The feeling of ocean around me..
The panic and fear that had consumed me suddenly seemed to melt away slowly,
replaced by a state of calm and serenity.
'I felt my body grow colder and lighter.
It was as if all my worries and problems were dissolving into the water, leaving only peace and calmness behind.
In this moment, all thoughts and concerns left my mind, and I surrendered myself completely to the embrace of the sea.
The world around me faded into oblivion, and everything else faded into nothing like it has never existed.'
After that, I lost my sense of mind.

Kyo sat up slowly, still feeling disoriented and dazed from his 'enjoyable' drowning experience from earlier as he looks around his surroundings, seeming to be in green scenery nearby a river as he looks up and was shocked by the sight he saw.

The neon purple status window says in front of him.

Kyo's mind raced with millions of thoughts as he tries to make sense of his current situation.
He couldn't even believe his eyes from what he's currently seeing, continuing to stare at the purplish colored status window in shock, which hovered patiently in front of him.
The memories that he could recall of his past experiences were, drowning and being embraced by the sea flashing through his mind.
He started to assume that maybe, perhaps the near-death situation had triggered the awakening?
(In the end, he didn't actually enjoy it.)

As he continues to deeply contemplated about this, he reached out and slaps himself on the cheek.
"This can't be real-..!"
Kyo mutters to himself, disbelief in his tone being clear.
JUST what the hell is happening here!?!

Kyo's mind was still racing as his thoughts drifted into an existential crisis spiral, for a few minutes.
He lost himself in contemplations and thinking, only to be returning to reality by the realization that he should definitely check his status window.
He slowly stood up from the ground, his eyes still fixed on the status window in front of his view, pressing the buttons of ranking on it, he started to scan through the various sections of the window and stats that were displayed, his attention was getting drawned to the ranking status, which he studied with a puzzled expression?

Kyo couldn't believe his eyes at first as he examined the status window for a few good seconds. It seemed like it was listing various different types of sections and options, including PY for physical stats like strength and speed, and MEL for mental stats like intelligence and luck.
But he wasn't completely sure about the last category which was SP.
what did it mean? He assumed it was speed at first but the PY category already had speed but.. possibly it's based on the others, he figured it that it would be quite important in the future.
But for now he'll be focusing on his journey of.. awakened being?

Kyo started to spent some time researching about the system and discovered some useful information, such as titles that could help in gaining skills and stats, along with weapons being earned by the awakened beings if they complete the quest, and a map of around his surroundings to help him navigate through the forests.
As Kyo continued to explore the status window, he stumbled upon the skill and class section!
which made him interested in pressing it, which he did ofcourse!
Because he needs to know how the hell he would survive in this random forest…
A white screen suddenly popped up next to the side of the purple status window which makes him stumble back by shock.
"Woah..?!, what's this thingy-?"
Kyo was still being shocked and confused of the white screen's unexpected apperance, carefully reading the contents, which revealed his class along with his skills. he mutters to himself, still struggling to comprehend the implications of what he's reading..

Kyo's brow furrowed as he studies the list of his available abilities assigned to him.
Realizing there wasn't any mention about the ranking of his abilities as he just stares at the white window status.
Normally, he knew that all awakened beings would see the clear rankings about his abilities, from F~S ranking. But, however for kyo, there wasn't any rankings next to the abilities but as long they're useful and rises his chance of surviving is more than good enough.
"I guess I'll check them out one by one."
Kyo thinks to himself as he views the first option of his ability which was Requital of reminiscence.
Seeker of reminiscence:
The ability grants the being the capacity to dive into memories of various entities, including objects, animals and monsters with a specific command.
But the amount of memories is obtained directly tied to the strength and power of the entity which the memory is drawn.

Kyo started to read the explanation cheerfully, his brow furrowed in thought when he noticed a cheerful looking emoji at the end of its description.
Despite the strange feeling of why it's there.. he tries to dismiss the feeling by reassuring himself.
"It's probably fine if I let it be right?"
Kyo thinks to himself and pondering its usefulness as he decides it's best to test it out.
Kyo checks his surroundings for a bit before picking up a rock from the ground and activating his skill.

The ability activated by command which makes Kyo's mind abruptly get assaulted without any warnings of the memories from the rock.
He was suddenly privy to the rock's first creation and its entire rock-line of its family,
A sudden scene of a romantic kdrama about car crashes, rich ML and in debt FL appears in his head.
"Oppa rocky kun.. Don't choose me.. you deserve better..!"
"No, my beautiful noona chan.. I will love you and cherish you deepl-"
He was beginning to get overwhelmed and desperate to make the memories of it disappear, he immediately yeeted it to the skies to 'who knows where?'
Thankfully, the memories disappeared as soon as the rock disappeared from his grip.
"What the actual fuck is that cliche story..?"
Kyo says out loud, cursing some profanities as he made a firm decision,
Declaring himself to never ever use that ability for the rest of his lives if it's possible.
"I don't give a fudging shit about some rock's entire family tree of its first ever generation-!!"
Kyo hastily moved on, selecting the second option on his list, determined to find something else more better.
The dreadful thought of witnessing and plunging into the history of countless and endless rock generations was a one time experience that he never ever hoped to repeat.
"A-anyways.. I'll get into the next ability.."

Overwhelming amounts of memories,
But, he shook it off from his mind and shifted his attention to the second option of his abilities.
Memoir's sight:l
The ability to enable the being to perceive the history and actions of an individual who shares similarities with themselves.
But, the extent to the accessible knowledge of the individual are contingent upon the level difference between the user and the target.
Requirements to activate:
When the being wishes to observe the target, the ability will grant the being to see the lists of crimes committed by that target.
(Including any good deeds as well!) - System
Additionally, it also provides the ability to see its titles associated with the target's crimes and good deeds.
After Kyo finished reading through the explanation, a few thoughts crossed through his mind.
"Would it only apply on humans like me or every creature..?"
He wonders but he did note the fact he's currently the only one around in this forest.
He decided to shrug off the thought and return to reading the other abilties.

He thought that profile analysis was the same as the ability from earlier which allows him to see the profile of other beings like him, thinking it's a bit useless for his current situation but he continues with the last available ability, hoping it's something that can provide defense or help him attack.
Kyo eyes suddenly widened as he reads the final available ability's description he has left.

The ability will provide the being the being with the power to utilize poisons in for a variety different types of purposes, including healing, attacks and many more!

Realizing that it would allow him to use all sorts of poison possible, not just only for attacks but also healing and providing defense as well!!
"HELL YEAH I HIT THE JACKPOT!!"
He excitedly expresses his happiness with a little dance until he realized it was a little embarrassing so he pushes that thought away.
His mind started to buzz with possibilities as he considered the amount of various ways he could use this newfound power.
Until he noticed the ranking of the poison resistance.. (W) RANKING!?!
