Chapter 1: We meet again..
A/N- Just so you know Nightmare is a bit nicer in this..
No one's P.O.V
Ever since Nightmare had ate the apple, dream has been.. broken.
He became so.. alone. Around others he may act like his 'Normal' cheerful self.
But he was just faking it..
And no one knew~
Everytime nightmare and his gang had fought the Stars he was forced to hurt Nightmare and he hates himself for that..
...
Dream was walking through a forest trying to get himself together from his previous break down.
And it wasn't really working that well.. he sat down on a random tree, still crying thinking about nightmare and the great memories they had.
*Flashback..*
Dream and nightmare were on their usual spots under the tree when dream noticed flowers growing next to them.
On dreams side gold.. and on nightmares side purple.
Dream went and picked some flowers from both sides making to flower crowns without nightmare noticing since he was reading his book.
One crown was gold the other was purple then dream snuck up to nightmare and put the gold crown on his head while putting the purple on his own.
So nightmare was wearing gold, and dream was wearing purple.
Nightmare took of what was on his head, curious on what it was. He then put the golden flower crown on his hand staring at it with a small purple blush on his face.
He looked back a dream and saw him smiling, eyes closed, with the purple flower crown and gold blush across his face, giggling a bit causing nightmare to smile and put the crown back on.
That day ended with the two asleep hugging each other under the tree~
*End of flashback..*
He then remembered the BAD memories, the memories when he found out the villagers he loved ever so much.. had BULLIED his own brother!!
*Flash back..*
Dream walking to the tree like every other day but surprisingly sees a whole bunch of people crowding around.
He hurried over to see a crying nightmare with bruises and markes all over him.
Then the thing that horrified him the most..
Nightmare had the apple in his hands.
Dream put him hands over his mouth, shocked, With golden tears rolling down his cheeks.
Nightmare noticed dream and his facial expression. Nightmares eyes widened more purple tears forming.
Dream noticed the people were going towards nightmare. Dream rushed in front of the people his arms spread out trying to block them from getting closer, telling them to calm down.
Nightmare shocked at his brothers actions. In his head he thought dream would have hate him for this.
Dream looked back at nightmare when suddenly.. Nightmare took a bite out of the apple...
At this point dream started crying uncontrollably. His arms and knees getting weak but still standing and blocking the people for nightmares sake.
That had been the day where nightmare killed the whole village and fought his brother for the first time.
Dream walked up to nightmare tears in his eyes and getting to a fighting stance, nightmare doing the same, at the same time.
*End of flashback..*
He put his knees to his chest burring his face in them crying. He suddenly heard someone walking and sitting on the ground next to dream.
Dreams head shot up immediately turning his head to his side..
He saw nightmare. He had one knee up close to his chest, the other down straight. He was looking up at the stars. He then looked at Dream.
Dreams P.O.V
We made eye contact. More tears falling down my face with surprised eyes and nightmare with his normal straight face but more soft..
I quickly made my way into his side cuddling against his arm closing my eyes. He was shocked and stiffened but eventually relaxed his body getting used to the feeling. The whole time having a blue-ish blush on his face.
No one's P.O.V
He leaned in to dreams touch. His eyes closed, relaxed. Dream opened his eyes and looked up at nightmare.
"I've missed you so much Nighty.." dream said nuzzling into nightmares arm with his gold blush on his cheeks. Nightmare was pretty flustered, his face covered in blush, shocked at dreams actions.
He just gave dream a little 'mhmm' and started leaning back into dreams embrace.
