Chapter 1: A new beginning
" Good morning everyone, it's 5am and i'm late!"
Yeah, it's still me JeyJey, and I'm leaving Spain to spend two weeks of camping in LA with my friend Austin. It's been a long time, but i can't wait to meet him again, and I have to hurry up!
Late and Single... can I be worse than that? I wanted to film myself while packing and leaving the house but i guess i just have to put away the cameras and hurry. QUICK QUICK!

Finally, the airport. I'm in a rush so i have to say goodbye really quickly, I just hope I won't die on this plane, so that's not gonna be my last goodbye.
- Take care of Nat while i'm not here

- And tell Lou to stay out of my room

So i get off the car and start running pulling my trolley bag behind me until i found the gate, oh they still have to open it, so lucky. I turn my cameras on again and film something around me, so i can make a vlog and edit for youtube when i'll arrive in USA. This is me leaving my country for the USA.. how did that happened? I guess I really changed a lot in the past year.. or.. in the end of the past year. After what happened I haven't been on social media since August 2020.. and.. i want to come back. A lot has happened, but now it's the time. That's why i'm filming this vending machine.
I thought i was loosing the flight, but i'm here now so i'll be in LA in 10 hours... 10...

Ok it's going. Cameras on.
" Hola... it's Jeyjey Gardi. I hope you didn't forget about me, or maybe i hope you did, no no! I'm kidding! I don't want you to forget me."
My hands are shaking. Why? Because this is going to be my first video after what happened last year. Benji did it before me, he's always been better on these things. He moved on.. at least now he's happy with someone else. Ok straight to the point.
"I'm on a plane - as you can see - because i'm going to ... LA... to spend some time with my friend Austin! So this vlog is gonna be.. with Austin.. and we rent a camper van and we're going camping, so.. it's gonna be fun."
I should probably say something about disappearing? Or.. about what happened. I'm not sure i can do that, not sitted in my place. Ok, fine, i guess i'm gonna do something. I stand up and low my cameras while reaching the bathroom, so small, I remember better times in this place.
"Ok guys, i'm sorry to film this in a bathroom and.. somewhere in the sky but i know you're waiting for answers. From me. Answers from me. I.. there's not much i can say, everyone know what happened and how we decided to deal with the situation. I'm sorry I didn't.. address the whole thing before, i needed help. Professional help. And .. i got it. So now i can speak better about what happened. I don't have screencaps.. or statements. I won't share personal information about my ex boyfriend and our relationship. But.. we now doing better, and he's happy and thats what matter now. So.. that we can go on with our lives and.. I swear soon or later i'll be happy. Maybe. Probably not. But.. soon or later."
Cameras off. I leave the bathroom and go back to my sit, i need a tissue to clean up my tears. I didn't want to cry. But it has been so hard for me to deal with what i did. It's gonna be better soon, i promise.
~ The day after ~
While sleeping i move weirdly and i fell off the bed, silence in the room, just the noise of my ass reaching the floor.
Austin: Jey! Are you ok??
J: Wtf i just fell from the bed!! How the fuck i-
A: You move a lot in your sleep!
J: Fuck you bish!
I'm laughing on the floor, it was a long time I wasn't laughing like that. I feel so much better now, with him, he always been a great friend to me. The only one that wasn't taken away from me. Ok, I should get up, the floor isn't comfortable as Austin wants you to think. But we are packing now! Two tiktokkers going camping! I'm so excited. I turn on my camera and film.
"Hi guyyyys! So we're here and I just" — "Jey just fell off the bed and broke his back!!" — "Yes that's the content i want to share thanks Austin, you so kind as always. Anyway! We're packing and we'll be ready to go soon, and.. he said he's gonna take me to the best camping trip ever but I don't believe him. Shall i believe him? Comment below if you trust Austin"
I laughed and turned my cameras off and he started throwing clothes all around the room. Why is he so chaotic, oh my!
We're going to rant a volkswagen van like hippies and we're camping in the forest lands of California. This sounds so great! I'm a bit scared, but it's gonna be fun i'm sure.
J: So... are we going to share bed in the Camper Van?
A: Yeah so what? You don't like boys anymore? Haha!
J: Don't joke about that, I'd rather die than have another relationship
A: You're not my type anyway!
J: you wish! But fine i'll try to not kick you out the bed tonight
A: That's a good start!
Cameras on. "Guys we arrived in this place and we're gonna choose a camper van like hippies! I hope it's spacious, because i need space. So here we are, we're taking the one with big bed size and a little kitchen on, it's gonna be just for a week but we have to find places with public bathrooms cause we only have a toilet. Fine, i'm gonna smell like a sheep. Yeah! That's the secret! JeyJey Gardi the new Californian Shepherd!"
A: Come here! We're leaving now!
J: Here i am
Wow! This van is so cool and aesthetic, looks like impossible what we're gonna do! I leave my trolley bag on the bed and i close the door so that we can leave the parking. Austin drives, i should take my driving license aswell. Maybe when i go back to Barcelona. We just left the city and here we are, us in the middle of no where, just nature and the road. It's dreamy. I put on some music, California Here I come!
