared down at the more darker Aura releasing from his Combat Instincts and the radiant Psion water which most his consciousness consisted of.
After using his unorthodox meditation method to reach the Perfection realm all martial artists thrived for, he was able to understand the benefits of having a high amount of Aura and Psion instantly. Having more Psion improved his five senses while having more Aura improved his ability to sense danger and intentions. Meaning his combat prowess quadrupled due to his improved ability to adapt in battle.
He was able to instantly beat those four guards at Blazing Sun City due to having ambushed them before they had the chance to properly utilise their Internal Qi. He was sure that if he had fought them head-on and gave them the chance to gather Qi, he wouldn't have even had the ability to fight back.
Fang Yun didn't come here to observe his fundamental internal forces but to reflect on himself in order to figure out a way to create a technique that could help him become a being beyond mortality. He stood above his sea of consciousness while asking himself one question: 'What do I have that can be used to create such a technique?'
The answer: 'I have the Harmonic Deity's Bone Cleansing and Chaotic Primordial's Spirit Tempering circulation techniques along with the knowledge and experience Alex Stuman gained from his life as a grandmaster martial artist on Earth.'
Then he asked himself a question he had been trying to avoid for a long time: 'Will the Chaotic Dragon's Demonic Horn ancient style and the Harmonic Dragon's Angelic hybrid style be useful on this continent?'
To this second question, he could only respond with a big 'No'. Although the two fighting styles were considered the best of the best on Earth, the Azure Sky Continent on the other hand would consider these styles to be just average.
After reaching this conclusion, there was only one thing he could do to make sure his improvement in the Martial Dao doesn't stagnate: To discard his previous fighting styles and starting over from the beginning from scratch.
This was a painful decision for him to make. However, if he wanted to still keep moving forward, he needed to know when to take a step back. The circulation techniques of his two fighting may be able to be used at the same time, but he couldn't always be switching between different styles in the midst of combat. He needed to take his improved fundamental forces into account and create a new set of basics.
Fang Yun's Martial Dao had improved tremendously when compared to his past life, and there is now one thing he needs to take into account when creating the basics of his new hybrid martial arts: The existence of the four seeds of multiple Daos integrated with his four fundamental internal forces.
Since he was already in his sea of consciousness, he started off by dissecting the meditation techniques derived from his Chaotic Dragon's Demonic Horn style and Harmonic Dragon's Angelic Halo style in order to create two independent meditation techniques that were entirely unique.
Starting off with the Chaotic Dragon's Demonic Horn style's meditation technique, he decided to use his mastery of Kung Fu to fuse the gun of Yin Aura hidden in the depths of his Heart Force and his Combat Instincts.
Kung Fu in his past life mimicked animals, insects and even mystical creatures. This martial art he mastered in his past life was mostly used by Heart Force Martial Artists on Earth but now he was merely using all forms of Kung Fu as merely a foundation so he could improve upon it later on. The animals and mystical crew of the Azure Sky Continent were way stronger than any of the ones on Earth so he was only willing to use the teachings of Kung Fu as the foundation for his Heart Force
The 'Survival' and 'Killing' essences inside the Aura of his Combat Instincts were affected by the Dao of Yin as the stone sword underwent an intrinsic transformation as soon as they touched each other. The Dao of Yin wasn't an innately evil Dao despite its similarities to the Demon Dao. In fact, it's true abilities lay in how it could connect with the spiritual influences of the world since it was actually part of it.
Fang Yun watched on as the Aura within the giant stone sword of his Combat Instincts formed into various 'Intents' before making their way towards the gun of Yin Aura.
The 'Intents' formed from the Aura of his Combat Instincts looked like the animals, insects or mythical creatures his mastered styles of Kung Fu represented in his past life and they all fused into the gun of Yin Aura before transforming it into a ball of white flames. This time, there was no ripples on the surface of his sea of consciousness after his Combat Instincts turned into a 'Sun'.
After observing it for a long while, he found that the surface of the 'Sun' formed from his Combat Instincts had a gun-shaped glyph on-top of it. It was only after seeing that his alteration succeeded did he move on and continue altering to the meditation technique he used for his Mind Force.
It wasn't that he didn't want to observe the new Chimerical Sun created by his Combat Instincts but due to how he wanted to quickly complete the full set of circulation techniques all at once.
He then used most of the other martial arts he mastered on Earth to fuse the Spacial Psion cartridge under the depths of his sea of consciousness into the normal Psion around it. A spherical crystal of Psion was created as the surface of the moon-like object was engraved with countless 'Circuits'.
Fang Yun exited his sea of consciousness as soon as he finished creating these two meditation techniques and moved on to altering his circulation techniques. The Dao of Metal hidden in his flesh fused into his meridians as he altered the Harmonic Deity's Bone Cleansing technique while the Chaotic Primordial's Spirit Tempering technique allowed his Dao of Lightning to turn into a Spirit Seed.
It was only after he finished altering his techniques did he feel that a change was happening to his body. The Crystal Moon of Spacial Psion overlapped his Chimerical Sun of Yin Aura, allowing his five senses and sixth sense to have the ability to work as one. On the other hand, the Spirit Seed of Lightning Chakra he formed planted itself into his Meridians of Metal Ki, allowing his hidden strength to be upgraded by a notch through storing kinetic energy.
A smile formed onto Fang Yun's lips as confidence flooded his heart. Although he was starting from the basics once more, that didn't mean that his combat prowess was no longer as monstrous as before. As a genius martial artist, he was still able to bring out the potential of basic techniques the same way he could with advanced techniques.
Now all he needed to do was to fight many people to improve his martial arts. He didn't know how his martial arts will turn out in the end nor how long it would take to reach the level needed to beat a Core Formation stage expert, but he believed that his new foundation will give him the potential to reach that level of power one day.
Fang Yun's eyes turned heavy as he felt sleepiness. Fang Yun decided to continue his research while training Lou Meng tomorrow morning and was eager find out if this student plus closest friend of his will surpass him.

"It's time for us to train." Fang Yun dragged Lou Meng out of bed early in the morning so that they could do what they planned to do yesterday. He didn't train his martial arts by himself because he believed that he'd be able to make more progress in the heat of battle. The first priority for him right now was to buy medical equipment from the nearest store so that he could offer his medical expertise for money.
In this day and age where Cultivators and mortal martial artists alike were finding themselves being injured or killed by Rank 1 Demonic Beasts, the value of medical experts was higher than warriors of Internal Root stage.
After buying a Medical-Kit from an average store that sold it at a blatantly ripped off price. He was about to make his way back to the Inn to familiarise himself with the Medical Dao once again. However, he suddenly stopped after seeing a strange person who was slowly walking towards the Inn in a thick coat usually worn in winter. His eyes lit up with curiosity as he followed the strange coated figure into the Inn.
