I lie awake in the middle of the night
But nothing dead or alive can give me a fright
My world is filled with sorrow and pain
It hates the sun and loves the rain
Your world is full of love and smiles
Covered with light through every mile
We cannot be together
No matter how much we try, there's no forever
There's no guarrantee
That it'll always be you and me
With each smile, horrors will crawl
With one touch, our worlds can fall
