Chapter 1: Under The Oak Tree

ROMANCE

Author: Suji Kim

Recommended by: Nobody

About the Book:

"Love is a fairytale. Or is it?

Stuttering Maximilian is forced by her dad into a marriage with a Knight, but he leaves on a 'Dragon' campaign after their wedding night. Several years later, he returns as a Hero, ready to cherish her. As life with her husband begins, she only has one question: Does she deserve this love and happiness?

All fairytales end with a wedding and a 'happily ever after'. But their love began with a wedding. This is no fairytale."

My Thoughts:

"Under The Oak Tree" was the first novel I ever read, and I fell in love with it.

The english translation is great, smooth and beautifully written. The story plot is captivating. The characters are adorable and their relationship is so sweet. (Two humans with their own insecurities and struggles. The way they grew up as kids is heartbreaking). The world background is amazing.

I am also reading the manga (thanks to Manta apps) and I fell in love again and again. I can't stop admiring the art.

I am patiently waiting for the realization of "Under The Oak Tree 2" and I hope to read the hardcover/paperback version of this book one day.

Author, thank you for this lovely romance story and for all your hard work. Great Writer.
