Chapter 33: Exploring the kamui dimension - 2
'A monolith with Otsususki symbol on it...
How did obito never find it? Did he never thoroughly explore his dimension or is it a change created by the system..? ' Arthur was lost in his thoughts.
If an Otsususki was really sealed inside the monolith then it was bad news for him. With his current strength, he wouldn't be able to put up a proper fight against an Otsususki
since they were basically like an immortal emperors in this world who can create dimensions with a solar system inside of it.
And teleporting out of kamui dimension wasn't an option either since all of the Otsususki knows space time jutsu.
What should he do? should he run away?
Such thoughts were running rampant on his mind and Arthur realized it too.
'Why am I being so pessimistic? Running away? I don't even know what the monolith is and still I am making baseless assumptions? '
Arthur thought and controlled himself.
'The chance of obito not finding this monolith is extremely low so that leaves with the probability the system created it for me. '
Arthur analyzed.
'The system won't try to harm me or kill me since it was designed to help me...And if that's the case then I should find this monolith as it might hold some useful secret for me...
but this is also an assumption on my end...
what if the reason why obito didn't find the monolith was because he didn't had both of his Mangekyo? The chances are slim but not quite zero' Arthur analyzed his situation and after a while, he decided to make his way towards the monolith.
It was more dangerous to have no knowledge about the monolith then a potential Otsususki.

After running for 10 minutes, he came across the monolith. It was tall, taller then a mountain and almost touching the sky , surrounding the monolith were giant blocks that were as big as mountains.
After climbing on one such block to have a better vantage point, there he saw it, the symbol of Otsususki inscribed on the monolith near the top.
Other then the monolith, he couldn't see anything out of ordinary there.
"Is it-" suddenly an idea struck Arthur.
He quickly closed his eyes and activated his Mangekyo sharingan.
"Just like I thought" Arthur said with a smirk.
Those ordinary blocks, the ground and the monolith were now glowing with strange letters under the light of the Mangekyo.
"It's just like the uchiha stone tablet" he said
He jumped down from the giant block and examined the strange letters which was now surrounding the entire area.
"Is it a formation like the uzumaki clan's? "
Arthur went towards the monolith which now had a new pattern inscribed on it which wasn't present before.
"A circuit? " Arthur remarked at the strange similarities between the symbols and the circuits from his previous world
He searched his encyclopedia but he couldn't find anything about it which was weird.
'Is this encyclopedia only useful for things from the cultivation world? '
But it didn't matter as Arthur had other means,
he checked the system shop for a translator and he found it.

"The Fuck? " Arthur cursed in surprise
"So expensive? "
but on second thought, the description justifies on why it is so expensive.
"Guess it's time to go old school" Arthur smiled and checked the system shop for a dictionary.

Arthur bought it and continued studying it for hours.
"Beginners my foot! " he cursed a little as the learning curve was even steeper then learning how to pilot an airplane after just learning how to ride the bicycle.
After half an hour , he decoded some words inscribed on the nearby block.
"Training space..."
This words stirred Arthur's interest. He focused all of his attention towards deciphering the Letters and after 2 hours, he finally learned something useful.
'So that's how it is... ' he thought and went towards the monolith, he pressed his palm towards the circuit and instantly half of his chakra was drained away.
Arthur felt dizzy but he still smiled as he found something amazing.
*Zzzzzzzz*
The chakra travelled across the monolith and the strange formations below Arthur's feet started glowing.
The ground expanded and a underground mechanical gate opened up below Arthur's feet!
Arthur jumped up, he was still in mid-air when he felt a powerful wave of chakra below his feet.
He looked towards the ground and there he saw it... Something unbelievable.
A miniature star that was contained inside a sci-fi structure !
Arthur landed back on the ground and he marvelled at the sight in front of him.
'Beautiful... Otsususki were a race advance enough to produce such engineering marvels! They captured a star! '
Oddly enough, he felt no heat coming from the star but just strong chakra waves.
'Or is it just a power source disguised as a star? ' he was doubting his thoughts when the system interrupted him.
The encyclopedia automatically activated.

Arthur went near the miniature star when suddenly he felt a powerful vortex forming around him.
"Wha-" he panicked as the vortex fully engulfed him and frantically started sucking the chakra of the star!
Arthur saw in horror as the powerful chakra enter his body.
"I will explode at this rate! " he shouted but there was nothing he could do. He was panicking but then he realized that the star's chakra that he sucked was nowhere inside his body! It was as if the chakra was transported into a different space.
Minutes rolled by as Arthur kept on absorbing the star's chakra.
The star started losing its brilliance and the brilliant white star slowly started turning red!
The Red star expanded threatening to destroy the dyson sphere but it somehow controlled it and stopped the star from expanding.
After a while, the vortex around Arthur stopped forming and what greeted his eyes was a red giant star the size of a house surrounded by the dyson sphere.
Arthur exclaimed in disbelief.
"It became a re-"
[A red giant]
A voice inside Arthur's mind completed the sentence which caught him off gaurd.
[It's been a long time host. I am the system, remember me? ]
"The system.. " Arthur of course remembered it! the first human voice that he talked to ever since he appeared in this world!
"Weren't you in hibernation? " he asked in surprise.
[I was supposed to hibernate for another 15 years but the energy from the star solved this problem]
" Problem? " Arthur asked in slight confusion.
[The reason animals hibernate is to conserve energy and like them, the system also hibernated due to lack of energy.
The plan was to slowly consume some of your chakra energy over the years to combat the low energy crisis of the system but luckily after absorbing the star's energy, the problem has been resolved.
But sadly the star's energy has been consumed more then the system anticipated
thus transforming the white star to a red giant.
The star isn't going to sustain for long ]
"How much time does it have? " Arthur asked after hearing it's explanation.
[ 1 year then it will go off into a supernova but luckily , judging from the structures around the star, it's safe to say that the supernova will be contained inside the dyson sphere. ]
"Doesn't the red giant last for millions of years ? " Arthur questioned and the system answered.
[ That is generally the case but the star in question here is a miniaturized star, it burns through its fuel much faster then a normal one. Plus the system also quickened the process by 100 times after absorbing the energy in an unstable rate. ]
"Fuck" Arthur cursed
[Sorry...]
Arthur sighed and then ask another question
"How much do you know about this training space? "
[Everything! ] the system explained in excitement
"Everything?! " Arthur asked again to check whether his ears weren't playing a trick on him.
[Yes ] The system answered smugly
[But in order to fully activate it, you need to have an Otsususki DNA Or a specific Shinjutsu. ]
[AN: Shinjutsu is an advance version of Ninjutsu used by Otsususki clan members. ]
Arthur exhaled slowly, "So all this for nothing...
I don't have the DNA Or the Shinjutsu"
[Lucky for you, I can control this training space] the system exclaimed proudly.
"Why didn't you tell me this first? " Arthur asked in slight annoyance at the system's antics.
[Let's begin! ]
'He ignored me? ' Arthur thought.
The monolith lit up as well as the surrounding blocks. Multiple beams of light shot up towards the sky and illuminated the gry sky.
The star and the dyson sphere also went back underground as the gate closed.
The area around the monolith expanded and blocks transformed into smaller but Identical monoliths.
"It's a battle ground! " Arthur exclaimed.
[It uses chakra from the star and Shinjutsu to create real simulations. Picking your first opponent...]
The monolith started sending particles of energy towards the middle of the battle ground and slowly a colossal figure emerged in front of Arthur.
"THE NINE TAILS ! " Arthur shouted in disbelief.
